The Best Wedding Venue Ever
We had our wedding at Horwood House Hotel on Sunday and I don’t even know where to start the team were absolutely fantastic. Nothing felt like it was too much trouble people were already moving and organising for us before we even asked or thought about it. Every single person took great care of us and made us feel so amazing. A special mention to Georgina, Maisie, Maisie and Daria for going above and beyond to make sure every guest was comfortable. The food was out of this world, everyone was talking about it the next day. There were clear plates all around and the evening buffet was beautiful and everyone enjoyed it. The team are so good at what they do, the whole day felt so easy and organised to every little detail! This hotel deserves 10 stars it was beautiful the rooms were so clean and every guest felt like they were special. If you’re not looking at Horwood House for your wedding you should be, our whole stay and spa experience was just magical. Thank you to the whole team at Horwood House for your hard work and hospitality from the heart.

We had our wedding at Horwood House in August, and it was everything we could have dreamed of and more. The staff were amazing on the day and helped the day flow seamlessly. Everything we envisioned came to life on the day! We worked with Maisie M to plan the day and she was so helpful in the run up. On the day we had another Maisie who was amazing in ensuring the day went seamlessly, really taking the pressure off us as a couple, nothing was too much! The vibe was exactly what we’d hoped for: joyful, relaxed, and full of love. We felt completely in the moment, surrounded by happiness, and truly couldn’t have asked for a better day. Horwood House will forever hold such a special place in our hearts. We would 1000% recommend having your wedding at Horwood house 🩵 -

Just got back from meeting with the lovely Georgina, and I’ve officially set the date for my big day!
This whole process has been incredibly well-handled from the very start. You can really tell the team has a wealth of experience and knowledge when it comes to special events and weddings.
Georgina put me at ease straight away—she’s always listened to my ideas and made me feel truly heard. The open days are honestly the best I’ve seen; they give you such a clear, inspiring picture of what your wedding day could look like.
Feeling excited and confident knowing I’m in such capable hands!
i cant wait to meet with maisie next to set with all the little details. -

Could not recommend this venue anymore. Staff were so attentive and willing to help with anything even being asked if they can do so many things and when things feel rushed or out of your control the staff are help. Everything went by so quickly during the day but the planning process leading up to the day was amazing and so helpful. The food tasting was beyond amazing and the staff were so helpful in making changes to the menu for us. On the day we had Maisie help us through out and she truly worked so hard to make sure the day went as smooth as possible even with blips along the way no one else had a clue. Our stay at the hotel made it extra special as well our guests felt relaxed knowing they were leaving the wedding party to go to go and get some rest ready for breakfast in the morning. -

Exceeded our Expectations
We recently (June 28th) had the most fantastic day at our wedding & reception in the Manor Lounge & Cook Suite.
Positives:
- From Day 1, Maisie (Coordinator) did a fantastic job to guide us - two clueless grooms - on timelines, recommended suppliers, & next steps. Likewise she was on hand throughout the day itself working tirelessly with her team to keep everything running like clockwork.
- In addition to Maisie, all staff at the venue were lovely (including reserving canapes for the grooms whilst taking photos). Likewise all recommended suppliers worked together with professionalism - clearly a well oiled machine.
- The venue itself is stunning, with multiple hidden nooks for photos (including the secret garden, pond, grand staircase etc.) - Whilst initially concerned about size, the Cook suite was perfect for circa 70-80 guests. Providing ample room to mingle without losing the intimate feeling.
Whilst near on impossible, if I had to find areas for constructive feedback:
- Towards the end of the drinks reception, we could have done with more clarity on when to move to the breakfast & directions.
- I note all templates (venue signage or wedding sheet) come with Bride & Groom as standard. It would be worth double checking these for same sex couples - though I will say you were nothing but warm and welcoming to us throughout (just an admin point).
For anyone thinking about this venue, proceed without hesitation! -

We got married at Horwood House on the 10th May and couldn’t have asked for a better venue! The staff were very friendly and helpful all the way through the planning process and on the day itself (particularly Mariusz, Maisie and Maisie). We used the Manor Lounge for the ceremony and the Eyre Suite for the wedding breakfast/evening which worked really well for our 65 guests. The grounds are extensive with lovely manicured gardens so there’s plenty of amazing photo opportunities! Would highly recommend! -

We recently got married at Horwood House and had a wonderful day. From the day we booked until the wedding, the communication was impeccable, we received regular updates throughout and any questions we had were answered quickly.
Maisie has been our co-ordinator throughout, she is absolutely amazing and we felt so calm leading up to the day knowing how well everything had been organised.
Another Maisie (our on day coordinator) was also fantastic and kept checking in on us all day. The day ran so smooth thanks to careful and detailed planning and the amazing, hardworking staff they have.
A massive credit to the food - it was honestly fantastic all day! We opted for a BBQ instead of a traditional 3 course seated meal. It was so so so delicious and meant all our guests could choose something they like. The staff serving & cooking were also very helpful.
We didn't worry or even have to think about anything all day, it was so perfect, smooth and easy - we would recommend anyone to Horwood House for their wedding and are SO pleased we chose this venue. They couldn't do enough for us or our families.
