The holiday inn made our day so special nothing was too much to ask, staff were absolutely amazing throughout booking and even after the wedding day. Everything ran so smoothly on the day. Get it booked!!!!
We got married at the Holiday Inn Washington on 18th October 2025.
It was THE BEST DAY of our lives! Everything ran so smoothly from start to finish with no awkward gaps while the room was turned around after the ceremony for the wedding breakfast then the disco! The room was absolutely beautiful. The staff went above and beyond to make our day so memorable. Every guest commented on how great the whole day was. The ceremony was emotional, the food was delicious and the disco was fantastic!!!
We’re so pleased we went for this venue, it was everything we wanted and more.
Big shout out to SiAnne (the wedding planner), Chris (the manager), the lovely lady who was like my bag security on the night ( I kept putting it down and losing it🥴, and she would appear with it😁), the two DJ’s, and every other person who made our day so very special!!! Thank you all❤️
So don’t even think about it, just get it booked!

Our wedding day was nothing but perfect! The staff were amazing from beginning to end! Planning to the big day! Every detail was perfect. Organisation and preparation was top tier.
The rooms were decorated to match our colour scheme and they looked amazing. Full room dressage was all included within the price! We added our personalised extras as our personalised touch but the hotel staff done an amazing job of making the rooms look out of this world
We had children at our wedding and the staff even helped with the children and they were amazing with them. Food, rooms, the beamish suite, literally everything was beautiful! Anything we needed or asked was never a problem and attended to promptly.
Would definatly recommend booking your wedding here! You will get a 5 star service *****

Tarbett wedding
Had the best weekend for my wedding felt so welcome with the staff they are so friendly and verry kind they even helped with everything down to entertaining the kids 😀 absolutely fantastic job 👏 would recommend for a family feeling wedding beautiful service. 1 staff member bent over back wards to help me carnt remember her name. We had our wedding here on the 2/10/2025, from first contact with Sianne nothing was ever too much for her, she made sure the day was how we wanted it. Chris who was the master of ceremony was absolutely lovely and basically held our hand all day, Onya was amazing throughout the day and even took our little boy off us while we could eat, nothing was too much trouble. We’d get married again!
We were looking for a venue that would accommodate being married elsewhere and have the afternoon meal and evening do in. The Holiday Inn at Washington absolutely delivered 110%! Firstly, Sianne is an amazing person, nothing is any trouble to arrange, bringing your ideas to life, listening to your needs and any concerns you have. Chris, Lauren, Paul, Vikash and Oana are amazing too and a total credit to your hotel. The price was mind blowing, the quality of the food we received was outstanding, and the organisation was incredible, we really didn’t have anything to worry about and it was totally stress free. The only sad thing is that we can’t do it again. If you’re looking for a venue, please pick The Holiday Inn at Washington, you won’t regret it, and we would do all again in a heartbeat 💓 if we could. May 2025 wedding
From start to finish the team at Holiday Inn Washington have been fantastic. The whole process of planning our wedding was so easy and straightforward, Sianne was so friendly and helpful and nothing was a bother. She gave us recommendations for some of our suppliers and gave us lots of helpful tips to help with our planning. Each time we visited the hotel for a meeting we were greeted by very friendly staff who offered us a drink and the atmosphere was always very calming. Our wedding day went perfectly, our toast master Chris was great and took care of everything, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. All of the staff were very attentive to us and our guests. We hadn’t considered the Holiday Inn as a wedding venue when we were first looking but we are so glad we paid a visit and booked, we would highly recommend them as a venue for your wedding! The package we booked was great value for money, wedding in a box, this covered a lot of what we needed and took the stress away from us. Thank you to Sianne, Chris and all the team at Holiday Inn Washington for giving us a wonderful experience in the run up to our wedding and on our wedding day.Holiday Inn Washington's reply:

Fantastic Venue
Venue was well organised, Sianne, Chris and all the staff at the hotel couldn’t have been anymore helpful, and made our day so much more enjoyable.
The catering, was fantastic, our room was presented well, and we could not of asked for anything better.

We have just had our wedding here on the 1st march 2025, from the moment we came to the hotel we knew it was perfect for us, our wedding coordinator sianne was incredible, professional and always had a smile, she went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect and exactly how we dreamed it would be.
The room was dressed to the highest of standards and better than we could of imagined, the room looked beautiful. The food served for our wedding breakfast and evening buffet was amazing, the staff were really friendly and made sure everything was as it should be.
Chris who looked after us on the day was extremely helpful and guided us through our big day, he made sure we had nothing to worry about the day was smooth sailing.
The hotel grounds for photos are amazing, our photographer has some amazing shots here and we are so excited to see them, this hotel has a lot to offer with the incredible views and the detail around the hotel premises.
The bar staff, Waiters and receptionists went above and beyond the whole time we were there.
Overall I really recommend anyone looking for a perfect wedding venue to book the holiday inn at Washington, you will not be disappointed.
Can't wait to book our annual trip for our anniversaries.
