Stunning Venue with Exceptional Service
From the minute we viewed the hotel to the day after the wedding itself, Vicky and Emily with their wedding team were outstanding. Any questions or requests we had were quickly answered and they did everything they could to help make our wedding perfect. They helped me organise with other suppliers and were very happy to cater around them as well. From having the breakfast room set up early to allow me to decorate it myself, helping me layout my flowers, and even allowing my family to bring in a garden arbour and moving it in place for us as decoration!
They helped us to personalise our wedding meal catering for people with specific needs and allergens, helped us to organise specific rooms ( people needing ground floor rooms or cots etc).
On the wedding morning itself I felt treated like royalty enjoying a beautiful breakfast buffet in the private library where we were able to get ready.
When my husband and I returned after our church ceremony Emily greeted us at the car door with glasses of prosecco and announcing our arrival to our guests!
She was on hand with whatever we needed all day and even had a pizza from our evening food saved and sent to our room with a suprise bottle of prosecco for us at the end of the night making us feel truly spoilt.
We cannot recommend The Moat House enough and are extremely excited to return on our 1 year anniversary. -

My partner and I would not have changed a single thing about our small wedding. We started planning our wedding in September for the December. Emily and the team went above and beyond for us to make sure that our day was perfectly planned. No matter what the problem, they were able to find solutions and no request was too much for them! We only had 10 guests and the team made each and every guest feel welcome and were there for us throughout the day. Emily decorated the ceremony room for us on the day, creating an intimate and cozy feeling; exactly what we wanted.
The venue offered many different photo opportunities and being a dog friendly hotel meant we were allowed our dog with us on our special day!

The Moat House was a brilliant venue for our wedding. The location and hotel are wonderful and the staff exceptional, especially our wedding coordinator (Emily).
Would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone. -

We got married at The Moat House in September and cannot recommend the venue and Vicky and the team enough. From the day we first went to visit the venue everyone was really friendly, helpful and welcoming and we definitely got a good feeling about booking our wedding there.
Nothing was too much trouble for the team, and everything I asked for or wanted was fulfilled with a smile. Vicky in particular was just amazing both leading up to and on the day of the wedding, she made everything just perfect and we can’t thank her enough. We cannot recommend The Moat House enough. Vicky and the team have given us the best experience from day one, and we've been made to feel special throughout. Everything on the wedding day ran like clockwork, the food was delicious, the rooms were dressed beautifully, and the grounds are lovely for lots of photos to capture precious memories. Vicky worked her socks off from first thing in the morning, right through to late into the evening, making sure everything was perfect for us and our guests. Absolutely Amazing Wedding Day
From when we started planning our wedding in 2022 to our wedding day 6th July 2024 the service we had from The Wedding Team especially Emily and Vicky was second to non. The Moat House is such a beautiful wedding venue with a choice of reception rooms and the library to prepare in and of course the stunning grounds and lake.
Nothing is to much trouble for the staff they are so accommodating.
Emily was our coordinator and she kept the events going to perfection from start to finish.
The food was amazing. Plenty of rooms for guests.
We had alot of complements off our guests about the venue and the food being brilliant.
Get married at The Moat House and you will not be disappointed.The Moat House Hotel's reply:

We had our wedding here 2 weeks ago and I can not recommend this venue highly enough.
From day one Vicky and the wedding team made us feel special and could not do enough for us.
Emails returned within hours every time and invariably the answer was 'yes' to anything we asked. Every time we visited we were welcomed with smiles and drinks.
As for the actual day..... everything was perfect, care and consideration not just for us but extended to every guest we had.
I can't stop smiling thinking of our day, it was everything we wanted it to be from arriving the night before to leaving the day afterwards. I don't regret a single penny!

Was a bit apprehensive at first about having are wedding here but after all done we can fully say Vicky and the team knocked it out off the park, they couldn't do enough to make the day go so well and going that extra mile, can't say enough how much we and all the guests enjoyed the day,
