24/07 - A very organised and well-planned process from start to finish. We both felt informed throughout the planning stage and had quick responses to any query. The day went absolutely perfect. The setting was absolutely perfect and the food was 10/10 and complimented by so many guests! Would recommend to anyone! We would not change a thing. -

We could not have asked for a better experience with Manor By The Lake! From the very first email to the big day itself, we felt fully supported every single step of the way. The entire planning process was seamless, but it was on the day itself that they truly shined. We had a beautiful wedding day at Manor by the Lake! The grounds were gorgeous and we loved being able to utilize the full space. It created a great flow to our day that guests really appreciated. There are so many add ons you can coordinate directly with MBTL that made planning so much easier-- an in house DJ, ice cream and cocktail carts, fire pits, a photo booth, table linens and candelabras-- the list goes on and on! The food was also incredible. Overall, we had a great experience.Manor by the Lake's reply:

Looked to book our wedding here, we're having a hybrid English/Hindu wedding.
The venue is stunning but don't be fooled, especially if you're planning an Asian wedding.
They have no idea what is what with the celebrations/traditions, the ballroom is not big enough with a dancefloor, no matter how much they try to reassure you that it is (they have an answer for everything).
They ONLY offer 2 Indian style caterers, which after speaking to other wedding planners and venues, are not a great choice compared to what else there is in the market.
They hassle you to book but then go radio silent and then even though they tell you they will give you more grace with your deposit because of your reservations about the size, they'll refuse to refund you. -

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue than Manor by the Lake. From the very beginning, the team were incredibly responsive, answering all of our questions promptly and making the whole planning process feel stress-free and enjoyable.
On the day itself, everything ran so smoothly thanks to their professionalism, organisation and attention to detail. The staff genuinely cared about us and our guests, ensuring we were looked after every step of the way. They brought our vision to life perfectly and made the day even more special than we had imagined.
We truly couldn’t fault a thing. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue with an exceptional team behind it, we would wholeheartedly recommend Manor by the Lake. -

Absolutely stunning venue in a beautiful tranquil setting yet close to town! You wouldn’t even know it was there unless you were looking. Service exceptional. All I would say is that the lodge on site is not ideal for a going night sleep before the wedding if there’s another wedding taking place the day before as the lodge is right next door to the ballroom and guests kept us awake until the early hours. The main bedrooms in the manor are very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. Would highly recommend
