A Perfect Winter Christmas Wedding with Outstanding Service and Incredible Food

We had our winter Christmas wedding at the Meon Valley Hotel, and it was absolutely magical from start to finish. The festive atmosphere, seasonal décor and cosy setting created the perfect backdrop for our special day.

A huge part of what made everything run so smoothly was Donna, who was truly top dog. Her organisation, calm confidence and attention to detail were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble, and she made us feel completely at ease the day before and on the day itself. Donna was brilliantly supported by Nicole, Gemma and Albert, who were all fantastic. The team worked seamlessly together, were incredibly professional, and always on hand with a smile. Their hard work didn’t go unnoticed by us or our guests.

The food throughout the entire day was exceptional, and we honestly could not fault a single dish. We started with a delicious tomato soup or chicken and bacon salad, followed by beautifully cooked turkey roast or sea bass. The vegetables were cooked to perfection, which so often gets overlooked but were absolutely spot on. Desserts were just as impressive, the huge apple pie and custard was lush and the sticky toffee pudding was a huge hit.

In the evening, we opted for the BBQ food buffet, which was a brilliant choice. Guests commented throughout and even after our wedding how fantastic the food was, and not one person had a bad word to say. From start to finish, the quality, flavour and presentation were outstanding.

The day flowed perfectly, the service was excellent, and our guests felt well cared for from arrival right through to the end of the night. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or a better team to trust with such an important day. We would wholeheartedly recommend Meon Valley Hotel to anyone considering a winter or Christmas wedding.

Forever grateful xx

We had to leave a short review to show appreciation for Nicole, Donna and Tom. You guys worked so so hard but with a smile and made it the best day we could of possibly dreamt of.
All our guests commented how friendly and welcomed they felt which makes a big difference people who really do care.
The food was delicious even better than the wedding tasting so a big thank you to the chefs.
Again thanks guys we will never ever forget the best day of are lives x

Magical day, can we do it all again!

We were so happy with our wedding venue and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Nicole and Donna from the wedding team were so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable, and they made us feel completely looked after throughout the whole process. The food was amazing and the service was absolutely perfect. We couldn’t recommend the venue and the wonderful team enough!

Perfect day

Our wedding venue was amazing! The staff were so friendly, and everything went perfectly from start to finish.
Couldn’t have asked for a better day. We can't wait to come back for anniversary stay!

We cannot stop smiling we did it!

Thank you guys for the best day we could of imagined. Will never forget staff kindness calming my nerves before marrying my soulmate.
Wedding meal was fantastic, staff on hand making sure everything ran like a song. DJ superb. We would recommend this hotel and staff 100 times over.

Incredible day

If you are looking for a personal venue I would recommend Meon. Not only did we have the most incredible day I gained a bond with Nicole who advised and supported me, not just on a professional level but became a close friend. Thank you all at Meon we will be back soon!

Extremely grateful

What can I say apart from it being the happiest day of our lives! I can not recommend this hotel enough Nicole gave us so much advice to help prioritise what we needed and things we didn't to work with the budget we had, but still be exactly what we wanted, she became a dear friend who truly cares and I will be forever grateful to her and to all the staff.

Couldn't of asked for a better day!

We had our ceremony and reception here and honestly couldn't have asked for a better day! Everything ran so perfectly and the staff were amazing, really looked after us from start to finish. Huge thanks to everyone at Meon for making it so special!

Fantastic!

We had our wedding here and honestly, it was amazing. Nicole and her team were incredible from start to finish, super friendly, helpful, and made the whole process feel so easy. You can tell they really care about what they do and about making sure everything goes smoothly. The venue was beautiful, everything was well organised, and we felt so looked after the whole time. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

We got married here and had the ceremony in their big room with are very own private terrace it was perfect!
Event team worked so hard throughout are day and before with my many questions, emails and calls I was a bridezilla!
If you are looking for a all in one venue for a good price and staff who really care in getting your day right this is perfect place to book, they are not just interested in selling they worked with me and hubby to get it within are budget offering advice which helped us keep within are means!
