We started with a drinks reception with canapés while we had couple photos. So many of our guests said they were really impressed with the staff. Apparently they had found our vegetarian friends and went to them first with the veggie canapés. They even saved some for us when we finished our photos and they were so beautiful and delicious. Then we had more group photos, both inside the mansion and the gardens are so picturesque so we have beautiful photos! Then we had the wedding breakfast which was really tasty and well presented. We had speeches and then we had a band for the evening. It was really lovely seeing some guests dancing, some relaxing in the bar and a lot of people outside enjoying golden hour and kids running around enjoying the garden games. Working with the venue management team was delightfully easy, they were incredibly organised, fast to reply and were happy to accommodate parts of the wedding that were a bit unusual, like bringing in our own signs and tables and doing our own floral arrangements. We felt in safe hands throughout the whole process and feel like what we paid for was worth every penny. Having such a good venue meant so much went smoothly and it contributed a lot to us and our guests having a great time. Would recommend it every time, literally no complaints! -

We cannot recommend this venue enough. From the very start, we knew we wanted Marden Park as our wedding venue, and could not have been in safer hands that those of the staff. They really took control, guided us through everything and had complete flexibility to meet everything we wanted. The day was amazing from start to finish. Guests were full of compliments not just about the beautiful setting but the incredible kindness and attentiveness of all the staff there, from the hosts to the catering team. The day was an absolute dream. We all loved the beauty of the venue and the vast amount of space all guests had to roam and enjoy the beautiful grounds. We cannot recommend Marden Park enough. 5 star review for a five star wedding venue
We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding venue. From our very first visit, the staff were incredibly organised and professional. We felt that Susan and Clare genuinely cared about our day and listened to our vision for the day.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning and looks even better in person than it does in the photos. The grounds are beautiful and were a wonderful addition for our guests to enjoy throughout the day. There are also countless picturesque spots for photography, which gave us some truly amazing wedding photos.
The catering staff introduced themselves to us and were attentive throughout the day. We especially appreciated how they made sure we had canapés and drinks, even holding refreshments back for us when we were busy, so we didn't miss out on anything.
One thing that really stood out was how accommodating the team were before the wedding. We were able to visit the venue several times by appointment, had a wedding rehearsal, and we were able to test our music beforehand. A special thank you to Susan and Clare, who were so friendly throughout the planning process and kindly helped my husband with setting up on the morning of the wedding.
On the day itself, everything ran so smoothly that we were able to completely relax and enjoy every moment. The team took care of everything behind the scenes, meaning we never had to worry about a thing. The care takers were so helpful the next day when we collected everything too. Our suppliers said that the venue were very helpful to work with too on their side.
Thank you for helping make our wedding day so special. We would wholeheartedly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a beautiful setting and an exceptional team. ❤️Marden Park Mansion's reply:

Beyond our wildest dreams!!
From the initial venue tour to the big day, our experience was beyond our wildest dreams! Susan, Faye, and the entire team were incredibly attentive from the very start. We have always adored the countryside around Woldingham, so we were thrilled to discover that they hosted weddings. The building was exquisite, and the grounds were absolutely stunning.
We still beam with joy when we think about our wedding day. Everything was set up perfectly, and all our guests felt relaxed and at home. Many of them told us it was the best wedding food they had ever tasted, and we wholeheartedly agree!
The photos truly speak for themselves, but we genuinely had the most perfect day. We would recommend Marden Park as a wedding venue a thousand times over!

I couldn't recommend Marden Park Mansion enough. The team is so friendly and hands-on and went out of their way to make my day perfect. I planned my wedding from Asia and all communication was thorough, personal and fast, I had complete confidence in Faye and the team so when I arrived back for the wedding it was all very smooth and stress free. Marden Park Mansion's team was so personal, compared to other venues we had visited before I felt really taken care of. We were able to set up the day before and come over the next day to collect, there wasn't an immediate rush.
It was stress free having all the catering part of the venue, with a great range of options, delicious food and fantastic service. The biggest selling point for us was the space itself. Set inside a beautiful old manor house with lots of character with large gardens for beautiful photos. The venue is perfect for all weathers, despite getting married in July we did have rain, but with Marden Park Mansion, there are so many different areas from the drinks reception room, to the large wedding breakfast room and then a separate room for dancing and another room for the bar with sofas. There were no delays in needing to empty the room and have the musicians set up, waiting around outside, we could seamlessly move from the wedding breakfast straight onto the dancefloor, with the band ready to go! The whole evening ran perfectly and there was so much space for everyone to dance, eat, sit and talk without all being stuck in the same one room all day long. It was perfect!
