I might be biased but The Dodford Inn are unparalleled and the best venue out there!
The communication, attention to detail, staff, service- everything was just brilliant!
They took so much stress out of the planning of the wedding as well as during the big day itself. I really couldn’t praise them enough but mostly the personal touch of the small family run business is what sets them apart.
I’d highly recommend them as a venue to anyone who would listen and so many of our guests commented on how beautiful it is. If you get a chance, get to one of their open days and you will see what I mean! -

An incredible venue
My now husband and I had planned to see a few venues in the midlands after deciding to keep our wedding relatively small and local. We only saw The Dodford that day and were immediately convinced that this was the place for us. The space was intimate yet not confined, every person who’s worked with us to organise and who worked on the day of were friendly, professional, organised, seen yet unseen. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough, we had the most magical day, we will never forget it. -

From the moment we visited the Dodford Inn, we knew it was the venue to host our wedding reception. We opted for the cedar package with a special requested welcome drink-this was no problem for the team who were happy to accommodate all requests.
We felt happy and relaxed throughout the day.
The food was a massive highlight with guests complementing it after the day! The transition from the wedding breakfast to the disco setting was seamless, with guests feeling comfortable throughout. Lee the resident DJ was also brilliant and put together the perfect disco for us, which was enjoyed by all in an ideal setting!
The day was everything we hoped for and so much more. A huge thank you to Ben, Amber and the team for organising and facilitating such a perfect day. -

Honestly, I do not even know where to start with The Dodford Inn.
We got married there last weekend and from the very first viewing, right through to saying goodbye the day after the wedding, Becky, George, Ben, Amber and the rest of the team were nothing short of incredible.
The truth is, we did not even bother looking anywhere else after we viewed it. It was genuinely love at first sight and we knew straight away that this was where we wanted to get married.
They are some of the loveliest people you could ever meet. Professional, kind, patient, welcoming and just completely on it from start to finish. Nothing was ever too much trouble, everything was looked after and at no point did we feel like we had to worry about a single thing. When I say they took care of everything, I genuinely mean EVERYTHING.
I honestly cannot think of one complaint, one issue or even one small groan. They could not have done a single thing better.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning and it was one of the biggest talking points of the whole day. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful it was, how amazing the food was and how brilliant the staff were.
And the food is ridiculous. Even though we are now married, Sally and I are genuinely tempted to keep coming back to the tasting days just so we can have it all again.
The Dodford Inn has completely stolen our hearts. They gave us the most amazing wedding day and a lifetime of memories that we will never forget.
Becky, George, Ben, Amber and the whole team, you are absolute angels. We could not have asked for a kinder group of people to look after us and we will never be able to thank you enough.
If you are considering getting married at The Dodford Inn, just book it. You will not regret it.

Simply the best!
We have known of the Dodford Inn and the team there for a number of years now. We celebrated a big birthday there a few years ago and were so impressed that when we started looking for a wedding venue, we looked again at the Dodford as an option. It didn’t take long for is to decide it was the right venue for us. Ben and Becky (and the whole team) were simply fantastic from the very start. In the early stages they helped us understand whether the venue was right for us, giving us swift answers to many questions without ever being pushy. With a preference to talk things through in person, they were more than happy to meet us face to face to help with the planning and provided clear and pragmatic tools to support us. Nothing is too much trouble for the team and they really did take any stress or last minute flapping away by encouraging us to think about key decisions early. We wanted a wedding day where a lot of the traditions were stripped back so that we could enjoy the day informally as much as possible. The team at the Dodford Inn were more than happy to help us shape this but also offered help and guidance where they could using their vast experience of what generally works and what does not. The day we had could not have been any more perfect. Everything was taken care of and we, and our guests, were treated like royalty. Any guests with alergies or dietry requirements were cared for attentively and every last detail was seamlessly dealt with. Ben, Becky and team have the ability to manage events with an exceptional level of calmness and control. Events management is notoriously fraught with last minutes issues but the team’s meticulous planning appears to avoid any risk of this. If there were any issues, then we would never have known as the team operate with a serene and unrattled professionalism. The venue itself is of course stunning and so many of our guests commented on how beautiful it was. Being hot air balloonists, we were keen to inflate a balloon at dusk. Despite being a very unusual request, Ben did not hesitate to allow us to do this which made our wedding day that bit more unique and bespoke to us. We cannot thank the whole team enough for helping us have the best day ever. Everyone on the team seems to have the same level of care and attention to detail that Becky and Ben showcase. -
