May Wedding

My now husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and got married here on the second day. We cannot fault the staff. When we found out we would be having a 6 week old baby at the wedding after saying there would be no children we got a "yeah thats fine and congratulations " message and never once felt like it was a problem or an issue.
We did have to ask for no hot plates to be brought over the baby's head but considering how stressful a wedding can be for everyone and how much has to be prepared and remembered it went amazing. The day was unforgettable for all the good reasons.
The grounds were beautiful and allowed for some stunning photos and the food was amazing

We highly recommend Ivy Hill Hotel.

We had our dream wedding at Ivy Hill Hotel in Margaretting in August ’24. We planned our wedding for a good few years and Ivy Hill was brilliant for us in many ways. They always responded very quickly to all our questions and provided us with the right information at the right time. Ivy Hill Hotel is beautiful, from inside and outside, gardens too. Staff were always very helpful, professional and welcoming, nothing was too big an ask for them. They went beyond our expectations during the planning of our wedding and our wedding day. They surprised us during our Big Day so many times, and did things for us we did not even ask them to do, for example they fixed and decorated our wedding cake beautifully for us after it was delivered slightly damaged and decorated our ceremony table for us even though we did not ask them as we forgot to provide flower decorations for this. They also beautifully arranged our wedding favours on the tables. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. They were there for us during the day, helping us with things we did not think of. We highly recommend Ivy Hill Hotel and we look forward to use the venue in the future.

Perfect venue for a perfect wedding

Staff were great and always available to answer any queries we had prior to our big day, manager was amazing and made sure to facilitate to all our needs. Our day ran smoothly, food was yummy and was able to cater to our guests who had dietary requirements also allowing us access to the rooms the night before to be able to decorate was an added bonus! Thank you Ivy

Great venue and staff

We had our wedding and reception at the Ivy and could not fault them the staff were helpful and were very welcoming the food was fantastic and all our guests had a great time I would highly recommend having a look here

Excellent Service

What a amazing venue. Beautiful place for a Wedding. I truly hope we are invited to another function here. The every aspect of this place is simply beautiful. Food was amazing, service even better but nothing beats the ambiance of the place

Amazing experience for our Intimate Wedding

We had a small intimate wedding at the Ivy Hill Hotel last year, and even with the covid restrictions, we still had an amazing day! Nothing was too much trouble and the staff went above & beyond to make sure that we had a day to remember. The venue is beautiful and picturesque. Me and my wife are looking forward to visiting for our one year anniversary. Highly recommended venue! Thank you Ivy Hill!

The beautiful day to remember

Our beautiful winter wedding was made extra special by the lovely staff at the Ivy Hill Hotel. From enquiring, all the way through to the big day, they looked after us & made the whole experience stress free! Many of our guests stayed overnight and were also impressed with the cleanliness & brilliant hospitality of the Ivy Hill. I will certainly recommend this venue, and look forward to coming back & celebrating future events at this wonderful venue.

Dear Libby & Team, Charlotte & myself would like to thank you for making our wedding reception so special. We found it lovely how from the beginning, you were prepared to help us make our reception as we wanted it. Your willingness to let us mix up the package menus a little to create what we believed would be the best menu for our guests (and what we liked!) was appreciated. The lemon meringue pie, although this dish is a favourite of ours, it was the best we've ever tasted. Many of the guests have commented on the quality of the food. Please pass on to our team our grateful thanks for their courteousness & assistance to all our guests and ourselves, to create what we can say was a flawless day. Please also pass on the very positive comments to your chef on duty that day and his kitchen team. The meal & buffet was a job very well done and it delighted everyone. Guests that stayed overnight really liked the rooms too and the superb breakfast the next morning. Thank you again for a well run, efficient and pleasing wedding reception at Ivy Hill Hotel.
