Everything about Tissington Hall was just wonderful. The team were wonderful to deal with, especially Cat who supported and reassured us during the whole process. Nothing seemed too much effort. Our wedding day was everything we could have every hoped and dreamed it would be, we would both love to experience it all over again and that is down to the team behind it all. They made the vision of our intimate, relaxed wedding come to life and I couldn't recommend them enough. -

What a venue! Service through the roof!!!
WOW! Our wedding at Tissington Hall met every single expectation and more! We loved it! It is hard to not be wowed by the building on the approach to the venue. Stunning architecture and impressive grounds, but what really is the selling point to Tissington Hall is how above and beyond they go to provide you and your guests the best experience ever! Nothing is a problem!
We fell in love with the venue the day we went to visit. We looked at a lot of other 'country house' style properties and liked a lot of them. The others generally had 'package deals' where they did all your food etc too where at Tissington Hall, they had an extensive list of suppliers to recommend. For ease, I think having a package can be sometimes desirable but I would really recommend you not just going for that sort of option. The Tissington team worked with me throughout the whole 18 month lead up to book every supplier so that they were perfect and unique to our special day!
The grounds and premises are stunning so you can imagine what our photos look like!!!
What really is the most special part of Tissington is the personalised service and if you want this, you must consider Tissington. Even on the morning of the wedding when a guest was struggling to get ready due to their mobility, the Tissington team came along as Super Heroes! It really does define 'above and beyond' service!

We knew we wanted to get married at Tissington as soon as we visited - the area is beautiful, the hall has so much character, and more than anything Cat put us totally at ease.
The experience has been so smooth from start to finish - and on the day we didn’t have to think about anything at all. Before something even occurred to me, the team had it completely sorted, they were amazing and it meant we could just soak in the day without any stress.
They are total pros and lovely people to boot. We had the most amazing wedding there and I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

The whole team at Tissington went above and beyond to make our wedding day special for us, it was absolutely wonderful and they handled everything for us so we could enjoy the day fully.
The whole venue is perfect, and so many of our guests commented on how gorgeous it all was. We were supposed to get married outside (which would have been lovely) but the rain moved us inside the hall, I was disappointed for a few seconds but then remembered how cosy yet grand the main hall is and was happy all over again.

We recently got married at Tissington Hall and couldn't recommend it enough. The venue is stunning, the staff are amazing and the location is incredible! I would highly recommend attending one of their open days to take a look around yourselves if you're planning your special day. A special thank you to Cat (The Wedding & Events Manager) who is so hard working, professional, kind and attentive. We couldn't of asked for better service from her and would recommend in a heartbeat. Thank you for making our day so special - Ben & Leanna x -

We were so lucky to have had our special day at Tissington Hall a few weeks ago. Everything was absolutely beautiful and everyone at Tissington couldn’t have done more to make our day magical. Cat, Gabbie and the team were incredible throughout and made sure that everything was perfect for us. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and our guests keep on commenting on how beautiful a setting it was. From our first viewing with Fiona to our big day, we were made to feel very welcome and knew throughout the planning process that we were in safe hands. Thank you all so much, it really was our perfect day! -

We got married at Tissington Hall in September 2025 and we can’t thank the team enough! Right from the first day when Lady Fiona showed us around the hall, the team were warm and welcoming and wanted to make our wedding a truly personal experience. As our wedding was small and intimate, we were lucky enough to have our wedding breakfast in the dining room of the hall …a truly unique experience in a beautiful room steeped in history! We had sole use of the hall for the full day and the wonderful staff catered to our every need …nothing was too much trouble. I can’t thank them enough! Our wedding guests stayed in the hall’s accommodation for the full weekend, most accommodation was in the hall and some in nearby cottages in the village. All the accommodation was superbly decorated to a high standard and catered to our guests every need. We held our evening reception the following night in the Carriage House. Again, the staff were superb, everything was done exactly as we wished and nothing was too much trouble. We can’t thank Catherine and the team enough for their professionalism from start to finish and of course to the Fitzherberts for allowing us use of their beautiful home. If you’re looking for a truly unique, personalised wedding in a beautiful location, Tissington Hall is for you! We highly recommend! -
