Deborah Sent on 25/11/2025An Outstanding, Extraordinary, Exceptional Wedding Venue
If you want a venue who will treat you like royalty from start to finish, this is the venue for you! Our Co-ordinator Jodie from Stanbrook was absolutely phenomenal! She ensured that we had everything we needed, right down to the last detail. The whole process was made with ease. You are provided with meetings throughout, an amazing taster session and even discounts for your guests who plan to stay at the hotel on the night of Wedding Day. The staff were brilliant; they met all our needs and requests. The rooms were aesthetically gorgeous and comfortable.
My bridal party and I stayed in the Outstanding Bridal Manor the night before, and my husband’s groomsmen booked the basement where they played games, utilised the snooker table whilst enjoying fabulous food.
The order of the day couldn't of run smoother! Clyde our co-ordinator on the day of the wedding was so kind and considerate. The staff were professional and worked in unity. All our guests expressed how much they felt like Royalty! And the building! Absolutely Extraordinary!! I cannot thank you enough Stanbrook for making our day sooo Special!! I would recommend this Amazing 5-star experience to all! -

We got married at Stanbrook Abbey in June 2026. From our first viewing in January 2025 to the moment we drove away the day after the wedding, the staff at Stanbrook Abbey have been incredible. They have an ease about them that makes you feel relaxed as a bride & groom, and there is no need to ‘sweat the small stuff’ on the big day as you know it is all in hand. A special shoutout to Caylie, our wedding coordinator in the lead up to the day, and Liza & Clyde, who made every part of the day before & day of our wedding, as stress-free as possible. The venue speaks for itself, our guests were stunned by the beauty of the Callow Great Hall. We also had lots of compliments on the wedding food - both daytime & evening (we upgraded to pizza!). Thank you Stanbrook for giving us the best day of our lives xx -

We got married at Stanbrook Abbey in June 2026 and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue. The venue itself is in immaculate condition and getting married in the beautiful Callow Great Hall is something we will never forget - it is such a special place for a wedding ceremony and our guests (and us!) were completely blown away by it. Caylie was also really helpful from start to finish. She was super responsive to emails and really went out of her way to make our day as special as it could possibly be. We had a fairly large wedding (110 guests approximately) and there was plenty of room for everyone. The service on the day was also seamless, with Clyde and the team being on hand to manage the day itself and it felt completely stress-free, even with last minute changes having to be made due to rain. This really is a special venue and I am so glad we chose it - highly recommend for anyone looking for the wow factor! -

We were blown away by the venue the moment we viewed for our wedding. From the breathtaking abbey with the stain glass window and beautiful details in the architecture to the grand Manor House where me and my five bridesmaids stayed the night before and where my family arrived to help me prepare to walk down the isle. The day wouldn’t have been what it was without Liza our wedding coordinator who handled every last detail and kept in contact with us throughout the whole planning journey. I cannot express to you how calm and relieved I was after meeting with her and I thanked her so much because she had gone over everything I was worrying about and made the process so seamless (during a difficult time in her life I wanted to add how resilient, loving and dedicated to her role her strength amazes me). Secondly Clyde who was there with us through every step on the big day. He organised everything from the time we wanted deserts to hand placing every piece of decoration I had brought. He was so amazing and so calm even when we ran behind time I went to him and he has such a calming energy and told me there was nothing to worry about we never felt rushed he keeps everything so organised on the day and I am so so grateful for both of them. Finally Sophie who served us and took over from Clyde later on in the evening she was so professional and passionate about her role I am so amazed by the quality of staff who all truly match your joy and energy on the biggest day of your life. They were all so genuinely happy for me and my husband and without them the day wouldn’t have been so perfect. - Courtney and Morgan Fox -

Wedding day
Absolutely fabulous venue. The staff are extremely helpful and very attentive, nothing was too much trouble before, during or after the wedding. Caylie was outstanding!
The abbey for the actual ceremony was exceptional as was St Anne’s for the wedding breakfast -

From the moment we walked into Stanbrook we were treated really well. We only wanted a small wedding, ceremony, meal and rooms but nothing was too much trouble. Our wedding advisor, Jodie, was an absolute star who made sure everything was in place before the day and the day itself ran smoothly. The Abbey and the grounds are lovely, the staff really friendly and efficient and the food was excellent. I would recommend Stanbrook Abbey to anyone looking for a wedding venue, small or large. -
