The Moore Wedding
This venue is exceptional! The location is perfect over looking the sea! The outside space for reception drinks it’s amazing and the indoor reception space is huge if you don’t have the weather for outside! We worked with Nicola as our coordinator and honestly our day would not have been the same without her! She helped all our idea come to life! Patrick and the kitchen team are amazing and every one of our guests loved the food! We had so much fun even just setting up the venue, using items from the wonder room for inspiration too! Pratis Barns is just a dream wedding venue. It is so picturesque, the views are incredible, and the staff are second to none. From the moment we booked our wedding with Pratis we were given so much support from Louise and Nicola, then latterly Kelly when she joined the team. They helped us plan our perfect day and it wouldn't have gone so smoothly if it wasn’t for them. The planning portal is amazing, it lets you keep a checklist so you don’t forget anything, and the list of recommended suppliers takes a huge weight off your shoulders when you are trying to find all of these incredible people to be part of your day. So many of our suppliers have worked with the Pratis team numerous times and they all commented on how great they are to work with.
We were able to have our perfect day with our dogs by our side thanks to Pratis being dog friendly. They also helped us surprise all of our guests with some additional, slightly larger fluffy guests - Highland Cows! My only complaint to Pratis from the get go has been that they do not have Coos on site, but they provided us with the details of To Have & To Fold and helped us arrange them whilst keeping it a surprise from all of our guests!
Pratis House is such an incredible additional to the venue, getting to stay on site for the whole weekend with your closest loved ones made our big day feel more like a big weekend instead of just a one day event. From getting in on Friday to setup and have your final planning meeting, then getting to just relax on Sunday after a quick tidy up, not having to worry about rushing away as we didn’t have to check out until Monday. This was definitely the seller for us when picking Pratis as our venue and it was everything we hoped for. As a bride it was great getting ready on site knowing once I was ready all I had to do was walk round to the ceremony barn, and at the end of the night once you have said goodbye to all of your guests, your bed is right there waiting on you!
The food. Wow. Patrick and his team are so good. It says a lot when your photographer keeps talking about how its his favourite venue as the food is so incredible, and how excited he was when we asked him to pick from our menu! The food was delicious, and that is coming from a very fussy eater. The team are also incredibly accommodating and helpful when it comes to allergies, for your bridal party and guests. The couple's feast back in November was an amazing day, an additional opportunity to see the venue again, plus getting to taste all of the incredible food. It did make narrowing down the menu a lot harder when it all tasted so good! During the reception, the canapés were a hit, and again the evening food, which we were able to pick and customise with Patrick beforehand went down a storm.
Overall, we could not recommend Pratis Barns for your wedding day enough. The whole weekend was perfect start to finish. We have received so many compliments from guests about the venue too, it was just gorgeous.Pratis Barns's reply:

Praris was the first and ONLY wedding venue we visited. We knew and felt, this is IT!
We just got married on 16.04.25. It was simply out of this world and we are incredibly grateful.
Louise - I couldn’t have asked for anything more. The way you co-ordinated our day was smooth, timeless, reassuring and managing all elements of our day. We have had numerous comments from our guests that they felt it was not only the best wedding & ceremony but the transitions in the day were effortless. No request was too big, you just simply were amazing. Thank you for being part of our special day.
The food was just absolutely outstanding. From the canopies which were to die for, to the meal, to the evening buffet - Patrick and the team smashed it. Again, numerous guests comments just how amazing our wedding food was and it being the first wedding they’ve come to where all the food was phenomenal!
We couldn’t have brought our vision to life without you guys. A heart felt thank you from us 🫶🏽
I am obsessed with Pratis, I honestly think it’s theee best wedding venue, caterer, house there is about 🫶🏽

We got married in December 2024, and are so glad we chose Pratis Barns as our venue. The venue itself is gorgeous and spacious and allows you the opportunity to bring so many personal touches into the day. The food was absolutely delicious and Patrick and the catering team were so flexible around the menu and dietary requirements. Louise and Nicola were very supportive and helpful in the run up to the wedding and on the day, helping everything go smoothly. Pratis House is gorgeous and it was so special to spend the day before and after in such a beautiful location with our nearest and dearest. We can't recommend Pratis Barns enough! -

We had our wedding here on 26.10.2024. I could cry even thinking about it❤️ It was perfect from start to finish!! Leading up to the wedding we were invited to a food tasting day at the venue with all couples from that year. It was nice to know the owners and staff wanted to treat us so well and it was great getting to know more about the place. We were invited to view the venue with family too which was an amazing day. We kept in great contact with our wedding Coordinator Louise (who is an absolute diamond💎) from emails to face times. Nothing was too big of an ask, when we were unsure she gave us her knowledge but also allowed us to make the day our own. We were able to supply our own drinks for drinks reception too. The day before the wedding was so emotional, getting to go into a venue and decorate the way I had invisioned, a day that I had dreamed about for years, seeing it all come together! On our wedding day, Louise made everything go smoothly from start to finish. She was my biggest hype girl and there was nothing she didn't do for us both. The barn for reception is stunning in itself, the other 2 areas are amazing. We have a very large wedding and it was just perfect for our volume of guests. Louise was our master of ceremonies too and had all our suppliers on speed dial incase anything went wrong (when there was a delay with a supplier -not related to venue - we never even knew as she took care of it without causing any stress to us on our special day) which was brilliant! The grounds are stunning for photos too.
My husband and I could never have dreamed for a better day❤️ we would do it all over again at this exact venue as ahhhh first class from everyone. The bar staff, the grounds staff who had the place looking phenomenal, Nicola and Patrick who know their stuff and who have created such an amazing venue. Our hype girl and forever member of the girl gang Louise. Everything - Chef's kiss .
Pratis Barns has a very special place in our hearts and we're so grateful to everyone. What a venue ❤️ -

When we picked Pratis it was a building site but we could still tell how amazing it would be and it exceeded all our expectations. They have their own on site catering with Patrick and his team so it takes away the stress of trying to find a caterer that knows the venue. The food is incredible and all our guests with allergies were well taken care of. There’s enough do it yourself to make it your own but the team are there to help you bring it to life. The wonder room is full of amazing props and decorations which means you don’t have to go around sourcing decorations yourself.
Nicola led the day for us and preempted everything - always ready to answer questions, had canapés kept to the side for us and herded our guests in the correct direction!
Pratis house was beautiful and really allowed us to relax the night before the wedding. -

We recently got married at Pratis Barns and I can't praise the staff & the venue enough! Our co-oridnator Louise was an absolute dream to work with in planning but also during the day - she kept us both calm, kept the day running smoothly and was such a vibe to be around! The food was also amazing - we had so many compliments from our guests saying that it was the best food they have had at a wedding! Huge thanks to Patrick & the team! The staff working on the day were all so lovely too. The venue itself is just incredible, a really good option for a barn style wedding without too much DIY involved - there is even a prop room to help you decorate! We stayed onsite at Pratis House for two nights and it is exceptional! You can tell that lots of time, effort and attention to detail has gone into the house and the venue. Thanks again to all the staff - we had the most incredible wedding at Pratis Barns and can't thank you enough for making it the perfect day! xx -

Our wedding at Pratis Barns was simply magical, it was one of the best days of our lives! The team is incredible, we can't thank Louise, Nicola, Patrick, Lorna with Flowers at the Barn, and all of the other lovely people who work there enough for all of the hard work they put into making our wedding day amazing. Our guests raved about the food being some of the best they've ever had at a wedding, and multiple people said our wedding was the best they've ever been to (we agree)!
Louise is incredible, we had no worries on the day of the wedding because of how amazing she is at coordinating. We are based in Washington DC and even with the Atlantic Ocean between us we had full confidence the Pratis team would know how to pull off a great party! They have a whole supply closet full of decorations, which made decorating a breeze. Everything ran so smoothly and the grounds are stunning, it was truly a perfect day. We wish we could do it all over again! -
