The most magical day, the most magical venue.
There are not enough words to describe how special and magical The Oak Barn Frame Farm is.
Chrystelle, Deana and Tim are amazing and became our new best friends over the year before our big day. They are fully invested in making your day perfect. Nothing was too much for them.
We were lucky enough to have the venue for 3 days (which we highly recommend!) The setting, the weather the different options for spaces was incredible. We loved every single moment and now its over we miss them all! We will be returning for a stay to enjoy those beautiful grounds again.

The Oak Barn is an absolutely stunning venue and such a fundamental part of us having an even better wedding weekend than we expected. From the first minute it was immediately clear this was the place for us and we would heartily recommend to others.
Not only is it a beautiful, tranquil setting with lots of great spots for photos (including many sheep!), it offers so much flexibility. There are many different spaces you can make your own, allowing guests to move about the venue trhoughout the day, and it's possible to quickly adapt depending on the weather.
Critically for us, unlike many venues we visited, which felt like conveyor belts, the Oak Barn enabled such a personal wedding. From decorating it our way, to bringing in our own wine without corkage, to having goats on site for the day, there was so much scope to make this our own very special time.
That said, it's worth noting the flexibility means more work for you- you'll need to liase with lots of suppliers for things like tables and chairs, food and drink, and the DJ, which might be part of the package at other venues. But the work was so worth it, and made much smoother by the brilliant venue team. Chrystelle and colleagues were so helpful throughout the year of planning, super quick to respond to emails, willing to accomodate our ideas wherever they could, and always very friendly.
Finally, having the venue for the whole weekend (Fri noon - Sunday noon) was such an added bonus, allowing us to enjoy even more quality time with our wedding party.

It was such an honour to host your multi-cultural (and multi-day!) wedding at the farm a couple of weeks ago. The blend of Scottish vibes with French elegance was truly something special. We loved how you embraced the flexibility of the farm and our three barns to bring your exact vision to life.
And yes, for the very first time we had goats arriving as special guests! Such a fun surprise and a moment none of us will forget (especially Tatty!). Your Ceilidh band was a huge success, and we’re so delighted that you managed to have everything you wanted here at the farm, right down to the wine from Tatty’s nan’s own vineyard, which was the most incredible personal touch.

From the moment we booked, the entire team at Oak Barn were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. Communication was always easy and efficient getting in touch was never an issue.
What really stood out was the personal touch they added throughout the planning process. We truly felt at home and well looked after. The on-site accommodation was both comfortable and convenient, making everything even more relaxed for us and our guests.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning, a perfect countryside setting that matched everything we had hoped for in a wedding. On the big day, everything ran smoothly thanks to the amazing team. They coordinated seamlessly with our suppliers and took a lot of the stress off our shoulders. Chrystelle helped to create our day with site visits and emails and then was there on the day helping everything to run smoothly- she was so kind and helpful and we were so lucky to have her!
We were so impressed and grateful for all their hard work and support. We’ll definitely be revisiting to relive and remember our very special day.

We held our wedding at the Oak Barn on Easter Sunday this year. We can't express how grateful we are to Chrystelle, Tim and Deana for our incredible day. From the moment we saw the venue for the first time we knew it was the one for us - even though we kept coming back for more visits! We loved every step of working together with them. The care and attention to detail was phenomenal. Nothing was too much trouble to make sure we had a stress-free day. The accommodation is stunning and made a huge difference for us to have some of our special guests on-site. We mostly used preferred suppliers and can not fault a single one of one, everything was completely impeccable. We had endless compliments about the venue, caterers, flowers and all the entertainment the team helped us to arrange. We want to do it all again and we hope we'll be back for another celebration!

Perfection!
We recently had our wedding at Oak Barn. Oak Barn is a very special place, it is beautiful with stunning indoor and outdoor spaces. The whole day ran seamlessly and every detail was thought of, a true testament to the care and dedication from the team behind the scenes.

We had an all round excellent experience with The Oak Barn for our wedding and would strongly recommend. The team were responsive throughout and worked very closely with the caterers to coordinate everything on the day. The venue is beautiful and also enabled us to manage some surprise showers. I'd also recommend the onsite accommodation, which we initially thought was more on the expensive side, but turned out to be good value; enabling our families to be very close and in smart/modern/clean digs.The Oak Barn, Frame Farm's reply:

We had our wedding in October 2024 at the Oak Barn Frame Farm and we couldn’t have picked a more perfect venue! From the moment we looked around the barn, we both knew it was the place for us. Having 3 barns meant we were able to keep our 50 guests entertained and still have beautiful spaces. We weren’t sure what to expect with dry-hire, but the barn is so beautiful it could be kept minimal if you’re on a budget, but being able to personalise it to how we wanted it made it extra special for us. The open fields, waterfall and sheep meant we got some amazing photos (from our photographer Matt Birchall) as well as the best memories. Chrystelle couldn’t have been more helpful, from her communication in planning, to the materials provided in the run up to the wedding, and her excellent organisation on the day meaning our wedding ran seamlessly and we didn’t have to worry about anything. The list of trusted suppliers was great too, and we used quite a few who were also great. The accommodation on site was an added bonus for us and family, and all of our friends and family commented on what a perfect venue we’d chosen. Being environmentally focused was also a huge bonus for us, as it really aligned with our values. Thank you to all at the Oak Barn for giving us the happiest day!The Oak Barn, Frame Farm's reply:

Best wedding venue ever!
The best choice we made was having our wedding at the oak barn frame farm! Not only is the space gorgeous, but it's eco friendly, has lots of different options depending on preference and weather, and they have beautiful cottages for family and close friends to stay close and the option to spend the whole weekend at the farm! It was exactly what we were looking for! And the best part was the support! Chrystelle was amazing!! She helped us through the whole planning process and gave us the invaluable list of suppliers( who were all amazing!). She is such a professional and a wonderful person! She really went above and beyond making sure we had the best day (weekend) of our lives! Couldn't recommend this place more!
