I actually don't know where to begin ! We booked our wedding here 2 years ago and over them 2 years the team was amazing especially as I had a million and 1 questions over the time and nothing was too much effort for them they was amazing.
Fast forward to our wedding day, it was everything we ever dreamt of it ran smoothly all day we didn't have to worry about anything and we got to enjoy the day and night to the max. The food was amazing and hot which is surprising when catering for a large number, the room and tables were beautiful it was like walking into a magical place. One of the best features is the sweeping staircase where you can have your photos taken. All of our guest had a great time and most saying it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Sue who was with us all day was absolutely amazing she is so good at her job and made sure we had everything we needed from preparation to the end of the day.
After the wedding we went back to our room where the staff had placed rose petals all over the bed with some heart chocolates on the pillows and left us a beautiful wedding card and personalised mugs with Mr & Mrs Wythe on them a beautiful personal touch which really touched our hearts.
All I can say is thank you to the whole team for everything you went above and beyond to make our day perfect in every way and I would highly recommend anyone to have their wedding here.

We had our wedding at Holiday Inn Southend and it was absolutely beautiful. From booking the wedding a year before to the day of our wedding everything was so smooth, the rooms are beautiful- we had a lovely room with the airport view, the food was absolutely amazing we had so many compliments on the food (canapés, wedding breakfast and evening buffet ) the staff were so friendly and welcoming, the ceremony room and reception room was beautiful and Zsuzanna was amazing, the whole day from start to finish was everything we asked for and more and when we got back up to the room it was decorated beautifully with some lovely personalised mugs and a beautiful handmade card, Hayley our wedding planner is so so lovely and actually what sold us booking our wedding there, she is the friendliest person ever and we couldn’t have asked for any better. Thank you so much Holiday Inn Southend 🤍🤍🤍 -

From the beginning of our wedding planning our allocated wedding manager, Hayely was very responsive and helpful. She has taken consideration of our wishes and made sure we were involved in every step of planning. We cannot forget about our wedding host Suzannah who was also very good in decorating our venue and ensured good time keeping and organisation during the day of our wedding. She made us feel at ease and made great effort to follow our wishes and made sure we were not feeling any stress on our special day. In overall Hayley and Susannah along with the rest of the staff we came across were very professional and friendly.
The food was absolutely amazing and beyond our expectations.
We would very much recommend the Holiday Inn venue for anyone who also plans to spend their wedding party at their facility.
After the party we were given personalised gifts and welcomed to a beautiful room that was specius with comfortable bed to rest over the night. We couldn't be any happier and we are very grateful for their effort and professionalism.
Thank you so much for such beautiful memories we have created and experience.

Our Wedding – 8th June 2024
Today is our 1st wedding anniversary, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than by returning to the place where it all began – the Holiday Inn Southend. We're staying once again in the bridal suite and enjoying dinner in the hotel restaurant, reminiscing about what was truly the best day of our lives.
A heartfelt thank you to Hayley and her incredible team for everything they did to make our wedding so special. Their professionalism, can-do approach, and attention to detail were outstanding from the very beginning.
The celebrations actually started the day before the wedding, when we and our guests stayed at the hotel, all wonderfully organised by the Holiday Inn Southend team. That evening, we enjoyed drinks in the bar upstairs, soaking in the unrivalled views of Southend Airport’s runway as planes took off and landed against a stunning sunset backdrop. It was such a magical and memorable way to kick off the weekend.
On the wedding day itself, the venue looked absolutely stunning, the food was amazing, and everything ran so smoothly. We had so many compliments from our guests, and it was all down to the dedication and care from Hayley and the team.
Hayley, thank you for helping us create memories we’ll treasure forever. We feel so lucky to have had our wedding – and now our anniversary – at such a special place.

Fantastic Service from Start to finish,all guests made to feel welcome very professional and organised
Food was absolutely delicious,decor was exactly how we wanted it
The wedding organisers went above and beyond beyond for us,as we was quite unsure of how we go about quite a few things so they steered us in right direction.
They made it all very personal for us,coming back to the room decorated wiv our own personal cups decorated beautifully was an lovely touch,cannot thank them enough

Myself and my husband got married here on 28.11, a Thursday. We had the absolute best day possible. We had a little big package with a small number of guests, this was no problem for the venue. The whole day ran so smoothly, we never had to worry about anything as Sue, Suzanna, Simon and Mo were all on hand dealing with everything. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The bridal suite was beautiful, huge room overlooking the airport, seeing planes coming in whilst getting ready was lovely. Honestly was the best day and if we got to do it all over again I would definitely do it here at the Holiday Inn Southend. Highly recommended -

Absolutely fantastic wedding venue and nothing was too big or too small for them
I had the pleasure of having my africcn traditional wedding at Holiday Inn Southend recently, and I must say it was an enchanting experience from start to finish. The venue exuded elegance and charm. The planning end was also easy and nothing seemed too difficult.
From the moment we arrived, the staff at Holiday Inn Southend went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcome and taken care of. Their attention to detail and professionalism truly stood out, making the whole event run smoothly and seamlessly.
The ceremony itself took place in a beautiful and spacious room that was tastefully decorated.
What truly set Holiday Inn Southend apart, however, was the exceptional level of service provided by the staff (Simon and Hayley were amazing). They were friendly, accommodating, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their dedication to ensuring that the bride, groom, and guests had a memorable and unforgettable experience truly made the wedding day even more special.
I would highly recommend Holiday Inn Southend as a wedding venue to anyone looking for a place that combines traditional charm with modern amenities and excellent service. This venue truly made this traditional wedding a dream come true. -
