Choosing Knowsley Hall as our wedding venue was the best decision we could have made. From the very beginning, the team went above and beyond to bring our vision to life. They were a joy to work with throughout every step of the planning process—professional, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure every detail was just right and try new things.
On our wedding day, the staff treated our guests with such warmth and kindness, ensuring that everyone felt welcomed and cared for. Their professionalism and attention to detail were second to none.
The venue itself is breathtaking. Knowsley Hall is rich in history and beauty, with stunning views in every direction. The grounds create the most magical backdrop for photos, and the accommodations were an unforgettable experience in themselves.
We honestly couldn’t recommend Knowsley Hall more highly—it’s the perfect setting for a dream wedding, and we’ll cherish our memories there forever. -

We cannot recommend Knowsley Hall highly enough to any couple seeking a truly unforgettable wedding venue.
Our wedding day was nothing short of magical, and we will treasure the memories forever. Knowsley Hall exceeded every expectation and delivered a once-in-a-lifetime experience that felt genuinely special and uniquely ours.
We were married at Knowsley Hall on 21st March 2025, having only secured our date in November 2024; we can honestly say that we couldn’t have imagined a more perfect setting for our special day.
No other venue came close to matching the grandeur, charm, and impeccable service offered here. From the moment we arrived, Knowsley Hall stood out as something truly extraordinary. The historic stately home, approached through stunning private parkland, offers an incredible sense of exclusivity and timeless elegance that immediately makes your day feel special.
The venue itself is breathtaking. The architecture, interiors, and immaculately maintained grounds provide a spectacular backdrop at every turn. Whether indoors or outdoors, every space feels refined and luxurious, yet warm and welcoming. The State Dining Room, where we held our wedding breakfast, deserves special mention. The room is absolutely magnificent — grand yet intimate, with stunning period features that create a sense of occasion without feeling overwhelming. It provided the perfect setting for our wedding breakfast, elevating the meal into a truly elegant and memorable experience. Our guests were in awe of the setting, and the photographs captured throughout the day were exquisite.
What truly elevates Knowsley Hall above all other venues, however, is the exceptional team. From our very first enquiry, the staff were friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive. The planning process felt entirely personal to us — never transactional or rushed. The initial viewing, menu tasting, and ongoing communication were all handled with care, patience, and genuine enthusiasm for our wedding.
Knowsley Hall’s approach to weddings is both flexible and thoughtful. They went above and beyond to accommodate our bespoke requests, working seamlessly with our chosen suppliers and ensuring that every detail was carefully coordinated. Their experience and attention to detail gave us complete confidence, allowing us to relax and enjoy the lead-up to the day without stress.
On the wedding day itself, everything ran perfectly and seamlessly. The staff were discreet yet attentive, professional yet warm, ensuring that both we and our guests felt completely looked after. The level of service throughout the day was impeccable, and the calm efficiency of the team meant that the entire celebration flowed effortlessly from start to finish.
The experience extended the wedding day itself - the overnight accommodation for our guests was simply sensational; beautifully appointed rooms that perfectly matched the elegance and character of the Hall, offering exceptional comfort and luxury. Our guests repeatedly commented on how special it felt to stay within the Hall itself, adding an extra layer of magic to the celebration.
The following morning was equally impressive. The breakfast was as carefully considered and flawlessly delivered as the wedding breakfast itself, providing a relaxed yet refined conclusion to the celebrations - a wonderful final experience for both us and our guests, allowing everyone to reflect on the previous day in a warm and unhurried atmosphere.
When considering the setting, service, organisation, and overall experience, Knowsley Hall offers outstanding value for money. The combination of a world-class venue and an incredible team, creates an experience that truly cannot be matched elsewhere.

A fairy tale wedding
Knowsley hall from the minute we entered on their open day were so welcome, kind and professional. The service they offered made the wedding process very easy, I had no stress and knew everything would be done to make the day perfect, on the day guests couldn’t believe how amazing the service was, especially older guests with extra needs being cared for extremely well. The staff truly show how amazing this venue is. I couldn’t have asked for a better day. Truly a one of a kind venue with spectacular photographic grounds. I would recommend this venue to anyone! -

Wow. Amazing from start to finish!
We went to an open day at Knowsley Hall. When we drove up the drive to the venue it took our breath away. We initially thought that it was going to be way out of our budget but we chose a date 3 months away as the venue has an offer on which we thought was amazing value. We thought organising a wedding in 3 months was going to be impossible and stressful but not at all, especially with the help of the staff who were brilliant.
The building is beautiful and historic we loved it from the second we walked in and our guests still talk to us about it. Many want to go back for other events too. The staff at the venue dressed it for us. We had options to use their items and added our own which the staff laid out for us exactly as we wanted it. They set up our singer and band we had to worry about nothing.
We went to taste the food and choose our menu which was so special and wow the food was amazing. Along with the wine we chose our guests told us they had felt utterly spoiled and were incredibly grateful. There was never an empty glass either :)
I cannot tell you how amazing the staff were throughout planning and the day itself. So professional but yet made us feel comfortable and special. We worried about nothing. They made sure the day was so smooth.
Family and friends who stayed over night loved the rooms and the breakfast the next morning was outstanding!
Our evening guests could not believe the venue. At night when you drive up the drive to the venue it is all lit up and looks spectacular.
We had a winter wedding around Valentine’s Day. The rooms had open fires burning which added to an amazing atmosphere.
We genuinely cannot recommend Knowsley Hall enough! Our only regret is that it only lasted a day!!

Knowsley Hall was my wife's dream venue. It met and exceeded every expectation. Every member of staff is dedicated and exemplary. From our first viewing to our special day, they were on hand to help us make sure our day was perfect. The day itself went without a hitch thanks to all of the staff there. The venue itself is beautiful, the food is wonderful and the bedrooms are gorgeous. It is a stereotype, but true, to say that it was the best day of our lives. -

Truly the best wedding venue my daughters wedding was magical perfect everything when perfectly as planned all staff from beginning to the end when above and beyond to make everything go as planned and made all our guests and the he bride and groom feel special highly recommended -
