I first red about The Reid Rooms on this website and decided to check it out after coming across many great reviews. We signed up for a wedding fare and visited this venue in person. The Reid Rooms is a beautiful rustic style place surrounded by beautiful greenery. It has everything that you can possibly need on your wedding day... ceremony room, dining area, dance floor, bar, courtyard and a farmhouse. Corrine, who showed us around was very helpful, answered all our questions and penciled our date in her diary. We did not need to look any further as we knew that we found the right place. Today, two weeks after our wedding I stand by my words. This venue is super flexible and Corrine was more than helpful throughout the whole planning process, taking for considerations all our suggestions and ideas. We were allowed to decorate the venue the day before and they were flexible with arrival time to the farmhouse as I had guests from overseas. A week before we met our wedding coordinator Hannah who made sure that on the day everything ran smoothly and according to plan! Our wedding day was perfect! Our guests loved the venue just as much as we did!
So if you consider booking venue in Essex this is the right place to go! I can assure you that you will be taken care of and the team will make sure that you have literally the best day of your life!

We booked The Reid Rooms two years ago and managed to see the venue a couple of times over this period. Each time they showcased how beautiful and well equipped the venue was. We had a smaller wedding (40 day and 55 evening) and the venue worked really well for us. A massive shout out to Angie who coordinated on the day and helped ensure the day ran smoothly! -

We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding than the Reid Rooms.
It's such a beautiful and quiet venue that you can't help feel calm and relaxed as soon as you walk onto the property which even our guests commented on. It has such a homey atmosphere to the place which makes you feel instantly comfortable and the courtyard is an absolutely stunning place for photos with its 'New Orleans-esque' balcony and water fountain.
All of the staff are super friendly and they make you feel like your wedding day is as important to them as it is to you. Lucy, our wedding coordinator, was so helpful and put us completely at ease that we could have the wedding we wanted within our budget as there was so much flexibility with what we could do.
The farmhouse is cosy and welcoming to stay in after an amazing / chaotic day; it felt like we were on holiday! Having breakfast with the family the next day really made those last moments at the venue special. -

From the first viewing we had to the day after the wedding, it has been amazing. Had so many questions and Corrine was very patient with me. At the rehearsal & on the day Lucy was outstanding!! The service, venue, people, atmosphere & accommodation was just amazing!!
Thank you all so much!! I would definitely recommend this place. The first venue we viewed and we fell in love and booked our special day. It was ment to be!! ❤️❤️❤️ -

We had a wonderful wedding day at The Reid Rooms. All of our guests commented on how lovely the venue was and it had so many pretty areas for photos. In particular the farmhouse for our guests staying over night was a hit.
The team were so friendly and helpful, especially Corinne who was so responsive to our questions, and Stephanie who kept everything running smoothly on the day.
We'd definitely recommend The Reid Rooms to anyone looking for a flexible venue for their special day. -

We had our wedding at the Reid Rooms on 16.02.25 and used the house on the premises.
The team at the Reid Rooms were so responsive and always very helpful. Steph was available on the day of the wedding and she was fantastic. She was so kind and trying to keep me relaxed!
The day ran so smoothly so I can’t thank the team enough
We stayed in the house which was lovely, was so nice to have somewhere to get ready with my bridal party.
The place is beautiful and exactly how we always thought our wedding would be

We couldn’t have been happier with our wedding breakfast and reception at the Reid rooms on the 31st January. It was the first, and only venue we looked at, we loved it immediately and we booked a date in at the end of our first viewing! It’s a stunning venue, lovely grounds and covered with fairy lights, as well as cosy elements like the lounge and fireplace which was perfect for our winter wedding. The staff were brilliant from day one too, the venue is great, as its super flexible when it comes to using your own suppliers, and Claire, our co-ordinator was fantastic at the rehearsal and on the day ensuring everything went smoothly, she was everywhere!
Thank you to the Reid Rooms for helping us have a perfect wedding day!

Would highly recommend the Reid Rooms, they were fantastic from the first contact to the last email ,the venue was perfect for us, the flexibility of the different areas worked very well for our wedding with different generations attending, and having the house was so lovely to get all my family together, before and after the wedding, Sue the house keeper looked after us in the house and gave us a fantastic breakfast the next day, and special mention to Stephanie who couldn't do enough for us on the day

we can't recommend Reid rooms enough! we wanted a venue we could completely make our own, and Corinne helped us do that right from the start.
All staff were amazing and friendly, the farmhouse was beautiful and the ceremony room was perfect.
They even sourced vegan tequila rose and baileys for us! -
