We held our daughter's wedding at Thornton Manor and it was, without doubt, the most wonderful day. Everything went like an absolute dream. We were delighted to be invited to a birthday function there last week. It brought back wonderful memories. I have to say the music room, where our daughter and son in law were married, looked as stunningly beautiful as ever.

timeless Venue
Thornton Manor will always be one of my favourite places in the whole world.
James and I got married here, and we’ve been back so many times since for weddings and other events. Every visit brings back the happiest memories, and driving through the gates still gives me that same feeling every single time.
The Manor itself is absolutely stunning. It’s full of character and history, the gardens are always immaculate, and wherever you look there’s something beautiful to take in.
For me, it’s just one of those places that always feels special. There’s such a lovely atmosphere, everyone is so welcoming, and every time we go back it just feels like coming home.
Choosing Thornton Manor for our wedding was one of the easiest decisions we ever made, and if we had our time again, we’d choose it all over again. It really is such a special place, and I honestly couldn’t recommend it more to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue. -

Dream Venue
My wife and I were married at Thornton Manor, and since then we've been back a number of times for weddings and other events. Every visit reminds us why we chose it in the first place.
The Manor itself is absolutely stunning. It's full of history and character without ever feeling dated, and the grounds are some of the best you'll find anywhere. No matter the season, it's a beautiful place to spend the day and there always seems to be another great spot for photographs that you hadn't noticed before.
What really stands out though is how well everything is run. The staff are always friendly, organised and genuinely want everyone to have a great time. Whether we've been there as the bride and groom or simply as guests, the whole experience has always felt relaxed and seamless.
If you're looking for a wedding venue that's both impressive and timeless, I honestly can't recommend Thornton Manor highly enough. It was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and it's somewhere we'll always enjoy going back to. -

We celebrated our wedding at Thornton Manor and it truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special and perfectly set up for our day.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning – full of character, beautifully maintained, and the perfect backdrop for a wedding. The grounds are incredible and made for some amazing photos, while the Great Hall created such an unforgettable atmosphere for the ceremony and reception.
The whole day ran so smoothly, and the team were fantastic throughout – attentive, organised, and always on hand to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it.
We stayed on site the night before, which made everything feel relaxed and stress-free, and allowed us to really enjoy every moment of the day.
So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and how much they enjoyed the entire experience.
We honestly couldn’t have chosen a better place to get married – we would highly recommend Thornton Manor to anyone looking for a truly special wedding venue.Thornton Manor's reply:

Beautiful venue
I held my 30th birthday party at Thornton Manor and it was an amazing event.
The venue was beautiful and all staff were incredibly helpful and supportive with everything that I needed providing or delivering to the venue, before and after the event.
Philip and Dianne were lovely as owners and couldn’t have been more flexible with my needs and requests.
I would love to have my wedding here hopefully sometime soon -

Me and my now husband got married during the 15 guest allowance, we went though a rollercoaster of emotions but thornton manor staff were there for us through thick and thin! Georgie & Charlotte in particular were phenomenal. They made a very scary/stressful situation into our dream day! The room was beautiful and everything went perfect. Thank you so much. -
