Me and my husband got married here on the 20th June 2026 & when I say we couldn’t have asked for better wow do I mean it. We dealt with Kate from there Monastery and for 18 months she listened to my every phone call, guided me through every single tiny little detail and helped me when I was ranting and raving on the build up towards the wedding! The Monastery was just perfect on the day, everything was done with such care and quality. Easily the best value for money we spent on the wedding & we cannot thank Kate & the team more!

We really cannot sum up our experience of having our Wedding at The Monastery, as it was honestly the most amazing day. Kate, our coordinator, was unreal through the organisation of planning, updates throughout the months leading up to it and then ensuring on the day that both myself and my wife had an unforgettable wedding! Kate’s attention to detail is unlike no other and really made our experience of The Monastery unforgettable, as she remembered details of what we wanted from our initial consultation meeting and when meeting with our wedding dresser, made sure that our views and opinions were heard. She contacted our suppliers and made sure everything rang smoothly, which is perfect when it comes to trying not to stress about everything.
We would recommend EVERYONE to choose The Monastery as your venue for your special day as the scenery outside and character of The Monastery itself was honestly beautiful, we cannot stop looking at our photos. Special shoutout the Neil and Glen, who in the evening made sure that everything went perfect, even if we did move up our schedule!
Choose this venue - they will make sure your wedding is as unforgettable as our was. We wish we could do it all again!

Beautiful venue, Great food, excellent staff
We got married at the Monastery in Aug 2024. We planned the wedding in 6 months so we managed to get a “short notice” date from the venue which was discounted and it was also a Sunday so further discounts. I couldn’t believe we managed to afford such a grand venue but I am very pleased that the options were there. The catering at the venue was fantastic! The canapés were so delicious (we tried these at the open day which I would strongly recommend. We found our baker there too). The meals were varied and super tasty.
Chloe was our wedding coordinator and she patiently guided us through the whole process. We had timely meetings to provide details of what we’d envisioned so nothing was rushed. But still they accommodated for some last minute changes (one or two extra guests etc). When she was away, she had told us who to be in touch with in advance so there were no disruptions.
I had some minor feedback for Chloe after the event which she took on happily. That tells me that even though she was already fantastic, she is positive about improving the quality of events there.
The staff perfected the balance of being there for everything we needed but also being stealthy to let us enjoy friends and family.
It was a wonderful experience overall. -

My wife did a lot of the groundwork and organising truth be told so I did not know where to hold my expectations but the day itself exceeded them massively. We had regular emails separately with our organiser Katy and we had group meetings on site. I was able to ask any questions I had easily and have them answered hastily on my own and within meetings/group emails with my wife. The day itself was perfect as I arrived alone with my groomsmen and was put at ease with everything instantly when walking through the door. -

We got married at the monastery July 2025 and we had the best experience from start to finish. We had the pleasure of working with Chloe Brookes, there’s nothing she couldn’t do for us. From the planning stages right through to the wedding day she was always there when we needed her and made everything go as smoothly as possible. I would highly recommend getting married at the monastery the building is amazing, we only ever viewed this venue and knew it was the one. All the background staff were amazing on the day and would always make sure you had everything you needed. If you have the pleasure of working with Chloe your day will be perfect, can’t recommend her enough. -

We had the most amazing day renewing our vows in August.
The venue was stunning and really wowed our guests, who have since been back to visit The Monastery. The whole process from the day we enquired to booking to the big day itself was so simple and stress free. Chloe was amazing, her communication was friendly, regular and crystal clear, any requests from us were dealt with very professionally and nothing was too much trouble. On the actual day the staff were all fantastic and went above and beyond to ensure every guest was welcomed. We used vendors from a list Chloe had provided and we could not have asked for more, the decor, DJ and food were everything we wanted and more. We also had a live band and Chloe took care of all the communication with the band and vendors taking all the stress and pressure from us. We found The Monastery an amazing venue for a wedding/vow renewal and would highly recommend it. -

I can’t praise Chloe and everyone at the Monastery enough. They were beyond superb. The setting was perfect. The staff were fabulous. The food was divine. Everyone and everything was simply awesome and utterly amazing. Everything…absolutely EVERYTHING was more than we could have imagined. And it was all down to the incredible team at the Monastery. They made magic come true for us on our wedding day. -

Beautiful venue and experience!
We had such an amazing experience at the Monastery for our wedding. The venue was perfect with more than enough space for our external vendors and activities. The staff were great and the communication/ organisation in the lead up and on the day was more than what we could have imagined!
Our wedding coordinator Kate was fantastic and did everything she could to ensure our wedding day was perfect and ran smoothly.
We will be forever grateful to Kate and her team. -
