The perfect way to say I do

We eloped to the Dev and married there in June 2023. From the moment we arrived at reception on the day before to the second we left the day after as husband and wife every detail was taken care of. They have a fantastic team of people who go all out and genuinely want you to have the best time, in a picture perfect location. Every part of our experience, the suite, the food, the wines, the ceremony ( the room service breakfasts! OMG I still dream about those breakfasts!!) and the wedding breakfast itself was perfectly executed with just so much ( seemingly ) effortless style and professionalism. I was the least stressed bride ever! Michele and Ian ❤️

Spring wedding at The Devonshire Arms

Thank you very much to Helen and the team for making our wedding day at The Devonshire Arms so special! We had the most incredible day celebrating our wedding in the beautiful grounds and buildings of the hotel with our guests. We were incredibly fortunate with the weather, and were able to have an outdoor ceremony on the lawns with views of rolling hills and Beamsley Beacon. The food, drinks and service were incredible, and the day really couldn't have been better! We had high expectations of what we would want the day to be, and Helen and team blew us out of the water. What a special place to get married surrounded by beautiful Yorkshire Dales countryside. Nothing was too much trouble for the team either in the planning stages or on the day itself, and we were able to customise the day with our own special touches, ideas, and supplier choices. Thank you to all the team for making our wedding day so special!

We (and some of our guests) also stayed over the night of the wedding - the rooms were immaculately presented with lots of lovely amenities, the breakfast in The Garden Room was fabulous, and we particularly enjoyed visiting the spa the following day. Gorgeous place!

Perfect, better than I imagined!

When you plan your wedding day you have a picture in your mind and our day exceeded that expectation. We picked the venue as it holds meaning to me, having only seen a couple of photos from previous weddings, and being in there when it was a cafe, i envisaged something completely different it was amazing to see all our ideas come together for that special day.
It was faultless! Helen put in so much effort to answer every little question and listen to my worries the whole planning experience was a breeze and the day was better than I could of imagined.
If I could do it again I wouldn't change a thing!

The venue is beautiful and staff were amazing.

We got married at the Devonshire arms on the 1st June 2019. I can honestly say from beginning to end they were faultless. Right from looking round the venue to booking and all of the planning before the day was perfect. Robyn who was our wedding planner made our experience a dream. She was on the ball straight away, nothing was a ‘silly’ request and she dealt with everything we wanted to make our day special. We can’t fault the Devonshire Arms, our day was truly magical. If we could have our day again, I wouldn’t change a thing. The venue is beautiful and staff were amazing. We had a lot of feedback from our guests who all said positive things about the venue.

An amazing day and everything was perfect

Rob and I would like to thank you all at ’The Devonshire’ for hosting our daughter’s wedding. It was truly an amazing day and everything was perfect. We have so many wonderful memories now and can’t wait to see the official photographs. Our guests have been so complimentary of the venue, the food, the service, everything in fact!

We couldn’t have wished for anything more.

Thank you Robyn so much for the huge part you played in making Amy and Adam’s wedding day so special.

You ALL made it a day we shall always remember

We were extremely impressed with the overall service we received at the Devonshire Arms for our daughter Bridget’s wedding.
We were greeted on arrival in the car park with a gentleman holding an umbrella and assisting with the luggage –
What a lovely welcome!
The wedding food was exceptional and the service second to none.
Our sincere thanks to Robyn who worked exceptionally hard to make sure everything went smoothly and was on hand to make sure it did so.
