Our wedding day at the most incredible wedding venue (in the world!!) there just aren’t quite enough words that would do the venue justice. you have to experience it, feel it to get it. From the moment we booked our day, everything has been easy, stress free and enjoyable, and that’s because of the staff. In particular Rhian who looked after the start of the process, then Zoe who was just absolutely phenomenal. The whole day she was just calm, but sorted everything, nothing was ever too much to ask of her and she always thought of the little things I hadn’t. Nicole took over in the night and was also amazing!
The venue is beautiful, spotlessly clean with amazing gardens and surroundings for photographs!
The food - just wow! We had bbq for our wedding food then chippy lane supper for the evening. All of the guests were blown away by how different it was but just how tasty it all was, and so much of it!!
Aled & Scott - take a bow. 5 star. And to the waiting staff, you were all so lovely!
A huge shout out also to the bar staff - alistair, Joel & sacha - you ensured my Prosecco was always filled, constant smiles on your face and made the evening pure joy.
Just wow. Beyond perfect.

We can't recommend the King Arthur enough. It truly was the best day of our lives and we're so grateful to everybody at the venue for making the most special day. The support and attention to detail throughout the whole process was absolutely unmatched. Zoe, our coordinator allowed us to fully enjoy and relax into the day by being 3 steps ahead of the game! The venue is cosy, intimate and was very special to have over half our guests staying at the hotel. A huge thank you to everyone for making our wedding the most unforgettable and perfect day. -

We had the absolute best day and the best build-up to our wedding, and so much of that was thanks to the incredible team at The King. Every member of staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and wonderfully patient. From the very first meeting, we felt completely supported and in safe hands, and they kept us informed at every step of the process.
The day itself ran flawlessly, and the venue looked absolutely stunning. The food was exceptional, and so many of our guests told us it was some of the best wedding food they had ever had. We would not have changed a single thing. We would recommend The King wholeheartedly to anyone considering it for their wedding. -

Wedding on the 14.11.25
I don’t even know where to start, but I could not recommend the King Arthur Hotel enough to anyone considering getting married here. The grounds, cottage, venue itself and the pub are so stunning. We suffered from Storm Claudia and it rained throughout the whole day and the staff were so amazing making sure we made the most out of our day. Our coordinator Zoe was so unbelievably helpful, constantly checking in and updating us with information. She helped us so much and made the day VERY smooth sailing and my family kept telling me how great the staff were at the venue, they couldn’t do enough for us. It was amazing and way better than I ever thought it could be, the main reason for this was the venue looked gorgeous, all my vendors were in contact with Zoe which meant I felt at ease and whenever I had concerns or questions the wedding team would get back to me very quickly! If you’re thinking about getting married here, please go visit its amazing 😀 -

A Perfect Day!
The team at King Arthur were incredible, our day ran so smoothly and it was just the most perfect day. It went so smoothly that the day absolutely flew by. Rhian our wedding coordinator was fantastic and we truly didn’t have to think about anything on the day as Rhian had it under control!
Nicole then took over in the evening and that all went perfectly too!!
We would without a doubt recommend the King Arthur Hotel to anyone looking to book their wedding and I believe that for all you get included it is also fairly priced!!

We had our day on 16.09.2025 and the day was absolutely amazing. We had many guests with dietary requirements and the staff were absolutely wonderful with getting everything sorted for them.
Helen in reception was a star when it came to chasing guests for room confirmation and keeping us updated as to who had dropped their room 😊and Jo our day Coordinator was absolutely amazing I couldn't say anything bad thing about her if I tried. Jo went above and beyond to help us from start to finish, we had people drop out the day before and Jo helped us move tables around and was ready to keep out any unwanted guest
When Jo went home for the night she made sure we knew exactly who was taking over and neave was so kind and accommodating ❤️ if you are looking for a venue that will make sure your day goes absolutely smoothly keep the king Arthur and the team there in mind. If anything went wrong I never knew about it as the team were all over it before I noticed 💯 -

We had the best day ever! Staff were absolutely amazing and made our day run so smoothly from booking our date at the start to finish when leaving at the end of the weekend. We struck gold with our wedding co-ordinator Annelise! She is fantastic! So calm, reliable and we couldn’t have asked for more and nothing was too much for her. Wish we would relive the whole weekend again.

We spent the best day of our life at the King Arthur. Zoe from King Arthur went above and beyond for our special day. Zoe and her team anticipated things that we may have wanted but did not know we needed for our day. Guests only had good things to say about the wedding breakfast too! I had an accident at the end of the night and Niamh was understanding. Thank you for making our special day extra special with the warm hospitality. I'm glad that guests that came overseas were able to have a great first impression of South Wales too. -

Me and my partner had our civil partnership celebration on the 01/08/2025 at the King Arthur Hotel. We could not have been happier with how the day went and a huge part of that was down to the beautiful venue and amazing work the staff put into our day. From the first meeting up until the day the communication and attention to detail could not have been faulted.
My partner has a severe nut allergy and the King Arthur made sure no nuts were in the kitchen for the day as well as ensuring the menu was still at a high standard (many guests fed back to us how delicious the food was!). Along with that they were so attentive and supportive in the run-up and really went out of their way to make time for us and our many questions / requests! In particular Rhian our wedding coordinator was absolutely fantastic, impressively calm with a high attention for detail, along with all the staff that supported on the day and in the run-up. Something in particular we noticed was how they always made us feel that our day was important and the focus of their attention - which is such a skill when they deliver so many weddings throughout the year.
The venue itself is unbelievably beautiful and the perfect setting for a celebration. We got married on a Friday which worked particularly well as it meant we could book out the hotel rooms the night before for us and our guests.
We would with out a doubt 100% recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a wedding or celebration!
