The Elgin made planning a wedding so easy from start to finish.
We were endlessly impressed with their comprehensive planner. They really have thought of everything and it showed on the day.
The team was so responsive and helpful. We had a family friend set up our decorations with the team's help and we were told the whole set up was completed in half the expected time thanks to the team's efficiency.
One element that really stood out to us was their attention to detail and care for people with dietary needs. The bride has severe food allergies, and several members of our extended family and friends do as well (including coeliac). We all felt very comfortable on the day thanks to the team's great communication and transparency.
It's a beautiful space and exactly what we wanted. Months later our friends are still talking about how much fun they had at our wedding. We think a big part of that is The Elgin made it easy for us to be very present. We never worried about something going wrong, or the schedule. We were really able to fully enjoy our big day.
In our opinion, The Elgin is great value for money. We wanted great food and drinks, and a great party which The Elgin certainly delivered, but in our opinion the space was even more beautiful on the day than we had anticipated.
We would highly recommend The Elgin for weddings or any celebration. -

My partner and I got married last week with the reception being held at the Elgin, it was nothing short of incredible.
Cara was amazing from the moment we booked and offered advice where needed, super patient and accommodating.
The staff that worked the day were unbelievable, we have had so many compliments from our guests on how professional and friendly the guys were, they really went above and beyond to make the day memorable. We had visited a couple of times before and always thought the staff were great especially Joni and Tom who both worked the day.
Down to the small details we had planned, communicating with florists, performers and family on our behalf. After the wedding, everything was packed up for us to collect the following day, it truly couldn't have gone any better.
Value for money was amazing. We had 70 guests and 20 more in the evening and we were guided on amount of food which was perfect.
Thank you all so so much, we had the most amazing day thanks to you! -

We had our wedding reception at The Elgin and it was perfect! The staff were amazing — they followed all my instructions beautifully and the decorations looked just how I’d imagined. The food was absolutely delicious and everyone had a fantastic time. Thank you to the whole team for making our day so special! -

We were looking for somewhere to have our wedding celebration and we knew we loved Elgin as soon as we saw it! We could picture our celebration immediately. Cara was so helpful the whole process - we were very impressed with how easy she made it all feel. The best thing was we hardly needed any decorations - it's beautiful already! We just added a few personal touches :) The venue team were so accommodating with our band, florist & cake delivery, we didn't have to worry about a thing on the day! The food was AMAZING and the Margaritas were exceptional! Thank you for everything. We want to do it all over again! -

Stylish and Classy
Love the venue, it’s decorated in such a stylish way it made our wedding reception look amazing. Dealing with Cara and Caroline made the whole process really easy to organise and they were very helpful with how much to order. We had a great night, and it helped we could have our dog there with us. A lot of guest commented on how fantastic the food was and I definitely agree.

Cannot recommend enough!
Where do we start! From the moment we went to view the Elgin we got such a good feeling from the venue and the staff. It’s such a lovely venue, beautiful space you can make your own. Staff are so lovely.
The staff in the run up to the day are so thorough, leave you feeling calm, have everything under control. Nothing seems too much. Happy to answer the thousands of questions I had!
On the day they were amazing. Drinks flowed all day. The staff make it, so friendly, make you feel like your day is so special, even though they are doing weddings all the time. Everything ran so smoothly.
Little things like making sure I knew where all my stuff was, somewhere to put my bouquet, making sure mine and the grooms glasses were topped up, just amazing.
The food is delicious, cannot fault a bit of it.
If you are thinking about having your wedding with the Elgin I would totally recommend it! We had the best day.
You can really make the space your own, with decorations etc and they just make it happen. I was amazed when I saw the room! It was beautiful.
We has Laura play the sax for the evening and it really worked upstairs

We had the best day at the Elgin and were impressed we were at how smoothly everything went. The food was delicious (I'm obsessed with that cannelini bean dip!) and the Eton mess was sensational.
Everyone we have liaised with either via email or on the day itself was lovely and so great. Special shout out to Cara and Tom for everything they did in the run up and on the night.
I know our booking had the added challenge of two changeovers/room resets given the number of guests (57 plus us) but I thought both went so seamlessly and no one seemed to mind going downstairs.
Would highly recommend as a reception venue!
