Great wedding party venue

We had our wedding party at the Mercure and the package included everything that we needed. The outdoor area was great to have on a hot summers day. Good food and the DJ they provided was great. Would definitely use the Mercure Tunbridge Wells for another event!

Wonderful venue for a wedding

From our first enquiry about holding our wedding at the Mercure Pembury up until the wedding day Jade and the team were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble and communication was good. We were made to feel very special.
The bridal suite was lovely with plenty of room to get ready.
The room we were married in was perfect,
The staff were all friendly and helpful and ensured the whole day ran smoothly ,
The food for the wedding breakfast and buffet was very good with plenty of compliments from our guests who enjoyed it.
Booking as a package was so helpful and it was very good value. I would highly recommend the Mercure at Pembury for a wedding. Thank-you all

Amazing. Exceeded every expectation

Best wedding I've ever been to, and it was mine!
We had a small ceremony with 45 odd guests but a big evening party catering for 130. Great location, easy to find and get to for all our guests with ample parking, friendly staff from Sophie the wedding coordinator who was on it throughout, the service and the food at the tasting where we first met the lovely Ernest, from the moment we checked in with Mina at reception on the day, to the catering team and Tim who all couldn't do enough, the lovely bar staff who had amazing energy throughout the evening, the DJ Joe who was full of surprises, and Amanda and Andrea who were on hand all day for our every need. And not forgetting all those who worked behind the scenes to deliver tasty food that met all our dietary needs, and an exceptionally clean hotel. Great value venue for a day that was above and beyond our expectations.
We have left there with new friends and smiles bigger than my dress!

Dream wedding day

From start to finish was perfect the staff was all so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing all our guest all commented on how delicious it was.
I could not recommend more the mercure hotel we had the most amazing wedding day was completely stress free and we can't thank all the team enough for making our day so special.

Everything you could wish for!

A week later and we still haven’t come back down to earth – we just want to relive every second of our wedding at the Mercure Tunbridge Wells. It’s been a long journey, complete with COVID postponement, but it was worth every single day of the extra year’s wait. We cannot thank the hotel enough for their support concerning this – they made what could have been a very stressful and costly process so easy and at absolutely no extra cost to us at all. Sophie and her team have been a dream, and on the day, the coordinators, restaurant/kitchen staff, etc were all wonderful. Professional, attentive and so friendly! We would recommend this venue to absolutely everyone. We had the wedding anyone and everyone would wish for!

Fantastic Wedding Day

We only had 6 months to plan our special day and Sophie was so good we didn't worry about a thing she help organise it perfectly and stress free. The day was perfect from when I arrived all the staff that played a part in our special day was so helpful and friendly. All the cooked food was perfect all served hot and quickly and all our guests commented on how nice the food was. Our experience we couldn't fault we stayed at the hotel 2 nights after our wedding and the staff continued with the great service and made us feel welcome. Would highly recommend.

So accommodating

Sophie made this experience as easy and enjoyable as she possibly could. She was always quick to respond, kept us in the loop with relevant government changes and was so flexible and accommodating with last minute changes and personal things we wanted to make the day special. We honestly could not have asked for more and we had the most special and intimate wedding thanks to Sophie and the team at the Mercure.

Couldnt have chosen a better venue

A massive thank you for making our special day run so smoothly. Every single staff member from the organisation, waiters, waitresses, bar staff and receptionists were extremely friendly, professional and so approachable. It made our day relaxing and stress free so that we could enjoy the day. Every guest without fail said that the food and service was fantastic and that it was the best wedding they had been to. Thank you so much once again for a wonderful and memorable day.

Absolutely perfect!

We had our Wedding reception here this weekend and would like to thank all the staff very much for everything they have done to make our day run smoothly. Our day was just perfect. From the very beginning talking to our Wedding organisers Sophie and Kirsten through to the actual day nothing was ever too much of a problem. The staff on the day were amazing very helpful making sure everything was to our liking. The food was amazing so a big thank you to the chef. All our friends and family commented to how lovely it was. Our room was lovely too. So a big thank you once again to all of the staff involved who helped make our day run smoothly ??
