We are writing this 1 week after the best day of our lives!! Nettlestead Place was the first and only venue we visited, and we knew straight away that this was the place we would get married. From Sharon’s excellent communication throughout the whole planning period, and her warm and friendly approach, to stunning gardens, the beautiful undercroft and Lewis and his team of bar staff, we knew we were going to be in good hands.
We sent so many emails with various queries ahead of the wedding, and Sharon was always very prompt and helpful in her replies and was very patient and flexible.
It is also worth noting that we had a guest with significant mobility issues, but this was not an issue and her needs were met.
So many people have said what an excellent place to have a wedding, it really did have everything!
We are so grateful for the wonderful team for helping us organise the wedding of our dreams!!

We got married at Nettlestead place in June 2025, Sharon was amazing from start to finish, the was very responsive on emails, answering our many questions - nothing was too much. The day ran really smoothly and we had a brilliant time, the only thing that was a little bit of a downer was that guests didn't seem to get all of their soft drinks they were due to get during the meal - but only 1 or 2 mentioned that to me.. other than that from before through to after the wedding I cannot recommed Nettlestead enough -

Thank you soooooooo much for providing a magical, brilliant, super, amazing (there are so may more positive adjectives I can use to describe the event) day for my Son and Daughter. Everything was perfect, the staff waiting on the tables were soooooo professional and did it in military fashion and timely, wow, the food was amazing and the venue, wow wow wow. I have no more words, I'm even filling up just thinking how everything went soooo smoothly and that is credit to you and your staff. I have had so many messages from friends and family discussing the views and beautiful venue, delicious food, friendly atmosphere, timely service and great organisation.The weather was great too and made the ceremony brilliant. I cannot thank you enough for giving Ryan and Lucy THE MOST PERFECT DAY. -

We truly enjoyed our absolute dream wedding at Nettlestead Place. As soon as we stepped through to the gardens, we knew 100% that this would be our venue. It’s totally stunning and I’m just so happy we found it and got married in the rose garden. Sharon was our wedding coordinator and she was amazing throughout – always answering my constant little questions (nothing was ever too big or small!) and was essential in helping us make sure the day ran smoothly. It was honestly a perfect day and I just wish I could do it all over again. I would recommend Nettlestead Place to anyone who loves the beautiful English outdoors. I will treasure the memories I have there forever and I really hope to visit on any future open garden days they may hold! -

Rich and I got married at Nettlestead in August, and we can honestly say it was the venue of our dreams. We cannot thank Sharon and her team for helping us to insure that the day was everything we wanted and more. They went above and beyond for us. The rose garden was the perfect setting for our ceremony and the grounds were stunning and immaculately kept! It was perfect to have our whole wedding day in one location, but with enough separation to make each part of the day individually special.

Nettlestead Place really is a beautiful place to get married, from the entrance driveway to the main house, gorgeous rose garden, lawns and view from the wedding marquee. Sharon was extremely helpful from start to finish with great communication throughout the process and was a very reassuring and calming presence on the day itself. The bar staff could not have been lovelier and the food was first class. A very special place steeped in history with real English charm. -

Nettlestead Place is everything we wanted and more. The venue has several mini locations and hidden spots within it, which allowed us to take our guests on a scenic journey – from canapés in the rose garden to dancing in the marquee – and provided the perfect backdrop for photographs. The food matched the beautiful surroundings, with many of our guests claiming it's the best wedding breakfast they've ever had, but it was undoubtedly the warm, capable hands of the Nettlestead team that allowed the day to be the success that it was. Do not hesitate to book if you're looking to have a fun, relaxed and joyful event. -

We saw Nettlestead for the first time in the October rain and we knew that if we loved it that much in the rain, it would be perfect in the spring/summer.
Sharon was always on hand to help, answer any questions and make sure everything ran smoothly on the day.
We had the ability to visit in the lead up to our day to check any details or just enjoy the grounds for a short time.
Everyone said it was such an unusual and beautiful place, they had never been to another wedding like it.Nettlestead Place's reply:

Our perfect wedding day 07.10.23
From the moment my now Husband and I stepped foot on the grounds of Nettlestead Place for an initial viewing, we instantly fell in love and it was a huge yes. Marc and I had our wedding reception at Nettlestead Place on the 7th October 2023.
Sharon our wedding coordinator was perfect from the word go, so very accommodating and responsive, who goes above and beyond in her role. She is one of a kind and a beautiful soul.
6 months on, our guests still highly compliment Nettlestead Place and the food, of which was perfectly produced by EasyDine.
We truly had the most beautiful wedding day, the sun was shining and the grounds were immaculate. The design of the marquee too is fantastic!
We couldn't recommend Nettlestead Place, Sharon, her team and the EasyDine Caterers enough, you won't be disappointed from the service they all provide.
Thank you for making our wedding day, a wonderful day to remember for the rest of our lives.
