As someone who works in the wedding industry myself, we had high expectations of service, and Lera was great and extremely helpful throughout our planning process. On the wedding day she was joyous and a pleasure to be around. Lera was fantastic and helped us through every aspect of planning our wedding and made our day so special. It was truly perfect and I couldn't have asked for anything better. The food was incredible and all our guests complimented the food and venue.Ventnor Botanic Garden's reply:

Bethany Sent on 17/11/2024Amazing Winter Wedding Venue!
We fell in love with the venue before we even saw it in person, and when we could visit we knew it was perfect for what we wanted.
During the course of planning our wedding, VBG were experiencing a change in their wedding coordination team. This meant we had 3 different wedding coordinators across the planning process, however our final coordinator Lera was PHENOMENAL. She took charge of the process and ensured all of my very specific questions were answered in detail.
On the day, Lera was fantastic, and made sure everything ran without a hitch! After the wedding day was over, my MOH informed me that the music I had provided for the ceremony hadn't worked, but Lera had sorted it all without raising any concerns, and it ran so smoothly my husband and I didn't even notice!
The food provided by their on-site chef was exceptional - we asked for a custom menu, using none of the sample menus, and they were able to cater for this! We had individual strawberry trifles for pudding, and were particularly impressed with the presentation in mason jars, not to mention the amazing flavours they had.
VBG allow you to decorate the venue however you like, and are on hand to support with this. We worked with external suppliers and Lera coordinated with them to arrange arrival times and delivery locations. The venue is also ideal for photographs - we had a November Wedding and we were still able to take pictures outside.
We could not recommend this venue more, as we really did have the best day of our lives!Ventnor Botanic Garden's reply:

As soon as we walked around the gardens we knew we wanted our wedding at Ventnor Botancial Gardens! We could imagine how the day flowed and all our guests there, perfect for kids also. It truly was the best day, and with accommodation near by it made it the perfect location to get ready and walk down to the venue. Would highly recommend this venue not only for the looks and environment but for the staff there. Anthony, our wedding planner, was brilliant at answering any questions we had and arranging the whole day. All the staff behind the bar and in the kitchens also did a fab job! We come each year to celebrate our special day that we had there. -

Perfect wedding for us
We had an amazing wedding here, we were from the mainland and the communication was pretty good, mostly emails but we did have phone calls aswell and they were really responsive.
Antony was brilliant and so accommodating. We did change our guest numbers and they were absolutely fine with it.
The food was amazing and the mocktail was divine.
It did rain on our day but the view was still so beautiful even in the rain! We got some fabulous pictures especially through the tunnel which we got as much access to as we wanted.
Amazing wedding! -

We couldn't have been more delighted with our wedding experience at the Ventnor Botanical Garden.
Not only was the venue incredibly beautiful, but the wedding team led by Anthony, made the event a pleasure to organize, even from our hometown of Sydney (Australia!)
In particular, Anthony went out of his way to ensure we all had the most perfect day. He was so relaxed about everything, which enables us to relax and enjoy our day.
Additionally access and management of suppliers was straightforward and we had plenty of time in advance of the event to decorate the marquee and gardens as we wanted.
Could not recommend more highly. Thank you Anthony and team. We had the very best day! -

Picture Perfect Day
We had the best day for our wedding, the weather was gorgeous and the gardens were just amazing. We had a ‘garden party’ vibe for the day and it was just so easy and relaxed. No stresses on the day and all the staff were so helpful and on hand for everything. -
