Sant'Angelo in Panzo is a dreamy destination for couples hosting their milestone in Umbria. We invite you to spend your entire wedding day, from the ceremony in the garden or at the lovely private chapel, to the celebration around a banquet with 40 of your closest relatives and friends, surrounded by leafy trees and the charming historic house as your backdrop.

You also have the possibility to enjoy the exclusive location before and after the celebration by renting the villa for several nights. All the rooms have fine furnishings and are available for 16 people.

The rent of the location starts at a price of 4’000 EUR. We will be happy to work together with you on the most appropriate solutions for the event and its perfect success as well as connecting you with the best specialists of the region for the catering and any additional service you might need.

A little bit of history…

From its humble convent beginnings, to becoming an abandoned hermitage, a patrician residence, and recently, a rural home, Sant'Angelo in Panzo's past dates back to the 10th century when it was built on the ruins of a Roman settlement. Still today, the structure retains its original setting, with water springs that have supplied Assisi since the Roman times and its small private church.

Located about two kilometers from Assisi on the slopes of Mount Subasio, Sant'Angelo in Panzo was, according to the legend, the first convent where St. Clare, (in Italian Santa Chiara), performed her first miracle.
