From the first appointment to book the wedding until the day after the wedding everyone was so helpful. Any questions was easily answered with an email or a phonecall. The wedding day was perfect from start to finish. It was a smooth transition from every aspect of the day. The rooms looked beautiful and the food was lovely. Everyone enjoyed themselves. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking about booking a party or wedding here. -

We had are wedding on 24/10/25 its was the best day from start to Finnish the staff were very helpful friendly and the best we couldn't fault any part of are day the whole hotel staff went above and beyond to make are stay and wedding perfect we cant thank you all enough -

The Mercure hotel st Helen’s with it’s fantastic location is accessible for all, my husband and I has family travel from as far as Somerset to this absolutely stunning venue.
The lighting, decor and huge open spaces really enhanced our wedding day -

Our wedding 18th July
We had our wedding here on the 18th July. Everything was perfect from start to finish.
Special thanks to Rebecca who worked hard behind the scenes planning the day and then handed us over to Jodie for the wedding day. Nothing was to much trouble, she even catered for our sons ceremony entrance. Jodie was always on hand and made sure the day ran smoothly. She even helped when my dress bust and wouldn't fasten.
The ceremony room & the pyramid suite were absolutely beautiful everything I had hoped it to be. The food was delicious and there was plentily of it to go round. The hotel room was gorgeous, very clean and comfortable.
We could not have wished for anything more. Thank you so much to all the staff at the Mercure St Helens for your warm welcome & professionalism throughout our stay and on our special day. Love Mr & Mrs Davies xx -

28.06.25 Wilde wedding x
We had our wedding on Saturday and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish.
Special thanks to Rebecca for all her hard work within the 12 months of planning and then we was handed over to Jodie for the wedding day.
Jodie was the absolute BEST, nothing was too much, continuously checking in with us if we needed anything etc and made me feel so at ease knowing she was there to sort whatever I needed her too. the room was set out beautifully, the evening buffet was absolutely delicious and there was PLENTY! I was worried Incase there wouldn’t be enough but I had nothing to worry about! The buffet was fresh and high quality! The hotel also left us cakes and a card in the room congratulating us which was a lovely touch! We went down for breakfast the next day which was also unreal! A choice of everything you could think of and all high quality! We then enjoyed a swim before heading home.
From start to finish our wedding day was perfect and we couldn’t have wished for anything more. Thank you so much Mercure St Helens. Love Mr & Mrs Wilde. X

Had our wedding here on the 21st June was absolutely was wondering, staff couldn't have been more accommodating, food was 10/10 couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else! Thank you again for giving us the perfect day! -

Thank you so much to the mercure hotel for an amazing beautiful day. Every staff member that we dealt with was utterly amazing and ensured our day ran smoothly and professionally. Couldn’t fault anything since the day we booked to the end of our wedding. Thank you so much, Jodie and the general manager you was both faultless on the day, bar staff was also great. Highly recommend and appreciate all the help!
