We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding. From the very beginning, the communication was fantastic, and our wonderful coordinator, Laura, was absolutely amazing. She was so helpful, organised and reassuring throughout the whole planning process, making everything feel seamless and stress-free.
On the day itself, everything was so relaxed and went exactly to plan. The staff were incredible — attentive, friendly and professional, and nothing was ever too much to ask. A very special mention must go to Vince, who truly goes above and beyond. His care, attention to detail and willingness to help made such a difference.
The food was exceptional, and the level of service was second to none. The Crown offered fantastic value for money, and we have received so many wonderful compliments from our guests about the venue, food, atmosphere and service.
Our wedding day was everything we dreamed it would be, and The Crown will always hold an incredibly special place in our hearts. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue. ❤️ -

A Fantastic Celebration for our Daughter and Son-in-Law's Wedding, 20th June 2026
Huge thanks to Laura (Wedding & Events Co-ordinator), Vince (Wedding & Events Manager), Gemma & Helen on Reception and all the team at The Crown Hotel, Blandford Forum, for making our daughter’s wedding so magical on Saturday 20th June, 2026. 🎉💕The venue looked absolutely stunning (with also many thanks to Lisa from Novia Events and Laura from Sweetpea florist). You all helped us plan the perfect wedding celebration from start to finish, which Paul Heath, our amazing photographer, captured in fine detail! The food was absolutely delicious and plentiful. Even the sun came out just in time for the ceremony and onwards into a beautiful afternoon and evening to enjoy the outdoor games from The Hire Barn, prior to a fantastic disco courtesy of Ricky Gold (stepping in at the last minute to our huge relief!). 🌅💃 We have all made memories to last a lifetime! Highly recommend The Crown Hotel as a stunning wedding venue with a friendly and dedicated team. 💕xx -

My husband and I recently got married at The Crown Hotel and couldn’t recommend this beautiful venue more. Everything was perfect and it’s located in the lovely, scenic Blandford Forum. The staff (special thanks to Vince) were incredibly attentive and ensured everything went smoothly and that we didn’t need to worry about timings. This meant we could relax and enjoy the day and take it all in. We are particularly grateful for Laura, the wedding and events coordinator, who planned our day to every tiny detail and it all came together perfectly. The food was incredible and we got many compliments on how delicious it was and the great service. Not to mention the compliments on the lovely venue, guests loved the garden area and hotel guests were very satisfied with their stay. Certainly recommend and can’t wait to come back and visit The Crown. Thank you so much. -

Amazing venue !!!
Laura and the team were absolutely amazing, kept us updated throughout the whole journey and on the day they were fab!! There was only 1 problem and it was sorted straight away!! The day went so smoothly and the staff were absolutely fab. Beautiful venue and amazing for photos!!! -

We had our wedding here on 11th October and it was a magical day.
Laura was fabulous throughout as the wedding organiser, Vince was superb on the day and Gemma was so friendly and helpful when called upon.
The room looked amazing, the grounds were super clean and tidy and the rooms were fantastic as well. We had guests from abroad and they said the booking of the rooms was super easy and nearly a year in advance.
We'd thoroughly recommend. -

The Crown were brilliant at helping us plan our special day. A good price for an amazing day for those who are struggling to afford a wedding (like we were)
