  Lovely wedding venue

  We’ve just had our wedding hosted by the Mercure Brighton and could not be happier with how they handled everything. Their event coordinator, Olivia, was absolutely brilliant from start to finish, (she had to take over the planning of the event from a previous colleague and made such a smooth transition that nothing ever felt disjointed as the planning changed hands). Everything was so thoughtfully executed as they tried to help us to have the perfect day. She was always very helpful with answering our millions of questions and nothing was ever too difficult.
  She was there from early in the morning until late in the evening for our day, despite having done a wedding the day before too. She even walked with me over to the ceremony venue as it was just over the road to ensure everything made a start as smoothly as it could - she also gave a lot of comforting words during this time to ease my nerves. All of the staff were particularly helpful and amazing throughout the day but we particularly wanted to praise Olivia, Salah, and Eoin who were all incredibly amazing throughout our day and went above and beyond for us. The food was amazing, we got a lot of compliments on it. The room was beautiful, and the staff set up the room even better than how we imagined it. Olivia also went the extra mile and designed a place card with our guests meal choices on, and she added a little logo that fit with the theme of our wedding, my husband has to ask me if I had made it because we just couldn’t believe the attention to detail, it was a lovely and thoughtful surprise. Thank you so much to all the staff here; we had an amazing day with you.

  Amazing wedding reception

  We had an amazing wedding reception at the hotel. All the staff were amazing & we couldn't have asked for a better day. The ballroom looked fabulous and we would like to thank you for all your hard work & planning you put in to our day & for making it so special.
  
  Once again a massive thank you for everything you did for us.

  absolutely lovely everything

  On my behalf I can say that it was absolutely lovely-everything –the venue and mainly you guys. Staff were amazing-everyone was saying how professional and prompt the service was… and food was great as well…
  Antonio, you were so calm and reassuring-thank you -we enjoyed the whole day very much….without you it would not have been that great…
  
  We said to each other that we would have not changed anything about the day and that we were very lucky that we found and chose your venue for our wedding…all our guests absolutely loved it…I think that I keep repeating myself but it is only because we had the most amazing time…
  
  If we could do it all over again we would do it in a blink of the eye…anyway we will officially email you at some point…
  
  Thank you so much…hope we haven’t forgotten anything….
  
  Also, your bosses are very lucky to have such an amazing, professional and dedicated staff.

  I could not had asked for a better day

  the wedding was fantastic I couldn't had asked for a better day. The whole team was just lovely, if I could do it all again I'd still choose you guys!
  I honestly can't thank you guys enough for everything that you did, everyone kept on telling me how friendly your staff was.

  We had such a great fabulous day

  Wow where do I start ,from the first moment of booking you (Antonio) were on hand to help me with my daft questions and provide guidance when I needed it. Everything about the day was amazing! The bridal room was lovely,the ceremony room looked fabulous, food amazing. (everyone commented how nice it was) The staff were lovely. You personally were amazing in organizing everyone, helping me with my nerves and making sure the day ran smoothly which it 100% did thanks to you! I must mention also Ola, she was so sweet regarding the cake. The ballroom at the wedding breakfast looked stunning and in the evening even more of a wow factor.
  We had such a great fabulous day everything about the venue was amazing.

  Brilliant day

  We had a brilliant day and just wanted to thank you (Antonio) and the team for all your efforts. Our family and friends also want to pass on their thanks to the Mercure.
  
  We had a short time to organise the wedding but we found that you where very helpful with the whole process and made it simple for us to organise. I thought Rebecca did a great job on the day too. Special mention to bar staff Alex and co who where very good natured and made it fun for the evening guests.

  "Oh how much we loved last weekend! Everything went just how we could have imagined. Thank you to the both of you for everything you did and of course for the months before.
