Having our wedding at Mitton Hall was the perfect experience from beginning to end. From the first meeting with Sarah, then with Emily and the other ladies in charge of organizing it, they were excellent, professionals, sweet and truly seemed to care about our day. It didn't feel as if we were "just one more couple" getting married there.
The day of the wedding, it all went perfectly smoothly. We had Chad as our event manager and he was a star. Also Emma at reception! The warmth, the timing, the way of handling all situations, it was all that we could ask for. The whole staff from Mitton Hall, everyone involved in our day, made sure to be as helpful and caring as possible, which made all the difference.
The place itself is a dream, and it felt like a fairytale to get married at such a venue.
I can't recommend it highly enough!
Now with the new garden, it is looking great for a spring/summer wedding outdoors!
Mitton Hall is the perfect place not only to have your wedding there, but also if you want to just go for an afternoon tea, or for a quiet weekend at a beautiful countryside location.

It is difficult to put into words just how much Mitton Hall means to us after having our wedding there.
From the very beginning of our wedding journey, the entire team made us feel completely supported. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, no question was too small and, perhaps most importantly for a bride with a lot of ideas, they genuinely listened to what we wanted our wedding to feel like.
We had a very clear vision for our day and put an enormous amount of thought into every little detail. This eventually resulted in what became known as our very detailed “wedding bible”, containing pretty much everything you could possibly need to know about our plans! Rather than being overwhelmed by it, the team completely embraced it. They took the time to understand all of those little details and worked so hard behind the scenes to bring everything together exactly as we had imagined.
Seeing all of those months of planning transformed into reality when we walked into the spaces on our wedding day was incredibly special.
And we genuinely couldn't have chosen a more beautiful venue for a Christmas wedding.
Mitton Hall already has so much character, warmth and atmosphere, but at Christmas it becomes something else entirely. It felt cosy, romantic and completely magical. From the beautiful interiors to the grounds and all of the festive details, it provided the most incredible backdrop to our day and looked absolutely stunning in our photographs and videos.
What stood out just as much as the venue itself, though, was the team behind it. There was so much happening throughout our wedding, with lots of suppliers, entertainment, surprises and carefully planned details to coordinate, yet everything flowed so smoothly. As the bride and groom, we were able to simply enjoy our wedding rather than worrying about what was happening next, which is probably one of the biggest compliments we could give.
The care and attention that went into the day was obvious. We felt as though the team genuinely wanted our wedding to be everything we had hoped for, rather than it ever feeling like just another wedding taking place at the venue.
And the food absolutely deserves a mention of its own.
We already knew from our menu tasting that the food was going to be incredible, but everything served throughout our wedding day was just as amazing. So many of our guests commented on how fabulous the food was, and even now it is something people still mention when talking about our wedding. From the wedding breakfast through to breakfast the following morning, the quality was exceptional. Knowing how many people were being catered for and still having everything taste as good as it had at our menu tasting was seriously impressive.
There is also something incredibly special about knowing that our relationship with Mitton Hall didn't have to end when our wedding did.
We can return for dinner, anniversaries and future special occasions, walk back through those doors and immediately be surrounded by memories of one of the happiest days of our lives. We already know we'll find ourselves pointing out where particular moments happened and reminiscing about the day every time we visit.
Mitton Hall will always be more than simply the place where we got married. It is now part of our story and somewhere that will forever hold an incredibly special place in both of our hearts.
To every single person who played a part in bringing our wedding together, thank you. Thank you for embracing our ideas (and the wedding bible!), for taking such incredible care of us and our guests, and for giving us the most beautiful setting in which to create memories we'll treasure for the rest of our lives.
We genuinely couldn't imagine having celebrated our wedding anywhere else. -

We wanted to say a big thank you to all at Mitton Hall for everything they did to contribute to our wedding a couple of days ago.
The preparation and communication was excellent, and we met with Georgia - who was able to guide us and for whom nothing was too much trouble.
On the day, the wedding team took over, with Chester making sure everything ran smoothly.

A day to remember
Georgia was fantastic one of the event team. She listened to our questions had all the answers and helped us plan a perfect day. The wedding day was superbly organised and Chester was incredible, they kept us all on track and ready for each step which made the whole day a day to remember, one of fun, laughter, happy tears and so much laughter. I don't have any hesitation in recommending Mitton Hall as a perfect venue for your wedding and if the weather permits getting married outside is unforgettable. -

My partner and I got married here on Valentines Day 2026. ALL of the team went above and beyond from the dream wedding showcase we attended right upon till the day of the wedding. No one there could do enough for us and it was not just us that noticed that, our suppliers, bridal party and guests also said the same.
We can't thank Chester and the Wedding Coordinator team enough for making our special day a true fairy tale.

Perfect Christmas wedding!
The day was everything we could have wanted and more. Mitton Hall, even on the dullest day, is the most beautiful venue. From the early start to finish the staff were none stop helpful - doing things before we had even thought about them.
I (the bride) am quite a control freak and at no point during the day / night did I have to ask or even think about anything. It really was the best day.
We had such an amazing time, everything that we had put forward had been dealt with and included. The contact from start to finish was fantastic. They dealt with the last minute changes, listened to everything we wanted to include, organised everything down to a T.
The day passed by so quickly, to the point we were having such a good time we we forgot to even try our wedding cake / the evening pizzas. They had cake boxed up and in our room for when we got back and had pizza brought to us in the main room. Highly highly recommend! And the venue at Christmas is even more special. -

Well what can we say...Mitton Hall was the most perfect wedding venue for us.
We both fell in love with it during our viewing instantly for the old/new layout but the team are what sold us as you could tell they knew exactly what they were doing and how much they cared!
We cannot thank the wedding team especially Eleanor and Joseph for their outstanding services. Eleanor was our first person of contact who helped us fill out all our wedding details and managed any changes or questions we had! Every time we spoke to her, it was like speaking to an old friend and she made us feel so special. What a truly wonderful and professional individual.
Now onto the day...Joseph ran our wedding day, and we were so excited to work with him as he appreciated our nerdy side to the wedding of Doctor Who and the day ran so smoothly without a single hitch. We cannot thank him enough as he was there checking in on us constantly and guided us throughout the day and made sure we remembered it was our day and to enjoy it!
Honestly if you are looking to book a wedding venue, I would definitely highly recommend this venue as they made our day extra special and we cannot thank them enough. -

Wow. Mitton Hall went above and beyond to ensure our wedding planning and wedding day went as smoothly as possibly. From our initial venue viewing with Becky to enjoying breakfast with Josh in the restaurant the morning after our wedding. The staff are unbelievably professional, calm, welcoming, considerate and kind. Josh and Alex looked after us on the wedding day and they made the day so easy! Josh led the way and all of our guests were very complimentary of his wonderful team. The venue is perfect - a perfect mix of modern and old decor, it needs very minimal decorations as it's already so beautiful. We were blessed with nice weather so got to make the most of the grounds and terrace. The food was outstanding and everything just ran so smoothly. We looked at almost ten venues and nothing compared to Mitton Hall - excellent value for money!! Great accommodation and could not recommend highly enough.
