Spring wedding
Booked 2 years in advance so after the initial booking we didn’t have too much correspondence which is fine as the important details were booked in at the appropriate times, however if I did need to ask anything it was always answered.
On the actual wedding day all the staff from Paul, Heather and Samuel to all onsite staff were brilliant, I’d mention one lady in particular but I didn’t catch her name however she took a last minute picture in the loft and was just so lovely and kind all day and at breakfast the next day, hopefully if she reads this she knows it’s her!
Everything we bought to have set up for the ceremony and wedding breakfast was placed just as we asked, loved the little touch of a pizza each being delivered to our room at the end of the evening too so we didn’t miss out on the evening food (which was pizza) - it was thoroughly enjoyed!
We had a brilliant time. The only thing I’d say we were sad to miss out on was a ‘taster’ evening, the only one offered to us was a couple of weeks before our wedding day which we’d already had our final choices meetings so it felt a bit useless to pay to have a taster evening.

We planned our Winter wedding in just 10 weeks with the expert help of Paul, Heather, Chloe and the team. Their experience and guidance was exceptional and helped make our day go very smoothly. They advised us step by step either in person, or by telephone or email. All our guests loved our venue, from the beautiful rooms which were decorated with tasteful Christmas decorations, to the fab food, the amazing scenery and the friendliness from all the staff who were on duty. We took advantage of all the guest accommodation, which was perfect for our friends who had travelled far or those who lived closer and just fancied a nights stay. We enjoyed the fact that the whole venue was ours for the day, including the bars, sitting rooms and all the outdoor space, this was the crucial factor for us and the reason why we chose Blakelands, add to this the beautiful setting in the Staffordshire countryside, it provided the perfect venue for our special day. -

A huge thank you to the whole Blakelands team who made our day just perfect in every way and so US! Heather, Paul & Chloe were so supportive and accommodating throughout the whole planning experience, offering advice, recommendations & support fitting everything we wanted into our budget. All of our guests had the most amazing time and even a slight downpour mid ceremony did not stop us having our dream of an outside ceremony. The house & grounds are just gorgeous & steeped in history which meant so much to us both. The day went so smoothly and we truly we treated like royalty, especially our little cavapoo Sunny who made a guest appearance! The food was just to die for and the freshly made pizzas on the evening went down a treat! We cannot thank you enough for such an amazing day!

From the very first visit, Blakelands Estate offered so many wonderful options to perfectly suit our needs. The communication throughout was fantastic, and every single member of staff was so helpful and genuinely invested in making our day special.
The grounds are simply beautiful, and the food was absolutely amazing – so many of our guests commented on it. The team went above and beyond to make us feel completely at ease. They even decorated the venue for us, which took away so much of the stress and allowed us to truly enjoy the build-up to the day. Being able to drop everything off the day before was such a relief, and the Loft for getting ready in was a lovely, thoughtful touch.
We also felt incredibly privileged to be only the third couple to marry in front of the house – a setting that made our ceremony feel truly unique and unforgettable.
Blakelands Estate will always hold a special place in our hearts. It was everything we dreamed of and more.
