My husband and I (and the dog) cannot thank the management and event staff of The Woodman Inn enough for helping us create a wedding day that was everything we had wished for and more.
From our first meeting we felt like our vision of the day was possible and they helped with every stage of the planning. Everything was fully explained and laid out with no hidden extra costs. They were incredibly flexible and accommodated any changes along the way, even when last minute.
Both Jordan and Nadia were welcoming and friendly at every meeting and we felt like every last detail was taken care of. Nothing we asked for or suggested ever felt too much (even burying a sausage the night before!) and from start to finish was well planned, organised and completely stress free, leaving us to fully enjoy the best day of our lives.
The venue is truly beautiful and the grounds were the perfect backdrop for our outdoor ceremony thanks to the good weather. We had our wedding breakfast and reception in the garden room with drinks served in the gorgeous orangery. It really is the perfect space, even with our intimate number of guests it felt vibrant and full.
Most of our guests occupied the hotel with great reviews from everyone and the bridal party used the getting ready room with breakfast and prosecco provided for a fun and stress free build up. The food served during the day including canapes, wedding breakfast and reception was out of this world, and carefully catered for those with special dietary requirements.
We honestly cannot thank them enough for everything they did and for the memories that will last a lifetime! -

We honestly couldn’t recommend The Woodman Inn enough. From our spontaneous first visit, my many emails, planning meetings, 6am texts on our wedding morning, right the way through our perfect day Nadia, Jordan and the team couldn’t do enough for us. The venue and surroundings are simply stunning, the food was amazing, we are so glad we decided on a bbq on what felt like the hottest day of the year. The whole team throughout the day were fantastic. Everything ran smoothly and nothing was ever too much trouble for any of the staff. Nadia made me feel at ease and made our wedding morning as stress free as possible even when it started raining at 6am. If we could have our day again we wouldn’t change a thing. 💛 -

Perfect wedding experience at the woodman inn
We had our wedding at The Woodman Inn and it was honestly one of the most incredible experiences of our lives. From the moment we first visited, we felt completely at ease, and on the day itself everything exceeded our expectations in every possible way.
Nadia was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. She was super attentive, always quick to respond, and made sure every detail was thought through so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. On the wedding day itself she was calm, organised, and constantly one step ahead, which made such a difference and allowed us to just enjoy every moment.
The entire team were just perfect — friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. Every member of staff made us and our guests feel so welcome, and the service throughout the day was seamless.
The venue itself is breathtaking. The character of the inn combined with the surrounding woodland creates such a unique and magical atmosphere. It felt intimate, romantic, and completely special, especially with the natural beauty of the setting around us. So many of our guests commented on how stunning it was.
Overall, we honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more. It was everything we dreamed of and more, and we will always be so grateful to Nadia and the team for making our day so unforgettable.The Woodman Inn's reply:

Amazing Wedding
We had our wedding at The Woodman Inn, and it was nothing short of perfect. From start to finish, the whole day ran seamlessly, and we couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful setting. The weather was amazing, which made the charming surroundings feel even more magical.
The food was absolutely outstanding — our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was! Every course was beautifully presented and full of flavour, adding something truly special to the day. That sticky toffee pudding was just perfection!!
The team at The Woodman Inn were exceptional, a special mention to Nadia, nothing was too much effort for her. They were all attentive, organised, and genuinely kind, they made sure everything flowed effortlessly so we could simply relax and enjoy every moment.
The team were especially kind and generous to our dog, giving him treats and making sure he was well looked after. The dog friendly rooms meant he was able to stay with us as well as our guests being able to bring their dogs also which meant they were able to stay for the whole wedding.
We’re so grateful to The Woodman Inn for giving us the most wonderful wedding day. It was everything we hoped for and more. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a stunning venue with incredible service and unforgettable food.The Woodman Inn's reply:
