Our stay at the Old Course Hotel was truly unforgettable. We chose the hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and from start to finish, everything was simply perfect.
The team went above and beyond to make our day special. Every detail was taken care of, the service was exceptional, and everyone we met was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely caring. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
What made the experience so remarkable was that they didn't just deliver excellent hospitality, they added that extra spark that turned a wonderful day into a magical memory we will cherish forever.
Thank you to the entire team for making our anniversary so special. We cannot wait to return to our beloved St Andrews and stay with you again. -

5 Star Venue
If you're looking for a venue with stunning views, exceptional food and quality service then look no further than the newly renovated Old Course Hotel. We had our wedding there in February this year and had the most amazing weekend. Both Jessica and Laura are fantastic and will make sure that they bring your vision to life. Our guests still talk about the amazing food (beef wellington canape, being a particular highlight!) In fact, the day you get to come and choose your wedding breakfast is a whole experience in itself.
We have visited the Old Course on many occasions over the years and always received a warm welcome but all staff really did go above and beyond for our wedding weekend adding many personal touches to make us and our guests feel special.
I just wish we could do it all again! -

Wedding Day
I got married here last September and I had the most beautiful day with the help of the Old Course. Jessica was my wedding planner she was very helpful and kept me right. She gave me opinions on things I wasn't sure about helped me pick the meals for my guests. She was extremely helpful and I'm very thankful for her. The hotel is absolutely beautiful inside and out the views are out of this world. The staff on the wedding day was very nice and helped make the day go smoothly. I had my dream wedding thanks to the Old Course. -

Old Course Hotel: a fairytale venue
We couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect backdrop for our wedding reception than the Old Course Hotel. From the moment our guests arrived to the last dance, every detail was handled with warmth and precision. The venue gave the whole evening a magical vibe. We were an international couple and our guests loved staying here too. If you’re picturing where to say “I do” and celebrate after, this is an amazing venue! -

We had 100 guests fly over from the US for our destination wedding at The Old Course Hotel. The entire experience was magical and we could not have asked for a better venue! Many guests commented on the exemplary service and that this was one of the nicest hotels they have ever stayed at. The hotel did a great job coordinating multiple events over several days as part of our wedding celebration. We highly recommend this venue for anyone considering a destination wedding and can't wait to stay there again in the future! -

From the moment we first contacted the Old Course Hotel, we knew we had made the right decision. We travelled from outside the area for our intimate wedding with just six guests, and despite its size, we were made to feel just as important as any larger celebration.
Jess, our wedding coordinator, was exceptional. She guided us through the planning process with the perfect balance of communication, making everything feel straightforward and stress-free. We didn't have a detailed plan for how the day would run, but Jess did, and that allowed us to simply relax and enjoy every moment.
On the day itself, everything happened so effortlessly that we barely noticed how much work was going on behind the scenes. Every member of the team was warm, professional and genuinely invested in making our wedding feel special. We never had to ask what was happening next or worry about any of the details—they had everything completely under control.
Looking back, what stands out most is how calm and seamless the whole experience felt. We were able to be fully present with each other and our family because we knew we were in such capable hands.
If you're considering the Old Course Hotel for your wedding, I honestly couldn't recommend it more highly. The venue is beautiful, but it's the people who make it truly unforgettable. -

We eloped and married at The Old Course Hotel in St Andrews. It was magical. From the fun dinner the night before at The Jigger Inn, to the exquisite afternoon tea to the groom playing golf at The Dukes on the morning of the wedding. The wedding planner at The Old Course ensured our wedding was beautiful, the decorations were in place and the whole team made us feel so special. Our wedding was tiny but every last detail was thought of down to the decoration of our honeymoon room with rose petals including a bottle of fine champagne. If you’re looking for a wedding venue, choose The Old Course. It’s five star luxury with the feeling of family. -

We only toured one venue because I knew post meeting with the Old Course that it was the place for us. The staff was so wonderful (adored Jess Paton!), the venue was spectacular. They made everything so seamless and easy leading up to the wedding and on the day of. EVERYONE commented on how good the food was and how professional the staff was. It was the best wedding ever and that wouldn't have been possible without the Old Course. We did the ceremony and reception at the Old Course and loved how easy it was and how much our guests loved getting to enjoy the views and lovely venue. We'll go back every year for our anniversary if we can! -

We had our wedding at the Old Course Hotel on 2nd August 2025, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. From the moment we booked, the team were attentive, professional, and genuinely invested in making our wedding everything we had hoped for. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble – every detail was handled with such care, and their organisation made the whole process so much easier and more enjoyable.
On the day itself, the service was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to look after us and our guests: so many people commented on how seamless everything felt. The food was exceptional, and the setting speaks for itself; the views over the Old Course and West Sands made for the most spectacular backdrop.
What stood out most to us was the warmth and professionalism of the entire team. We felt completely supported and reassured throughout the planning and on the day, which meant we could relax and truly enjoy ourselves. It’s clear they genuinely care about every couple’s experience, and that makes all the difference.
