The most perfect day

We honestly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue than The Woodman Inn for our wedding. From start to finish, the entire experience was incredible, and it truly gave us the most special day of our lives.

A huge part of that was down to Nadia, our wedding coordinator, who is quite simply amazing. From the very beginning, she explained the entire process so clearly and made everything feel manageable and stress-free. No question was ever too small—she was always on hand to help, reassure us, and calm any nerves we had along the way. On the day itself, she was absolutely everywhere, quietly making sure everything ran smoothly and that we were taken care of. You could genuinely see how much she cared about us having the best possible day, and that meant the world to us.

The venue itself is just stunning. We had our wedding in the Garden Room, which was both spacious and beautifully presented—so many of our guests commented on how gorgeous it was. It created the perfect atmosphere for both the ceremony and the celebration. The evening reception was equally fantastic and flowed so seamlessly from the day.

The food deserves a special mention because it was exceptional. So many of our guests have said it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding, which says it all. It really elevated the whole experience and was something people are still talking about.

Another huge bonus is the accommodation. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, and being able to reserve them for our guests the night before and the night of the wedding made everything so convenient and relaxed. It really helped turn the whole occasion into a full experience rather than just a single day.

We also have to mention Jordan, who was just incredible. He was so friendly, warm, and genuinely caring, and he made us feel completely looked after—especially the morning after the wedding when he went above and beyond to make sure we were okay and had everything we needed.

Overall, we cannot recommend The Woodman Inn highly enough. The team went above and beyond in every possible way, and we are so grateful for everything they did to make our wedding day so perfect. Couldn't recommend The Woodman enough, thank you all!

Perfect wedding experience at the woodman inn

We had our wedding at The Woodman Inn and it was honestly one of the most incredible experiences of our lives. From the moment we first visited, we felt completely at ease, and on the day itself everything exceeded our expectations in every possible way.

Nadia was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. She was super attentive, always quick to respond, and made sure every detail was thought through so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. On the wedding day itself she was calm, organised, and constantly one step ahead, which made such a difference and allowed us to just enjoy every moment.

The entire team were just perfect — friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. Every member of staff made us and our guests feel so welcome, and the service throughout the day was seamless.

The venue itself is breathtaking. The character of the inn combined with the surrounding woodland creates such a unique and magical atmosphere. It felt intimate, romantic, and completely special, especially with the natural beauty of the setting around us. So many of our guests commented on how stunning it was.

Overall, we honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more. It was everything we dreamed of and more, and we will always be so grateful to Nadia and the team for making our day so unforgettable.

Just the loveliest place with the most wonderful people

The Woodman Inn, was absolutely perfect and made our wedding day feel so incredibly personal and special. From the moment we started planning, nothing ever felt too much trouble, and every detail was handled with so much care. Nadia and Jordan were truly amazing — so kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day exactly what we wanted. They went above and beyond in every way and made the whole experience completely stress-free. We felt so looked after from start to finish, and we honestly couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate our wedding.

Amazing Wedding

We had our wedding at The Woodman Inn, and it was nothing short of perfect. From start to finish, the whole day ran seamlessly, and we couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful setting. The weather was amazing, which made the charming surroundings feel even more magical.

The food was absolutely outstanding — our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was! Every course was beautifully presented and full of flavour, adding something truly special to the day. That sticky toffee pudding was just perfection!!

The team at The Woodman Inn were exceptional, a special mention to Nadia, nothing was too much effort for her. They were all attentive, organised, and genuinely kind, they made sure everything flowed effortlessly so we could simply relax and enjoy every moment.

The team were especially kind and generous to our dog, giving him treats and making sure he was well looked after. The dog friendly rooms meant he was able to stay with us as well as our guests being able to bring their dogs also which meant they were able to stay for the whole wedding.

We’re so grateful to The Woodman Inn for giving us the most wonderful wedding day. It was everything we hoped for and more. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a stunning venue with incredible service and unforgettable food.

Wonderful country wedding

Beautiful country setting. We wanted an intimate evening wedding with close family and friends and we didn’t want anything formal. The team at the woodman enabled us to plan our day, the way we wanted it. We chose to have street style food ( mini fish and chips and pork slider). Portions were generous, food delicious and hot. Well stocked bar. In house DJ Richard was great and played all the things we wanted. We were able to dress the room ourselves just as we had wanted. All in all a fabulous night. All our friends and family thought the venue and accommodation was lovely. Would highly recommend.

Wedding Venue

We viewed many different wedding venues in and around the area, Nadia & the team made us feel very welcome & relaxed when we decided on The Woodman Inn. They were professional, friendly and understood all the stress & hard work that goes into planning a wedding. Every question we had was answered & resolved straight away. We honestly could not recommend them enough. They catered to every little detail & went above & beyond for us. The day was amazing from start to finish and everything ran smoothly with the help of the team. All our guests have commented how amazing the day was, the food, the venue, the decor everything. Thank you so much to everybody & the woodman we could not recommend you enough.

Myself and Tom cannot put into words just how grateful we are to the Woodman team for hosting our wedding!
From starting the wedding planning process, both Nadia and Jordan were there to answer any questions we had and support with anything we needed. They helped and guided us with decisions and we came away from every meeting feeling more at ease as every request was put into place!
A huge shout out to Nadia who was so amazing on the day, checking in on both myself and Tom, making the day run so smoothly, coordinating everyone and setting up the most beautiful ceremony and wedding breakfast rooms! She prepared everything with so much care and she is just so incredible in her role.
To the Woodman team, the service throughout the day was amazing, the food was delicious and we had so many comments from our guests saying the same.

Wonderful!

We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding than The Woodman Inn. It is the most beautiful venue, in an incredibly beautiful setting. From the moment we saw it, we knew we had to get married there.

The entire team at The Woodman Inn went above and beyond to make sure our day was seamless. They were attentive, professional, and genuinely cared about every little detail. Nothing ever felt too much trouble, and their calm, friendly presence made the whole process stress-free. Nadia & Jordan in particular were fantastic, on both the day and during the entire planning process. They were incredibly warm & always there to answer any question I had and truly listened to everything that we wanted.

On the day itself, everything flowed effortlessly – the food was outstanding, which was commented on my all our guests! The service was impeccable, and the space transformed into something even more stunning than we’d envisioned. It felt personal, intimate, and truly unforgettable.

We are so grateful to The Woodman Inn for giving us the wedding day we had always imagined. We would recommend them a thousand times over!
