Incredible day
I don’t even know where to begin to describe how incredible our experience was with St. Ermin’s Hotel!
We decided to plan a last-minute wedding—starting in May for a September celebration—and from the very first moment, the wedding planning team was nothing short of amazing. They accommodated us at such short notice, took the time to understand our vision, and were so flexible with our requests, including arranging halal food for the day.
Throughout the entire process, Sara was absolutely incredible. She and her team stayed in regular contact through emails and meetings, ensuring every detail and logistic was perfectly organised. Honestly, without Sara’s support, our wedding wouldn’t have been nearly as seamless or special as it was. She provided us with a clear, organised checklist that helped us stay on track, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our big day. ❤️
One of the biggest reasons we chose St. Ermin’s was how cared for we felt from the very first visit. That feeling only grew stronger throughout the planning process—we truly felt supported every step of the way.
And then came the wedding day itself—absolutely flawless. The food was exceptional (our guests are still talking about the soup!), and the service was impeccable. Every member of staff was so kind, attentive, and professional, making all our guests feel so welcome.
If you’re considering this venue, we can’t recommend it highly enough. And as a bonus tip, make sure to visit Caxton Grill on-site—it’s a hidden gem right next to St. James’s Park, with some of the best food in London!

The Wedding Day We Always Dreamed Of
We had our wonderful wedding at St. Ermin’s in May 2026, and can’t stop singing their praises!
From the moment we reached out to St Ermin’s, the event coordinator Claret sent us lots of information about the venue, packages and pricing, and answered all our questions no matter how small or detail-oriented even at such an early stage, which was in stark contrast to many other venues we reached out to. After visiting the stunning hotel, and having Claret show us around and walk us through all the possibilities of how we could use the space for our wedding, we decided to go for it.
The planning process throughout the year leading up to our wedding was incredibly smooth, and we always received very prompt replies to any queries and reassurance to any concerns we had. Claret has an incredible skill to make you feel like you are the only couple and a priority, even though she and the venue deal with a huge number of other bridal couples at the same time! They were incredibly accommodating of all our requests, and made anything and everything seem possible and achievable. She also coordinated with all the different suppliers we had booked (cake, band, decor, etc.), confirming timings and making sure everything runs smoothly on all fronts on the big day. This was a huge weight off our shoulders!
The wedding day itself was fabulous - the staff went above and beyond to ensure that everything was set-up in a timely manner and exactly as we had envisioned. Several of our guests have also reached out after the wedding to say how incredible the staff were, and how they were treated in such a friendly and helpful manner throughout the entire day. I had a small dress mishap on the day, but Claret was ready with a small DIY kit and quickly helped fix the issue right before it was time to walk down the aisle - what a life saver! Needless to say she was amazing throughout the entire day and helped with all kinds of requests, big and small.
We had our ceremony in the Crystal Ballroom, the reception in the Crystal Mezzanine, the wedding breakfast in the Cloisters Suite, and the evening party back in the Crystal Ballroom again. Each room fulfilled its purpose beautifully and the guests were easily moved from one room to the next as the day went on. We were a tad concerned that the Crystal Ballroom may be too big for our guest count of only 50, but it turned out to be perfect and the staff made sure to space out the chairs and decor in a way that didn’t make the room look too big and empty for our small scale wedding.
The food was fantastic, and again we’ve had so many guests raving about it during and even after the wedding! About 2 months before the wedding we were invited for a tasting session at St. Ermin’s, so we could try the starters, mains, desserts, wines, and alc/non-alc prosecco that we were interested in and make our choices. We also chose to have some canapes served during our drinks reception, and although we didn’t get to try them in advance, we can confirm they were delicious on the day! The venue is also diligent in accommodating any allergies and dietary requirements, and providing alternative options for guests opting for no alcohol on the day. There is also a children’s menu available to accommodate guests with small children, which went down well at our wedding.
Overall, we can’t recommend St. Ermin’s enough. Everyone (including ourselves!) were so impressed with the stunning interior, great central location, delicious food, smooth organization, seamless communication, Claret's enthusiasm and dedication, as well as the kindness and professionalism of all the staff, and we simply can’t stop talking about it to anyone and everyone! So if you’re considering booking, we 100% urge you to reach out to St. Ermin’s and let them walk you through how your wedding could look in their spaces. It was the best decision we made!

10/10 venue - would highly recommend
We booked our wedding for the end of March and throughout the entire process Claret was absolutely phenomenal. Claret was extremely organised, responsive and attentive to any special requirements. As we have very little experience in planning, Claret made all the complicated things seem easy!
When the day came, Claret worked above and beyond to making our day special. From helping to fix an issue with the wedding dress, to fixing the buttonhole on the groom and just being the anchor to our hectic day - Claret was fantastic.
As for St Ermin's as a venue, it was spectacular. The existing decor is classy and elegant (they have a wonderful chandelier in the Crystal ballroom) and all our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was. This was one of the main reasons we picked St. Ermins, as we only added very little decor (floral arrangements) so we did not need to worry about decorations at all.
The food for our wedding breakfast was also exceptional, the apple dessert especially, had all our guests wowed.
The evening reception also went as smoothly as you can imagine.
We also took beautiful pictures in the lobby and courtyard.
A big thanks to Claret, St. Ermins and the team who worked tirelessly to make our celebration extraordinary. Would highly recommend picking St. Ermin’s as a wedding venue. -

Unforgettable wedding day at the beautiful St Ermin's Hotel
We discovered St Ermin’s on Hitched while searching for our wedding venue, and from the very first visit, it stood out from the rest.
After viewing several other venues — including one that left us with a disappointing experience — our visit to St Ermin’s was a breath of fresh air. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Claret, the wedding venue coordinator, who immediately made us feel at home. She was exceptionally professional, reassuring, and attentive, and we were able to liaise with her directly throughout the entire process. This gave us enormous confidence and peace of mind.
During our first visit, Claret invited us for cocktails while we discussed the wedding details. She walked us through the three stunning spaces we would use on the day: the reception room for cocktails, the Cloisters for dinner, and the Ballroom for the evening party. The cocktails were outstanding, and the overall experience left such a strong impression that we decided to book St Ermin’s for our wedding immediately after that first visit.
Everything about St Ermin’s felt convenient, welcoming, and well organised. The hotel is pet-friendly, which meant the world to us — our dog is part of our family, and other venues would not even consider allowing pets. At St Ermin’s, this was never an issue, and it made the experience feel even more special.
The organisation throughout the planning process was flawless. We were in regular contact with Claret — weekly, and sometimes even daily as the wedding approached — and she was always responsive, flexible, and accommodating. We also found great flexibility within the wedding package, offering excellent value for the quality provided.
We soon discovered the exceptional standard of food and drink at St Ermin’s. From the delicious cocktails made with their homemade gin and rum, to the wonderful afternoon tea we were offered, and the outstanding menu tasting, every experience exceeded our expectations and reinforced that we had made the right choice.
On the wedding day itself, everything ran seamlessly. Claret had already coordinated with all of our vendors, making the entire day feel effortless. The staff were incredibly organised, professional, and genuinely kind, and many of our guests commented on the exceptional level of service — something that is increasingly rare to find in London.
The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and a dream for photography, with stunning backdrops at every turn. Even our photographers commented on how perfect the venue was. The property is immaculately maintained, and at every visit we noticed the care and attention the team puts into keeping it pristine.
Our wedding night was just as magical. The hotel room was spacious, elegant, and beautifully prepared, and we were deeply touched by the thoughtful details waiting for us — flowers, cakes, and other small attentions that made the evening feel truly special. St Ermin’s also went above and beyond for my dog, preparing a comfortable bed and treats for him as well, which perfectly reflects the warmth and care of the team.
Finally, knowing that St Ermin’s once served as Churchill’s headquarters added an extra layer of charm and history to an already remarkable venue.
We cannot recommend St Ermin’s highly enough. The combination of outstanding staff, exceptional service, beautiful spaces, and fair pricing made our wedding truly unforgettable. St Ermin’s now feels like family to us, and we look forward to returning for anniversary drinks and future celebrations. It will always hold a very special place in our hearts. -

Our perfect wedding day at St. Ermin's Hotel
We had our wedding at St. Ermin’s Hotel a week ago and words can’t describe how wonderful our special day was, and the memories from that day will stay with us and our guests forever.
We are especially thankful to our fantastic wedding coordinator, Claret, for taking care of every detail of our wedding day, liaising with our suppliers and making sure the day runs according to the schedule. She is very passionate about the work she does, and it was a pleasure planning the wedding with her in the preceding months. The level of care and thoughtfulness she displayed throughout the planning stage and on the day was invaluable.
The venue itself is breathtaking. The moment we walked into the Crystal Ballroom for the first time we knew that this is THE place where we want to celebrate the most important day in our lives. The ballroom features a grand crystal chandelier and rococo ceiling, providing just a perfect backdrop to those wedding photos we dreamt of. The rooms we and our guests stayed in were beautiful and everyone has enjoyed their stay.
We were also impressed with the hotel staff that took care of the wedding reception. Everyone was professional and the service was exceptional from waiting staff to concierge desk. The food served at the wedding breakfast was beautiful.
Our wedding day was as beautiful and magical as we had imagined, and this would not have been possible without Claret and the first-class team at St. Ermin’s. We are forever grateful for the hard work they put into making our special day an unforgettable experience.
We would highly recommend St. Ermin’s Hotel to every couple who is looking for a stunning venue that will make their special day unforgettable.

Thomas & Vinissha Wedding
We had our wedding at St. Ermin’s Hotel, and the entire experience was truly unforgettable. So much of that is thanks to our incredible wedding coordinator, Claret. From the very beginning, she supported us with such patience and calm reassurance. But it was on the wedding day itself, during the most hectic, emotional moments, that she truly made all the difference.
Both Tom and I found ourselves mentioning her name to everyone because of how extraordinary she was. When Tom lost a button on his suit, Claret instantly noticed and resolved it immediately. It may seem like a small detail, but in a moment of panic, she was the calm we needed. She didn’t just coordinate our wedding, she genuinely cared for us and held everything together with such grace.
The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. Our room was stunning and comfortable. The food was amazing, our guests kept raving about it and every part of the experience was handled with such thoughtfulness.
We were also so impressed with the entire hotel staff. From room service to housekeeping to the reception team, everyone was incredibly warm and helpful. Anytime we needed assistance, the front desk went out of their way to support us. The service across the board was exceptional.
This wedding would not have been what it was without Claret and the wonderful team at St. Ermin’s. We are so grateful for everything they did to make our day so special. I would recommend every couple to work with Claret and to choose St. Ermin’s for their wedding, it was THE BEST DECISION we made. -

Incredible wedding at St Ermin’s
We celebrated our wedding at St. Ermin’s Hotel on the 25th of October and WOW - what an incredible experience from start to finish.
The hotel itself is stunning, with two beautiful event spaces full of character, charm and timeless elegance. It truly felt like the most magical setting for our day.
Every member of staff we encountered was warm, welcoming and genuinely eager to help. There wasn’t a single person who didn’t go out of their way to make our experience - and our guests’ experience -seamless, enjoyable and memorable.
A very special mention has to go to Claret Fernandez, the Events Manager. From our first visit, through countless emails, planning meetings and site walk-throughs, she supported us every step of the way. Her organisation, attention to detail, calm reassurance and kindness made the whole process stress-free. On the day itself, she went above and beyond and truly made us feel cared for. We felt incredibly lucky to have her by our side.
We also want to thank the wider team who worked tirelessly on the day - from setting up the rooms beautifully, to looking after our guests and ensuring every moment ran perfectly. Their professionalism, warmth and hard work did not go unnoticed.
We couldn’t recommend St. Ermin’s more highly for anyone looking for a wedding venue.
Choosing to celebrate our wedding here was the best decision we made - our day was magical, and one we will treasure forever. -

Could not recommend more!
We held our wedding here this October, and the hotel was incredible for the entirety.
The spaces are gorgeous, we chose to have our drinks reception on the mezzanine, dinner in the cloisters suite, then party in the ballroom and it was perfect, keeping guests excited with the changes in space.
Claret helped us plan the day, in coordination with our own wedding planner, and she was great! Very attentive and quick to respond to any questions we had, and great with getting us to consider aspects we hadn’t thought about. and incredibly helpful on the day too, helping coordinate guests around the venue.
The food was incredible, with an amazing menu tasting before the event too, and again meeting the chefs who were very kind and happy to take on any suggestions we had.
On the night, our guests could not believe how good the service was, never seeing an empty glass through the whole dinner!
You can really feel the attention the whole hotel give you throughout the whole process, making you feel special and cared for. I couldn't believe how cheap it was for what you got, and I never felt they were gauging prices just because it was a wedding.

Magical Day
Claret and Sara as wedding coordinators were unbelievably helpful. There were no stupid questions and any changes to seating plans or food orders was no problem. They were able to draw on their vast experience to tell us things that would and would not work on our day. The other staff were enormously helpful also. The venue was everything we wanted it to be. Big and bright and coordinated with the flowers we picked. In terms of value for money, we can’t fault St Ermin's; A lot of other hotels in London that we visited were asking £20k just to book the place (not including reception food etc). St Ermins were asking £20k all in which included booking a dream room and ballroom AND included food for guests! The location was great and if you love spy films or spy novels, St Ermin’s has a cool history in that world! They truly gave us a magical day. -

The best day of our lives!
We had our wedding at St. Ermin’s Hotel, and it truly could not have been more perfect. We had the time of our lives, and our guests have not stopped talking about how wonderful the day was!
A very special mention goes to our incredible planner, Claret, who supported us every step of the way. From the in-depth planning meetings and regular email contact to our private menu tasting (complete with our own dining room and attentive service), she made the whole process enjoyable and stress-free. In the weeks leading up to the big day, Claret contacted all our vendors, which lifted such a weight off our shoulders. She also arranged for all of our menus, welcome sign, table plan, and table numbers to be printed, which saved us so much time and effort. On the day itself, she ensured everything went smoothly and was always on hand and ready to answer any question.
We also want to highlight Graham, who led the operations side with such professionalism and care. Thanks to him and the wider team, everything ran seamlessly — the food, service, and bartenders were absolutely fantastic. Speaking of the food, it was incredible: the tuna tataki starter was a standout favourite among our guests, and we received compliments on the house white wine.
St. Ermin’s gave us the most unforgettable wedding day, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the whole team for making it all happen so beautifully.-
