We celebrated our wedding at The Faversham on the 4th of September 2026 and it was just perfection! All day our guests complimented the venue, and they still are, and some family loved reminiscing of being a teen partying at the venue when it was a working pub which was so fun to hear about.
Deborah, Holly, Amelia, and the rest of their wonderful team were just fantastic throughout the entire process! From our initial viewing (the first and only venue we viewed because it was just incredible!) to the wedding, they couldn’t have done more to ensure we had the best day of our lives. The team are incredibly knowledgeable, hospitable, and were so receptive to all of our questions and requests, they know exactly what they’re doing and totally smashed it! We thought they went above and beyond our expectations.
The co-ordination of the day is one thing, but the food as well, our guests are still complimenting how fantastic the food was! We loved our tasting day with other couples due to marry there this year, where we brought our maid of honour and best man as we don’t eat meat but were serving it at the wedding. It was a brilliant and very personalised experience. The chef was incredibly accommodating for all dietary requirements and even let us take the mushroom out of the veggie wellington we ordered as our main as I’m a certified mushroom hater haha 😄 We absolutely loved our food throughout the day.
We’d recommend The Faversham to anyone, the beautiful interior, the food, the staff, everything was just wonderful! We happened to get married on one of the windiest days of the year so far and they even called in someone to reinforce the marquee that was up, there were so many small details that were considered. 10/10 venue with a 10/10 team. Thank you so much to everyone who was involved in our wedding day ❤️ -

Absolutely blown away by the team at The Faversham. They have been so attentive, incredible and an absolute joy throughout our whole wedding experience.
The Fav was the first venue we went to see. Deborah showed us around on a cold January afternoon and, from meeting her (she’s just so lovely, warm and absolutely oozes fun!) to seeing the unique, quirky and stylish interiors, we knew straight away that this was the place for us — and booked our date there and then!
We had the most amazing experience from start to finish. Every little question and query was answered so quickly, and we always felt completely reassured and in the best hands.
The tasting evening with the other couples getting married was out of this world. The food is just delicious and so plentiful, and the sharing-style menus made it so easy to interact and chat with everyone. We knew immediately that our friends and family would absolutely love this style of dining. Cudos to the chef and team !
Holly was an absolute delight to work with — coordinating every little detail, from the music and arrivals to schedules and timings, contacting our suppliers etc while keeping everything so stress-free and enjoyable. She’s an absolute star. ⭐️ such a treasure - just oozes calm and positivity! You are simply amazing!!!
Alex was such a gentleman , checking in with us throughout the day - drinks flowing and always making sure we were looked after despite our speeches going over and our dancing - so patient with us 🥰
The day was incredible - our guests couldn't stop telling us how special the venue , team and food were !!!! Wow ! Magical !To Deborah, Holly , Alex and the whole team — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. What an incredible party we had !
We chose The Fav because we fell in love with the place. We left our wedding day feeling like we’d fallen in love with the people too. -

The Faversham is wonderful. It's extremely beautiful and perfect for people who want modern but still elegant in a venue. The food was delicious- my only real criticism is there are set menus so people can't have individual meals to order which would have been nice, but ultimately the food we chose was delicious and was a very small part of the day so it was really a non-issue. The staff are all extremely kind and let us DIY a lot of things (which is what we were after). All our guests had a fantastic day, and having the team running everything meant we were completely stress free. -

The team at the Faversham worked like absolute ninjas behind the scenes on our wedding day. I expected on my wedding day that I’d have to do lots of liaising behind the scenes with the staff, but they were just so intuitive and professional that we were just left to enjoy the day. The venue is brilliant and it was the perfect setting for us. We were able to keep the day fairly relaxed and informal which is really what we wanted. Plus the fact they are a licenced venue is a great bonus, as you can hold the ceremony and reception in one place without having to transport people. I would highly recommend the Faversham as a great venue -

First let's go over the venue itself. It's so gorgeous, has so much character. The bathrooms and huge ornate mirrors resulted in a lot of mirror seflies during the day. The conservatory let's in a lot of nice natural light but is temperature controlled. The outdoor terrace allows guests to not stay indoors all day either. The bars are so cute you feel like you're at an actual bar rather than a wedding venue and the selection omg! My guests were even able to order caipirinhas that's not on the menu?? I was pregnant and there was a lot of good non-alcoholic options as well. And they don't overcharge for drinks either. We wanted an open bar and they were very flexible about it, warning us when we were reaching our limit and allowing us the option to raise it or not by however amount increments. Sorry I went on a tangent about the bar and alcohol. But I can't forget to mention the venue smells so good as well. My wedding dress still smells like it and when I smell it brings me back to the day haha! I love how you also have reign over the full venue rather than just a portion of it and our guests could roam room to room. And it really felt more like you were at an intimate, cool event rather than something like a stuffy hotel ballroom that could look like any other. There was ample seating so if people don't want to dance, they can still feel a part of the action while chilling/resting.
Next is the staff/service. We booked a year early and were able to get a discount because of it. I would say the prices are very reasonable for what you get. We had the initial viewing, then the meal tasting with other couples where wow you really get to feast, and then another in person consultation a month before. My husband and I were maybe too chill about the whole planning which in some ways could be difficult to accommodate because it's so vague and there was a lot of last minute decisions made. But they were so easy to work with and adaptable and flexible. We emailed a lot the weeks and days leading up to it and they were so responsive. They coordinated with all the vendors so we really didn't have to worry about any of that things Just Worked the day of, the vendors showed up when they were supposed to and where. There were a lot of extra things we got from the venue as well like an easel for our signs and they even set up connect four and games in the terrace which we didn't expect but was a nice bonus.
The morning of was hectic. I didn't even know whether to wear a veil or how to put the veil in my hair and shout out to Holly for putting it in my hair haha! We also weren't organized with our name cards/menu cards but Holly handled it with no stress. We got ready in the bridal suite which was such a nice respite for me, my family, and my husband when things got so overwhelming. The wedding itself started on time! Which how rare is that. Indeed, things pretty much followed the schedule we set out and our guests didn't have to wait around too much which is so important for guest happiness. We had a lot of American guests who never had a pavlova and loved the mega pavlova they sought out pavlovas the rest of their UK stay haha. The bar staff made sure to keep water on stock/at hand at all times as well.
We came back the next day to pick up some things we were able to leave our things and car at the Faversham overnight. We even lost our vow books but they found them and we were able to pick it up at a later time.
I hear a lot of venue horror stories but thank you to The Faversham for really making our wedding something special.
