Excellent venue
We had the perfect day in an absolutely gorgeous venue. Morgan was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. We were guided by Morgan's extensive knowledge and we had the best day. -

What an amazing venue! We had the best experience from the outset.
Morgan is so amazing at her job- such a lovely, warm person who is great at what she does. Super organised and deals with every query and question quickly. The hotel has a relaxed approach to a lot of things and we loved this.
We had the most perfect day and despite it being raining, they even made the effort to put our outdoor games for the kids in the ceremony room to keep them entertained. The meal was excellent and all of our guests commented on it - especially the haggis parcel to start! The hotel really do go above and beyond to make your day run smoothly and ensure every little detail is covered. We couldn’t recommend them enough!

We recently had our wedding reception at the Strathaven Hotel and wow, what an amazing day. Morgan and the team were incredible. Nothing was a bother, everyone was so helpful and friendly. Everything ran so smoothly.
The food and drinks were lovely. There was never a queue at the bar and dinner service ran quickly and smoothly. Our guests really enjoyed their meal and we’re still hearing comments about how amazing the hotel and staff were.
In particular, Morgan got so much praise for how helpful and attentive she was. Morgan was one of the reasons that we initially booked the hotel as we felt so comfortable with her and could feel that she cared about us and giving us a great day. Throughout the full lead up to the wedding, Morgan was always there for any questions we had and could not have been more attentive and helpful. We knew we could trust her with anything. On the day, Morgan was again so incredibly helpful. She put aside canapés for us, make sure our drinks were always topped up, helped me take out my veil, put my dinner aside to keep hot while I was away from my seat, rushed to help my mother in law when soup was spilled on her dress. Morgan helped create an amazing atmosphere in the hall and helped keep everything to time. She was amazing and I can’t thank her enough for everything. She is incredible at what she does and is such a wonderful person. She helped make our wedding a dream come true and we’re so thankful.
Jennifer was also incredible on the day. She was so helpful and done so much to help make our day run smoothly. Again, nothing was a bother and we’ve still hearing comments about how amazing she was.
Overall, we had the most amazing day and we have the Strathaven staff to thank for that. They helped set-up our hall exactly as we had envisioned and the service was amazing throughout the day. Their friendliness and attentiveness contributed to why our day was so amazing. We cannot thank them all enough. We would recommend the Strathaven Hotel to anyone - whether that be an overnight, food at their restaurant or for their wedding venue. You will not meet another team of staff as friendly and helpful as them. -

Our wedding day was everything we had hoped for, and we couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue.
From our very first enquiry through to the day itself, every aspect of the experience was exceptional. The entire team were professional, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our day as special as possible. Every question we had was answered promptly, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble.
A special mention must go to Morgan, who was outstanding throughout the entire planning process. From our first meeting, she made us feel completely at ease with her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail. Her support, guidance, and reassurance gave us complete confidence that everything was in safe hands, allowing us to relax and truly enjoy every moment leading up to our wedding.
We had always envisioned a small, intimate wedding, and this venue exceeded every expectation. One of the things that meant the most to us was that our children were able to be part of our special day. Finding a venue that welcomed them made the celebration even more meaningful and allowed us to create unforgettable memories together as a family.
The setting was beautiful, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and every detail was executed flawlessly. We are incredibly grateful to Gillian, Morgan and the entire team for making our wedding day so memorable. Their dedication, care, and exceptional service made all the difference, and we would not hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone looking for an unforgettable wedding experience.

We had a terrific experience with the wedding team at the Strathaven Hotel. From our first contact we felt very comfortable discussing our plans. We had scheduled meetings leading up to our special day to ensure nothing had been forgotten. We used
suppliers recommended by the staff including a local florist and piper who were excellent. Many of our guests commented on the quality of our wedding breafast. The hotel exterior and gardens provided a perfect backdrop for our photographs. Many thanks to Morgan, Gillian and Jen for making our wedding day dream come true. Best wishes Douglas & Eileen -

Even though our wedding was small and intimate. From the first visit to the wedding day every aspect was catered for with care and professionalism. Our 4 golden retrievers were included in the ceremony. Nothing was a problem to them and they made our special day even better than we could have dreamed in the beautiful surroundings of the hotel. Every guest commented on the quality of the staff and venue. -

Strathaven hotel will forever have a special place in our hearts. We experienced such happiness and joy during our wedding day at this hotel. The hotel its self is beautiful and an excellent setting for a wedding. But it was the staff at the hotel that made our stay truly perfect. They put such effort into making everything flawless for our big day. With lots of attention to detail, coordinating everything perfectly for us so that the day was faultless. Both Managers Gillian and Morgan are wonderful people who have a fabulous team behind them. It was Morgan that overseen our big day. She is truly a lovely, kind heart person. She put so much effort into finding out exactly what we wanted for our big day. Throughout our wedding she was there to help coordinate and run the day smoothly and very professionally. We can’t thank them enough for making our day sublime and giving us wonderful wedding. -

Me and my husband!! had our wedding at the beautiful Strathaven hotel on 2nd September. From start to finish the service and attention to detail was just amazing. Any worries or questions I had for wedding planning was quicnly dealt with and they were extremely supportive during the planning process. I loved the fact there was flexibility and a relaxed atmosphere at the venue. Everyone I've spoken to had a fantastic time and all the better with the sunshine and lovely garden grounds to sit and enjoy inbetween the ceremony and meal. It's a day we will never forget and can't thank everyone enough at the venue. They went over an above on the day and it ran so smoothly. -
