The amazing Drovers Rest! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Drovers Review
From the moment we first visited Drovers Rest we knew we’d found our place - the setup is not only beautiful and natural but calm and welcoming and nothing felt like it would be too much trouble.
Kesri, Paul and the team were absolutely fantastic throughout and are so grateful to them.
When the day itself came round everything was well-organised and Paul, Kesri and their whole team made it smooth from start to finish. They made anything we needed happen with no stress and took care of all the little things without us even noticing! They were always around if we needed anything and we owe them thanks for some wonderful photos and reels!
It is rare to go to a wedding where guests are raving about the food but that’s exactly what you’ll get at Drovers! No words to describe that food!
It is a really special place where the team will work with you to create your day just as you imagined it.
The stunning surroundings and host of animals make sure you will also get some truly incredible photos. We also loved that all of our close friends and family could stay on site making it feel like a weekend long celebration.
As long as you don’t mind the odd 4-legged friend making an appearance in the proceedings, you won’t find anywhere better.

Brilliant food, lovely setting
We chose The Barn at Drovers for our wedding in July and had such a fantastic weekend!
Kesri, Paul, Marta and the team couldn’t do enough for us in the lead up and on the day to give us an unforgettable celebration.
The food across the whole weekend was delicious - several guests said it was the best wedding food they’d ever had! A highlight for me was the bespoke passionfruit and coconut pavlova they made bespoke for us - I will dream about this for a long time, absolute perfection! And they took special care to ensure allergies and dietaries were catered for so everyone could enjoy all the food.
The venue itself is just gorgeous. It made such a difference to us to be able to have the space to enjoy for the whole weekend. We arrived the day before the wedding and it was so lovely to be able to prep in advance and then spend longer with everyone who had travelled in. The cottages were brilliant for our immediate family to stay in, and lots more guests stayed in the very comfortable safari and bell tents.
Our initial hope was to get married in the orchard. This wasn’t something Drovers had done before this year but they were only too happy to try out new things to give us the best day possible. It rained on the Saturday so we moved the ceremony indoors - but the ceremony barn is stunning so we were very happy with this, it’s a beautiful space that Paul and the team decorated with ceiling drapes for us, it felt so welcoming. We had a lovely ceremony and Kesri was so helpful working out the logistics and technology.
Afterwards, the undercover area in the courtyard kept everyone dry while maintaining the spacious feel of outdoors while everyone enjoyed their cocktails and canapes. The reception barn comfortably fit our 100 guests in and looked so special with its modern feel and rustic features.
The team made everything feel smooth, despite the masses of work they were doing at every turn behind the scenes. They put you at ease and really care about giving you the best experience. We had a fantastic wedding - thank you Drovers! -

I don't have enough praising words for Drovers and it's Team! Not only is it a beautiful and versatile venue, the team were so hardworking in less than ideal conditions!
We threw everything at them, a nerf war, horses, over 100 guests, and then there was a spout of biblical rain to add to that! They took everything in their stride, let us make the day our own and provided the most mouth wateringly fabulous food we have tasted.... so much so that our guests are still telling us they are dreaming about the lamb!!
We couldn't recommend this venue enough, and can't thank them enough for making all our dreams come to fruition! Michelle and Andy X -

We had the most fantastic wedding with Kesri, Paul and everyone at Drovers. We honestly couldn’t have wished for better. We were well looked after from start to finish, and I feel as if the whole team have become lifelong friends through the wedding planning journey. Our queries were always answered promptly, and absolutely everything they promised materialised. The support we had throughout the whole process was second to none. The venue looked absolutely beautiful on the day, the staff were kind, courteous and very happy in their work. The food was amazing. If we could live this day over and over we would. In terms of the venue and team, there is absolutely nothing we would change. -

From the very start to the very end, Kesri and the Drovers team have been 10/10 fantastic. Always responded to every question promptly, talked and supported us through the planning and organisation of the day. Cannot tell you how many people/guests have commented on how lovely the venue was and how friendly the staff were. -

A special and unique venue for a wonderful wedding celebration
Drovers Rest helped my daughter and her fiance achieve the wedding they had dreamt about! They really wanted a relaxed and laid back vibe but to work well weddings have to be carefully executed. Delivering efficiency with the sort of atmosphere they wanted to create doesn't just happen, it is carefully curated……luckily we found Drovers Rest. The vision Kesri and Paul have for Drovers Rest and the way they fulfil that vision is what makes them special and unique - the setting was perfect, the food was delicious and it all ran like clockwork, yet it was simultaneously informal, fun and full of energy. Moreover, they are both, together with their team, welcoming, helpful and easygoing with seemingly nothing too much trouble. These are rare qualities in the world of hospitality and we very much appreciated them from the get go.
The wedding was exactly what my daughter wanted and it is in no small way down to Drovers Rest. Mothers of the bride are notoriously tricky to please….and I’m no different -:) but I was thrilled and delighted with Drovers! A HUGE thank you to them and a BIG recommendation from me.

We honestly cannot thank Kesri and the team at Drovers enough. You made everything so perfect and our wedding day was everything we hoped for and more! We wanted to take some time to comment on what made the Drovers such a magical place for our wedding:
The lead up: kesri was brilliant with the lead up to the wedding. We didn't have a wedding planner so had lots of little questions that we needed answering. Kesri replied quickly and clearly and nothing was too much (down to measuring the length of the barn for decorations). We had a video call the week before where we ran through every detail which was very reassuring and I felt completely confident that everything was in place.
The wedding: we set up the day before the wedding and turned up with 13 helping hands! The staff were on hand with any questions we had, extra equipment and to greet our guests that were checking in. We decorated with lots of our own equipment and the venue were happy for us to decorate how we like, and offered support when needed. Everything went so smoothly on the day and we were so grateful to be able to stay right through to the Monday. Guests had the best time and everyone loved the venue, staff and food. We had a band in the evening and staff were on hand to seamlessly set up for them. Staff helped with adjusting areas during the day (like moving ceremony chairs ready for the evening).
The staff: The staff at Drovers could not do enough for us. It really felt like extended family. Staff were present, warm but also professional. Kesri and her team helped guests find their accomodation and helped us address any difficulties we had. Kesri and her team really did go the extra mile, helping capture moments that we might have missed and sending photos to us, helping with music and chatting to guests. We felt so welcome and very cared for on our special day!
The venue: the venue is incredible. We had free reign to explore the farm and spend time with the animals. Everything that guests needed was on hand and facilities were clean and comfortable. We absolutely loved the rustic feel to the day, and the whole vibe was so relaxed. It really felt like our home for the whole weekend. We even had the farm cat wander around with us as we explored!
The accomodation: The accomodation was fantastic and was a real bonus when we were deciding on wedding venues. If was so great to be able to have most of our guests stay on site with us for the whole weekend. We used the safari tents, bell tents and cottages. Everyone fed back how much they enjoyed their stay. We stayed in the cottage and they were so clean and comfortable. Guests had everything they needed for a comfortable stay.
The food: the food was incredible. THE BEST LAMB WE'VE EVER EATEN! Guests were telling us how amazing the food was all day. It was amazing to have the food cooked outdoors and for guests to see and smell the food cooking during the reception. Food was served sharing style which was so lovely and brought such a community feel to the meal. We had a cooked breakfast on the Sunday, which again was so delicious, and a chilli on the Friday which was equally amazing.
Thank you so so much again, Kesri, Paul, Marta, Patrick, Jaden and Kayla, you made our wedding day so special and it was filled with memories we will treasure forever! We couldn't have asked for a better team and venue to celebrate our special day!

Kesri and her team were fabulous over our wedding weekend and couldn't do enough to make sure our celebrations ran smoothly, they all went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a good time (even going out to buy a couple of specific bottles of Tequila Rose last minute for the groomsmen - who promised to drink it all, they did!). The venue was perfect for us, we loved being able to have family and friends join us for the whole weekend for a relaxed, fun wedding vibe, and making use of the two barns, courtyard area and the onsite accommodation really added to the experience. The food was incredible, and all our guests commented on how delicious the food was throughout the three days. Having photos with the alpacas will be a memory our bridal party and groomsmen will love for years to come and we loved having free roam of the farm for our couples photos. Drovers will forever hold a special place in our hearts and we can't wait to return! We can't thank Kesri, Paul & Marta and all the team enough for making us feel so welcome and comfortable during our wedding weekend.The Barn at Drovers's reply:
