It has taken us longer than expected to write this review as neither of us could find the words to describe how perfect our day was! From the moment we arrived at Upton Barn, we knew it was something special, but we never could have imagined just how magical our wedding day would turn out to be.
The team at Upton Barn went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, from coordinating with our vendors to anticipating little details we hadn’t even thought of. Georgia was simply incredible throughout the whole planning process- nothing was too much. Having Georgia and Carla on the day, embracing all the madness and ensuring we all had the best time surpassed all our expectations and I don’t think we will ever be able to thank you enough. The kindness and professionalism the whole team showed us made us feel completely at ease, and it truly felt like they cared as much about our day as we did.
Our guests are still talking about how stunning the venue was and they’re not wrong. It truly is a beautiful place. As the evening rolled around and the lights twinkled across the reception space and the sparklers came out, we looked around and felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude. It was us, it was pure love, and it was exactly how we had always hoped it would feel.
We’ll cherish the memories we made here for the rest of our lives. Thank you, Upton Barn, for giving us the most perfect day imaginable. If you’re looking for a venue that’s as heartfelt as it is beautiful, then this is it! -

My wife and I got married at Upton barn August 2026! From the very first viewing, their attention to detail was second to none. They remember all the small things you dream of for your wedding day and have an ability to make any vision come to life!!
We had Tracey as our wedding co-ordinator, supported by Georgie on the day! And they couldn’t have been better! They were like 2 extra mums, there holding our hand when we needed, guiding us through our day stress free and making sure everything went so smoothly. But most importantly it felt like they were celebrating with us and you could see the genuine care and happiness they had for us as a couple!
We wish we could do the whole day over again, it was the best day of our lives!! One of our massive highlights was having an trad duo play on their new rooftop for our first dance and with the views and sunset, it was the most magical moment of our lives!!
We’ll be back to Upton for some of their open events / feast over fire because it’s very quickly become one of our favourite places to be!!
If you’re thinking of booking Upton for your wedding day, our only advice is to do it!

We were truly spoilt rotten with Upton Barn. From the moment we booked with them, they were thorough and attentive. If we reached out for help, they would immediately respond with anything we needed. On the day, the staff made sure it all ran smoothly. Even when the bustle on my dress broke, they rushed to pin it up so I could get back to dancing. The venue itself is beautiful and the walled garden is just stunning. I couldn’t have asked for a better day!Upton Barn & Walled Garden's reply:

From the moment we viewed Upton Barn 18 months ago to our wedding day last week, everything has been incredible. The team at Upton are wonderful and a real credit to the venue. They are friendly, responsive, knowledgeable and organised - a true delight to work with. We owe a massive thank you in particular to Georgia who coordinated our day to perfection.
We were lucky enough to get married in the beautiful Walled Garden and then had reception drinks on their new terrace overlooking the Devon countryside. We then moved indoors for our wedding breakfast and evening party, which are held in separate rooms. Everything on the day flowed seamlessly and each area/room is stunning in its own right.
We couldn't have asked for a better venue to host our wedding and would 100% recommend it to anyone else thinking about getting married at Upton Barn. -

From the moment we first viewed Upton Barn, we knew we’d found our venue. It’s absolutely stunning and somehow manages to be both rustic and modern at the same time. Every part of it is beautiful, and the newer spaces in The Foundry just make it even more special. We honestly couldn’t picture ourselves getting married anywhere else.
The team at Upton Barn are quite simply outstanding. From the months leading up to the wedding right through to the very last song, we felt completely looked after. Every question was answered, every little detail was thought about and nothing ever felt like too much trouble.
A huge, huge thank you has to go to Georgia Mears our wedding coordinator. She is honestly incredible at what she does and deserves so much recognition. She was calm, organised, reassuring and just seemed to have absolutely everything under control at all times. In the lead up to the wedding she was always there to answer questions and put our minds at ease, and on the day she worked so hard behind the scenes to make sure everything ran perfectly. We never once had to worry about what was happening next because we knew Georgia had it covered. She is an absolute credit to Upton Barn and we honestly can’t thank her enough for everything she did to make our day so special.
The day itself couldn’t have run more smoothly. From getting ready in The Paddock, to our ceremony in the Walled Garden, drinks on the rooftop, the wedding breakfast and then dancing the night away, every transition was effortless. We didn’t have to think about a single thing - we were just able to be completely present and enjoy every moment with our family and friends.
One of the biggest compliments we kept hearing from our guests was how incredibly well organised everything was. So many people commented on how smoothly the day flowed, how attentive the team were and just how much everyone behind the scenes had everything under control. It genuinely felt like such a well-oiled machine, but in a way that was warm, personal and never felt robotic.
We honestly had the most magical day, and so much of that is down to the incredible team at Upton Barn. Thank you for creating such a beautiful venue, for caring so much about every couple that gets married there, and for giving us memories we’ll cherish forever. If we could do it all again tomorrow, we’d choose Upton Barn every single time 🤍🤍🤍 -

We had our wedding at Upton on Friday and it was absolutely incredible! We worked with Georgia from the very start, however, every single member of the team we met and worked with were brilliant!
From brilliant communication, to decor placement and everything in between, it was all just PERFECT!
The venue is absolutely stunning and the new parts were just an added bonus. We fell in love with the venue straight away.
The Paddock where you can get ready is a highlight. I had a team of 10 bridesmaids, my mum and 4 hair and makeup artist and the room was perfect, with plenty of space. We never once struggled and had the most relaxing morning.
The team at Upton bought my vision to LIFE 😍 everything was exactly how I wanted (I sent several documents on what I like and was a pain) but what the team done for us was absolutely incredible.
Georgia, you were a pleasure to work with! You made our day go so smoothly, we’re so professional but also felt like a friend throughout. I’m actually so upset now it’s over& we don’t get to speak anymore 😂
I would get married here over and over again and forever grateful we chose this incredible venue.
