Sarah Sent on 22/05/2025Perfect day and perfect mix of castle grandeur in a relaxed setting
We had the best and most perfect wedding we could have hoped for at the Castle in May 2025. The venue was so characterful, the grounds looked beautiful in the sunshine and the peacocks were quite the spectacle. We loved having the ceremony in the Cornwallis Suite which was the perfect size and aspect for 60 guests. Then the wedding breakfast and reception worked out really well in the Grand Salon with the layout being changed around for the disco. Everything looked gorgeous once decorated and it was so lovely seeing everything come together. Also the pork and the sticky toffee pudding were to die for!
We'd like to thank the wedding team, general managers and all the staff (especially Abi, Naomi, Jane and Antonio) so much for all your help leading up to and on our special day. Nothing was too much trouble and you were all amazing, even helping us set up beforehand. All our interactions with all of you were really positive. We appreciate it so much.
The day went seamlessly from start to finish - thank you so much. We highly recommend it! We couldn't be happier.

Stunning wedding venue
We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding day. From the planning stage right through to the day itself, the whole team were fantastic.
Everything was so well organised and thoughtfully handled, which made the whole process feel easy and stress free. On the day, everything ran so smoothly and we were able to fully relax and enjoy every moment.
The Master of Ceremonies was incredible and kept everything perfectly on track, and all of the bar staff and waiting on staff were wonderful throughout. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and professional, and it really made a difference.
It truly was the perfect day, and we’re so grateful to the entire team for making it so special. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone planning their wedding. -

Ruthin Castle was a fantastic venue for us. The building is stunning and the grounds are absolutely gorgeous. The peacocks are a nice addition to the whole aesthetic.
The communication with the wedding team was really smooth, very responsive and easy to get a hold of. They were happy to work with us on extras and changes to make the day ideal for what we wanted. Paige and Naomi were lovely to work with and the day had no dramas or problems at all. Recommended. -

Dream wedding!
We had the most beautiful wedding at Ruthin Castle! Everything was perfect from the stunning peacock terrace (with actual peacocks!) where we got married to our gorgeous wedding breakfast and evening reception in the Grand Salon and library terrace. The setting was absolutely breathtaking and this was captured on all of our wedding photographs.
The staff were so accommodating and kept us updated with everything that was happening throughout the day and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel manager was on site all day long making sure everything was perfect for us and I can’t thank him enough!
All our wedding dreams came true with Ruthin Castle! And we wish we could do it all over again!!! -

Wow. Totally amazing. Staff and hotel fantastic. They really made my wedding like a fairytale. Throughly recommd you will not find a better venue for a wedding -
