We dealt with Amelia and Ros at York House and both were so kind and helpful from our first call and viewing up to the day of the wedding! Everything was perfectly planned by Amelia, and Ros was so calm and patient on the day. He runs the wedding day so smoothly but was so helpful in adapting when we got some unforeseen rain! The venue is gorgeous and we were so happy we chose to book the Salon for the ceremony and the winter garden for a drinks reception. With slightly different vibes it meant we could give a change of scenery and got some great photos from it! The grounds are gorgeous for photos too! -

To say we had an incredible experience seems like an understatement, what an amazing day! York House is fantastic and I would recommend them and the fantastic team to anyone looking to get married. Small Wedding Ceremony & Drinks Reception
We had our 30 guest wedding in York House, with the ceremony in the Loggia Room followed by a drinks reception in the Winter Gardens. Both rooms were fantastic and helped make the day special (even in the challenging heat!), providing wonderful backdrops for our photographs. We also took lovely photographs in the gardens at the back. Amelia and Ray (and the rest of the team) were both professional and friendly, and worked hard to ensure the day ran seamlessly. They organised preparations in the days/weeks before the event, and Ray was on site to help with the running of the day. Highly recommend both the Loggia Room and the Winter Gardens!

From the very first email engaging with the Halls & Hospitality Officer (specifically Amelia) at York House, we knew we were going to be looked after for our special day. The communication, the attention to detail, the planning and the care was unbelievable - I would highly recommend booking here because you will have ultimate peace of mind as well as the most beautiful surroundings!
The rooms and grounds are beautiful, the team is brilliant and I also want to give a special shoutout to Ray (York House Coordinator), who made the day go extremely smoothly, took everything off our plates and calmed our pre-wedding nerves with his humour as well!
Everything went as well as we could have imagined and the team here are wonderful! Thank you to everyone -

A stunning venue in a perfect location
We were liaising with Lara in the lead up to the wedding. Her professionalism and helpfulness made the wedding planning process very smooth. Ros was available on the day and again nothing was too much trouble and he really did help the day go very smoothly. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, we hired the garden room and salon. The gardens are beautiful and so many spots to take pictures. -

Highly Recommend!
We had our wedding ceremony in the Winter Garden Room at York House, and it was absolutely beautiful. The room itself is stunning, with gorgeous vines and lovely views over the gardens, making it a perfect setting for our special day.
A special thank you to Amelia, who was fantastic throughout the planning process. She was always responsive, helpful, and supportive, making everything so much easier to organise.
Everything ran smoothly on the day, and all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and really organised! We also chose to add an extra hour for a champagne reception and additional photos, which was well worth it as the grounds are beautiful and provided the perfect backdrop for pictures.
One thing to note is that the Winter Garden Room can get quite warm on very hot days due to the glass structure. We had 28-degree weather, and although cooling systems were in place, it was still quite warm. We provided paper fans for our guests, which worked really well and added a nice touch.
We also arranged canapés through Sophie at Little Spoon, and I highly recommend her—everything was absolutely delicious and enjoyed by all our guests.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend York House as a wedding venue. -

We had the most gorgeous day at York House!
In the build up, everyone was polite and helpful, answering questions and nudging us for anything outstanding. We had a small administrative hurdle while trying to fill in our online ceremony form, but once we raised it with the team they helped us solve it quickly.
The day went so smoothly and Ros was friendly, efficient and helped us have the exact day arrival that we'd planned, while not rushing us out and allowing us the time and space to get some gorgeous photos
