We had a list of 10 venues to visit but the minute we viewed Southdowns we knew it was the one for us! To have the whole space just for us was fantastic.
The whole process was so slick. No question too silly, and everyone so helpful.
The staff were just amazing, nothing was too much trouble and full of smiles. Becky was fantastic and smoothed over any minor issues. If you want a stress free wedding with everything included, this is for you!
The venue is stunning, we had our dream outdoor ceremony and it was so emotional.
The food was gorgeous and so much of it. We had hot canapés with Pimms on the lawn, then Afternoon Tea and then a Pizza buffet later. They created our perfect vision and accommodated so many dietary requests.
The day was everything we dreamed of & our guests were blown away! -

Our wedding at Southdowns Manor was absolutely perfect from start to finish. From the moment we first stepped into the venue, we knew it was something special — and it truly exceeded every expectation on the day.
A huge thank you to Lia, our wonderful wedding coordinator, for being incredible from day one. Her care, organisation, and attention to detail made everything run so smoothly, and we felt completely at ease knowing she had everything in hand.
The venue is stunning, but what makes it truly exceptional is the amazing team. Every single member of staff — from the bar and catering staff to the housekeeping team — was so friendly, professional, and welcoming. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and everyone had a smile on their face.
A special thank you also to Rob for getting our room ready at the end of the night — Pippa actually cried when she saw the beautiful final touches! It was the perfect end to the most magical day.

My husband and I had the most incredible experience with Southdowns Manor from start to finish. The entire process was smooth and stress-free, even when the heavens decided to open up throughout the day. We'd hoped to have the ceremony outside but the team did a fantastic job of setting everything up indoors. The vibes were cozy and cute, our guests adored the food, and the staff were unbelievably attentive. At the end of the night (11:30pm), we were told our room was ready and the bath had been run, and despite not getting there until after 1am, the water was still hot! We can't thank Lia, Karis, Natalie, and the rest of the staff enough for taking control of the day and smashing it out the park. -

A magical day
From our first visit with Natalie to planning meetings with Lia and the day itself, everything was incredible. All the staff were amazing and we couldn't fault them. The entire process was so easy and stressfree and they helped to create the most perfect day for us. I could not rate them more highly. -

Our special day at Southdowns Manor was amazing from the first moment! As a recently engaged couple we weren’t sure where to start. We were wowed by their brochure and the attention to detail that was taken. This lead to us booking a show round on a whim! Which turned out to be the best decision we made. Karis took the time to show us around the manor, explaining the space would be exclusively ours and answering every question we had, even silly ones about cutlery being included, however not so silly as I found out afterwards when speaking to friends. After this chat we chose a 2 day package which meant we had the venue the night before the wedding and the morning after (up until 10AM) as just ours! We also loved the venue so much we booked one of their special offers which meant we had to plan the wedding in the space of 9 months! Karis was right it could be done and our family was there.
The 2 day package was the best choice for us I have no faults on the execution of the wedding day and any special requests we had. Becky, Rob and Shannon looked after us spectacularly and managed to resolve any little blips that came up (Pain au Jams 😉) Being able to stay the night before meant we were able to spend calm time with the team to set up all of our decor together and fix any little snags. It also made me feel calmer as I knew our son was happy and settled in the space.
Overall the day itself was amazing, the ceremony space being changed from indoors to outside at the last minute. The food, the team, and the general vibe were excellent. If we could do it all again we would! Our day was brilliant and the venue was stunning.
Additionally the team were happy to work alongside any vendor I booked. Such as surprise mini golf for my Husband and that was no problem, the staff kept him busy till it was time for “the reveal” and he spent most of his time before the ceremony trying to get a round in! We also booked Delicious Dreams ice creams who were able to be set up in the conservatory space as it was getting quite cold in the evening.
Seriously book Southdowns manor if you are looking for a private but spacious venue, with beautiful outdoor space, wonderful food and an amazing team behind them! -

Took the stress out of everything, better than we ever could have imagined from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out. 2 day weddings are the way forward would highly recommended to everyone. -
