We had the most incredible experience celebrating our wedding at The Woodman Inn, and we honestly can't recommend it enough. We knew straight away from our initial visit it was the place we wanted to get married
A huge part of what made the day so special was the amazing team behind it, especially Jordan and Nadia. From our initial enquiry right through to the big day, they were both exceptional—professional, approachable, and genuinely invested in making our wedding everything we dreamed of. They guided us through the planning process with ease, answered every question we had, and were always on hand to offer advice and support.
On the day itself, everything ran extremely smoothly. The staff were attentive, the food was amazing. Jordan and Nadia made sure every little detail was perfect, and their calm, reassuring presence meant we could truly relax and enjoy every moment. So many of our guests commented on how stunning the venue was and how smoothly the whole day flowed.
Choosing The Woodman Inn was one of the best decisions we made. It gave us not just a stunning backdrop for our wedding, but a team of people who genuinely cared about making it unforgettable. We’re so grateful to Jordan, Nadia, and the whole team —we’ll cherish the memories forever. -

Mr & Mrs Phillips
We got married on the 22nd March 2025. We could not have chosen a better venue for our special day. Nadia went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. All the meetings before the wedding were so helpful and allowed us not to stress about it and get all questions we needed answered. I knew i could always email or phone if i needed and it wasn’t too much for them. I loved how they were so pet friendly and our fur baby could play a part in our special day.
Myself, my baby girl, my mother and my bridesmaid stayed the night before, she ensured breakfast orders were in and they served breakfast too our room which was lovely.
The morning of the wedding Nadia came to check on us which i thought was really nice. She reassured me so much, she put me at ease. She kept me updated with everything that was going on.
Many of my guest complimented how amazing Nadia was. All staff were so lovely and helpful. The food was super delicious, all my guest complimented how amazing the food was and how hot it was. Not one person had a bad word about it.
The bridal suite was stunning and the breakfast the next day
We cannot thank the team at the woodman inn for how special they made our day. Extra special thank you to Nadia for everything, you are amazing. Such a lovely woman🤍

There are truly no words big enough to thank the Woodman Inn for everything they did to make our wedding day so incredibly special. From the moment we arrived to the final goodbyes, they made us feel like the most important people in the world, even while hosting two other weddings that same weekend. The care, attention, and love they poured into every detail was honestly overwhelming.
Everything ran like a dream. The order of the day was absolutely spot on — everything flowed so naturally, and we never once felt rushed or stressed. The venue looked beyond beautiful, and somehow, they even managed to mold the weather to be absolutely perfect for us — it felt like a little piece of magic just for our day.
The food was absolutely amazing — we had so many compliments from our guests, who couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was. A massive thank you too for the mash bar — it was so us and hands down the best evening food we could have asked for!
A very special mention has to go to Nadia, who showed endless patience and kindness through baby tantrums in our meetings and still greeted me with a smile even when I was running (slightly!) late. Your calm, caring nature made such a difference and helped keep us relaxed every step of the way.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for giving us the most beautiful memories we will treasure forever. We are so lucky we chose the Woodman Inn— it will always hold a very special place in our hearts -

Amazing venue and team to host such a special day!
Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou to Nadia and the rest of the team at The Woodman Inn! We can’t thank you all enough for being part of our special day! We are truly grateful for each and every one of you for the lengths you went too, to make sure we had the best day of our lives and one that no one will ever forget!
Nadia did an amazing job at understanding our vision of what our perfect day would look like. Answered any enquires we had - no matter what time of day it was! We had so many compliments from guest about staff, how they always had a smile on their face and were happy to help. Please let everyone in the team know how brilliant they were, especially serving endless amounts of Baby Guinness’
From booking the venue, to the big day itself, everything ran so smoothly. We have had such a lovely experience, it was everything and more that we could have ever wished for! The venue looked amazing and there were lots of compliments on how amazing the food was!
We truly had the best day of our lives and it wouldn’t have been the same without Nadia and the team, thankyou! -

We wanted a chilled wedding with lots of amazing food and drink and that exactly what we got. We had about 50 guests and it was the perfect amount of people for the Country Room and to be able to spend time with everyone during the day. The food was amazing and the staff were so helpful throughout the whole process!

We had our wedding at The Woodman Inn in Thunder Bridge last Saturday and it was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning location – the charming countryside setting created the most magical backdrop for our day.
The food was absolutely amazing; every single guest commented on how delicious and beautifully presented it was. From the canapés to the main meal and late-night snacks, everything was top quality and served with care.
What really made the day unforgettable was the incredible team, especially Nadia and Jordan. They were so professional, friendly, and completely on top of everything – nothing was too much trouble. They made sure every detail ran smoothly and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Their calm and positive energy made all the difference and helped create such a relaxed, joyful atmosphere.

A Wonderdul Wedding at the Woodman Inn
We had our wedding day at the Woodman Inn on the 8th March, 2025 and had a fantastic day. The venue itself was presented beautifully, and nothing was too much trouble for the team. They listened to what we wanted and were flexible with our requests – such as allowing us to have our own singer, crisp wall and sweet trolley, which they were kind enough to set up for us.
The whole day was a success from start to finish and ran smoothly. The service was fantastic, and the food was well received by everyone. Especially the lamb! We already knew the surroundings were beautiful, but on the day everything was perfect.
Special thanks go to Nadia, alongside Jordon and Ben, who, with the rest of the staff, made everyone feel very welcome.

A very special place!
How to find the words to describe such an amazing place?
We already knew we loved the woodman after attending a wedding ourselves here some years earlier.
We first met Jordan (the manager) at a wedding fayre we attended. He was warm, friendly and down to earth and straight away it felt like we were talking to a friend.
Before the wedding any queries were replied to promptly and helpfully both over the phone and via email.
On the day I had no doubts that Jordan and his team would have everything under control and I wasn’t wrong in the slightest. The team went absolutely above and beyond to make sure everything went perfectly! Loads of guests have since commented on what an amazing venue it was and how lovely the food was- the beef in particular!
We got married in the garden room and the marquee itself looked absolutely stunning.
We honestly can’t recommend the Woodman enough if you are thinking of getting married here- do it!

Most perfect day
We are beyond grateful for everything the venue did for us, everything was perfect and they couldn't have done anymore for us to make our day special and stress free. The food was absolutely gorgeous and we received so many compliments from guests regarding the food. The venue is just stunning and nothing was too much trouble and we cannot thank them enough for helping our day be more perfect than we could have ever imagined. -

We would like to say the biggest thank you to the team at The Woodman for making our wedding dreams come true! ✨️🤎 You provided us with the most magical setting and our day was just perfect from start to finish! You really listened to what we wanted and absolutely nailed our overall vision and the fun and relaxed vibe we wanted for the day! You fully embraced us and our crazy little tribe, even when we were running around in the mud in our wellies!
