Helpful and Efficient every time

As a Wedding cake maker I find Widbrook Grange one of the best venues. Claire and her team are always helpful and efficient at all times. Correspondence is amazing as is attention to detail.
I look forward to delivering here..

Perfect venue for an intimate wedding

We fell in love with Widbrook immediately and booked it straight away.

We got married in December 2024 in an elopement ceremony with just our children in attendance. The venue was decorated beautifully for Christmas and was warm and cosy.

Claire was fantastic from start to finish and we could not have asked for anything more. She was always available to answer any questions throughout the planning process and went above and beyond to make our day perfect. We already can’t wait to go back and stay again.

Wow! Where to start? Claire and the team did a fantastic job helping us have the most memorable wedding day ever in July.

Right from our initial visit to Widbrook, Claire went above and beyond to help deliver our dream day. Was always available during the planning process, super responsive and attentive to every detail.

We were sold on the beautiful venue which was able to create the intimate atmosphere we had been searching for. The space was versatile enough to cater for any scenario, ceremony room, restaurant, outdoor setting to name a few.

The head chef was top tier, understanding the many food allergies and dietary requirements some of our guests had, our guests could not stop raving about the food!

We could not have asked for a better wedding day and highly recommend it to any couple tieing the knot!

We cant put into words how thankful we are

We can't put into words how thankful we are, from the point where we arrived to when the night sadly ended, everyone was so helpful, polite and fantastic! Without Claire's help we would not have had the most perfect day. We're still sad that it's all over. We will be back for food and afternoon tea! Thank you again for everything.

Absolutely beautiful!

We booked our wedding at the Widbrook Grange for 25th November 2017 without even seeing any other venues. It is absolutely beautiful and suited our needs perfectly. Claire, events organiser, was amazing and put my mind completely at ease throughout the whole process.
We also had SO many compliments on the food and gin bar. Cannot wait to come back for a night, even though we only live up the road!

We cannot thank Claire and the team enough

Had our wedding here and I can’t thank Claire and the team enough. Claire has been helpful right from the beginning of booking the venue. Beautiful place with the sun shining and everything ran smoothly!! We came here after we booked the venue to try the food for Easter and it did not disappoint, the standard was just as good for our wedding, very tasty and looked great. We will be returning for food and dog friendly stays

From start to finish, everything was perfect

We recently had our wedding here, from start to finish, everything was perfect. The staff at this hotel are second to none and without them our day wouldn't have been what it was. I would highly recommend this place for weddings, evening meals (as the food is amazing) or just a short break. It's been an absolute pleasure.

We loved Widbrook from the very first visit

We loved Widbrook from the very first visit as it suited us perfectly. We were looking for an intimate friendly place that had rustic charm and that's exactly what we got. Claire, the wedding coordinator was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The staff were brilliant and made us feel very special. The food was fantastic and the bedrooms are decorated beautifully. There are lots of unusual touches throughout the hotel, which adds to its charm. If you are looking for a relatively small wedding that feels personal and intimate then look no further, this place is spot on. We only wish we could do it all again. We will be back for our anniversary without a doubt!

It is such a beautiful and cosy venue!

We celebrated our wedding here last Saturday and it was absolutely perfect! It's such a beautiful and cosy venue that even the rain on the day didn't really matter. The staff were all very helpful and welcoming, Claire, the wedding coordinator helped to make organising everything very simple. Also, the food including breakfast was fantastic and the rooms are beautiful! All our guests loved their stay and we definitely plan on returning again for our anniversary!

We are so happy we fell in love with this place

Everything was incredible! Delicious food, super organisation, excellent accommodation, friendly staff and well priced. The place has so much character - rustic and quirky - but tons of comfort too. We are so happy we fell in love with this place and decided to have our big day here! I'd definitely recommend this venue for anyone's wedding - young or old!
