Beyond words….just incredible, perfect & even more than we had hoped!
WOW. WOW. WOW!!!
The Oakhouse, its staff, the food and the location fulfilled our dreams and beyond and gave us the most perfect wedding day that we will treasure the memories forever.
From the moment we started planning our wedding with Bri nothing was too much trouble. She helped us put our dreams into reality. With loads of emails, requests and suggestions she helped make our day personal, unique and exactly what we wanted.
On the day the staff worked so hard and Nisha created the oak room from a beautiful ceremony room to a perfect venue for our wedding breakfast and then to a perfect party room. She did everything we wanted and more and made the day run so smoothly.
Along with Tracey and Aaron they did the most amazing job of looking after us all with friendliness and professionalism throughout the whole day.
The food was soooo delicious and presented so beautifully. Kelly is an absolute asset and cooks the most amazing food!! It couldn’t have been more perfect.
The Oak was just the most perfect venue for our wedding. It was so lovely to have exclusive use, it was cosy yet spacious and truly fulfilled all our expectations and dreams. Two months later we are still buzzing from our perfect day.

What a marvellous day.
From the first visit to the Oakhouse we felt welcomed, and at easy by the manager and by Bri the planner. Bri was out of this world going above and beyond with all the planning and arrangements right up to the day of our wedding, answering our problems and questions with rapid response, despite the time of day or night. The food was great, staff were wonderful and Kellie, who was in charge on the day was incredible, even when problems arose (our mess up) Kellie and her crew were great in fixing it without any qualms. I would highly recommend the Oakhouse Hotel as a venue to hold a party, engagement or wedding . All I can say is the stress was taken out at the drop of a hat, our day flowed perfectly, and we smiled and laughed all day. Only downside was the day went so quickly as we had the most wonderful wedding, as my husband said “ it was the best day of his life”. The venue is situated in a beautiful picturesque village, we would love to come back and celebrate our wedding on our Anniversary every year. -

We couldn’t have chosen a better venue if we’d tried! Everything was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were absolutely amazing. From Bri who organised everything pre wedding to Alex and Kelly who seriously could not have been better on the day. The hotel has loads of character and was perfect for us. The rooms we stayed in were gorgeous and all our family and friends loved the hotel. Everyone had the absolute best time and I have no doubt it was down to the amazing staff.
