The Ward Wedding ❤️
We recently got married at The Maynard, and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish. From our initial enquiry about the wedding right through to the big day, everything couldn’t have gone any better.
The staff were incredible and genuinely couldn’t have done any more for us. They helped make our day so special and ensured everything ran perfectly. Lucy and Jess, in particular, were amazing and so attentive to us throughout the whole day.
We would definitely recommend the Twilight Package. It was absolutely perfect for what we wanted, and we received so many lovely compliments about the day and the venue.
A definite 5 stars from us for all the wonderful staff and the stunning venue. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day. ❤️ -

We honestly couldn’t recommend The Maynard enough as a wedding venue. From the moment we first visited, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding day.
The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with such a warm, cosy and romantic atmosphere. It was everything we wanted for our day and made the perfect setting for celebrating with our family and friends.
The whole team were amazing from start to finish. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and attentive, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. They helped everything run so smoothly on the day, which meant we could completely relax and enjoy ourselves without having to worry about anything.
Our wedding day was genuinely everything we could have hoped for, and The Maynard played such a huge part in making it so special. We have so many wonderful memories from the day and will always be incredibly grateful that we chose The Maynard as our wedding venue.
Thank you so much to everyone at The Maynard for helping us have the most amazing wedding day. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with a fantastic team! ❤️

We would recommend The Maynard to anyone and everyone.
All the staff was beyond amazing on our wedding day and the lead up. They all bent over backwards to make our day so perfect. A big shout out to Jess who was incredible!
Our getting ready room was amazing and we all had more than enough space for makeup and hair.
From our ceremony to our party everything flowed so well thanks to Jess keeping us on track.
Our food was amazing. We had a pianist in the garden which was perfect we didn’t see him arrive or leave.
The garden was absolutely beautiful aswel and the sun came out for us.
The bridal suite was out of this world!

Our perfect wedding day in our special place
Writing this review a little late, but wanted to properly sit down to express how amazing our wedding day was on the 1st May 2026. Zoe and the team truly made our day run so perfectly from start to finish. Zoe made us feel at ease throughout the planning process and didn’t matter how silly or big questions her responses were always very quick and nothing was a bother to them. We filled most of the hotel with our guests the night before and night of our wedding and all of our guests couldn’t speak highly enough of the staff and venue. The Maynard truly think about all the little details which made our experience so special and as any wedding day things cropped up but Zoe was straight on them and there were even things I wasn't aware of that were just taken care of which just made our day run so smoothly.
This truly was the best day for us and we can’t wait to come back and again just a thankyou to the Maynard and a special thanks to Zoe for making it all possible. -

From the moment we first got in touch to arrange a viewing, we felt completely at ease about booking The Maynard for our wedding day.
The venue is in an area that means so much to both me and my husband, so when we found it and realised it was everything we were looking for, we knew it was the one. It even offered a meal option that holds special meaning in our relationship, which made our decision even easier.
The venue itself is beautiful. The food and drinks were fantastic, and the wedding room feels both grand and elegant while still being neutral enough to really make it your own. As a wedding venue stylist, I visit so many venues throughout the year, so I can be quite particular because I notice all the little details that most people probably wouldn’t. The Maynard exceeded my expectations in every way.
The bedrooms are lovely and were perfect for our guests who stayed overnight. Having breakfast included the next morning was a lovely touch too.
The biggest shout-out has to go to Jess, Zoe, and the entire events team. Venue coordinators often focus solely on the venue side of things, but Jess and Zoe went above and beyond. Their attention to detail was incredible, and the way they transformed our décor from the ceremony to the wedding breakfast and then into the evening reception was flawless.
This was especially important to me because, as a venue stylist, we created and set up a lot of our own décor the day before. I was slightly worried that I’d need to step in on the day, but when I walked into the room, it was absolutely immaculate. Everything had been styled perfectly, and I didn’t have to lift a finger. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Jess, Zoe, and the team, and they played such a huge part in making our day feel so special.
I honestly couldn’t recommend The Maynard highly enough. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue with amazing food, wonderful staff, and a team that genuinely cares about making your day perfect, this is the place.

The most amazing venue for our wedding. The staff cannot do enough for you.
The set up of the venue is stunning, overlooking hope valley is the perfect scenery backdrop for photos. Also a little walk along the road overloads some gorgeous views.
The staff at the Maynard are so friendly and helpful, they all go above and beyond.
Our wedding coordinator Zoe was fantastic, she ensured our personal details and quirks were able to shine and that our wedding went without a hitch with her patience and attention to detail.
All my guest have commented on how stunning our venue choice was and how nice all the staff were throughout the day.
We cannot recommend The Maynard enough! -

Perfect Day!
The second I walked into the Maynard I knew we had to have our wedding their. The whole team have excellent communication from the original booking process, smooth transitions and organisation from the morning getting ready to the end of the day and the food was beautiful. We live in Thailand so have been planning the wedding from abroad but the team at the Maynard have been accommodating with communication, online meetings and answering 1 million questions and requests from me via email. Do not hesitate to book your wedding here, you will not regret it! -

The Perfect Day
The Maynard surpassed all expectations at every turn, not only was it amazing value for money, but the building is simply beautiful, the staff very welcoming, friendly, and excited to make your vision come to life. Every detail, no matter how big or small that we had imagined, The Maynard made a reality, they were very flexible in terms of making things how we would want and not simply how a venue does something (e.g., timings, table layout). They were very responsive, the meetings we had in the months planning were so useful, where even though we had prepared questions, they made sure they checked everything with us and the day was our own. On the day, our wedding coordinator made everything come together and even checked in with us that we still wanted things to go ahead at certain times, for example, after the wedding breakfast we were enjoying the sunshine in the gardens with our guests and so decided to push back our first dance until the sun had set a bit more. I cannot recommend The Maynard enough, I have no doubt they would make your day of your dreams come true too. -
