Incredible day!
I genuinely cannot rate Healey Barn highly enough. We had the most incredible, unforgettable day and feel so lucky to have chosen this venue for our wedding.
From the very first phone call, the team went above and beyond. They fitted us in to view the venue the same day we rang and even welcomed us to bring our dog along. When we arrived we knew this was the place for us. Healey Barn is absolutely stunning inside, and the surrounding countryside is equally beautiful. Despite being a couple of hours from home, it somehow felt like home.
We also loved being able to book Healey Hall for accommodation and spend the wedding weekend with our closest friends and family.
While the venue itself is beautiful, it’s the staff who make Healey Barn exceptional. Even though they host many weddings throughout the year, they somehow make you feel as though yours is the only one that matters. Throughout the planning process, nothing was ever too much trouble. Any questions we had were answered quickly (often the same day), and when it came to the wedding itself, everything ran absolutely perfectly.
We interacted with most members of the team throughout the process, all of whom were fantastic, but special mention to Leanne for our planning meeting, and Liv and Jack, who coordinated our day so perfectly. They were calm, professional, and genuinely cared about making our day special.
Our guests have not stopped talking about how incredible the venue, staff, and food were. Almost everyone commented that it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had (and some of them are very hard to impress!).
If you’re considering Healey Barn, don’t hesitate. We’re already looking forward to coming back for a feast night — and reliving the day all over again. -

16th August 2025 - Amazing
Although the day itself was incredible, so was the 12 month build up! It sounds cliche but as soon as we set foot in Healey Barn we knew it was for us. The staff and co-ordinators are fantastic, responsive, professional, but also relaxed. We attended a few times prior to the wedding day - always made to feel welcome and heard. Our person of contact predominantly was Jack R - an absolute credit to the venue and to Cripps & Co. The day exceeded expectations by far and our guests have given us such incredible feedback about the venue and the way it was ran. We cannot recommend Healey Barn enough. From the very first minute we stepped foot at the front doors we were in love - all other upcoming viewings we had booked were cancelled. We knew instantly this was the venue for us. There are so many elements that we need to applaud.
Firstly, the sense of community; Healey Barn and their staff aren’t just there for the wedding day, they’re there for any emails, planning calls, feast nights and visits. Exactly a month before our wedding we visited for their street food night which was amazing, my parents are a bit fussy with food but even they loved every bite.
Secondly, the venue itself. It’s so beautiful as is, of course you can dress it up but we saved some serious cash by feeling like we didn’t need to go over and beyond with decor and flowers. It’s versatile, good for all weathers. So many different settings for photos. Just so, so beautiful.
Thirdly, the staff! Absolutely flawless. We had Jack R and Jack S for our day time and night time and they were truly elite. So on the ball, so on top of everything and anything. The biggest of thanks to our to them. Also another special shout out to the waitress with pink hair (I asked her name and have totally forgotten in the whirlwind of the day - sorry!!), such a beautiful soul, so kind and caring, went above and beyond for everyone there!! Also, all the staff who helped in the run up, Leanne and Sarah especially who answered my many emails and made sure we were happy every time!!
Overall, we had support from day one and never once worried or stressed (beyond the usual!) about the day. The day was flawless, they decorated exactly as I imagined, the vibes were immaculate and every single part was easy.
We will definitely be back for the feast nights and are so so glad Healey Barn will forever be part of our lives 🩷🧡Healey Barn - Cripps & Co's reply:

We had our beautiful ceremony and reception at Healey barn and they completely smashed it!
We fell in love with this venue nearly 2 years ago and after visiting one of their feast nights we knew we would have the best day, but it was even better than we thought!
The staff were exceptional! The jacks made our time planning and on the day seamless, they listened to what we were after and were so kind and caring!
We cannot thank them enough for everything they did
I don’t have enough words to say how amazing this venue staff and FOOD were!

Our Wedding day
We can’t put into words how magical our wedding day at Healey Barn was — it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we stepped foot on the grounds, we were blown away by the charm of the barn, the beautiful Northumberland countryside, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere.
The team at Healey Barn were incredible from start to finish. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and calm reassurance made the whole planning process feel easy and stress-free. On the day itself, everything ran like clockwork — we didn’t have to worry about a thing and could just soak up every moment. With Special thanks to Liv & Jack for helping run our special day! and helping me fix my hair before walking down the aisle
The venue is absolutely stunning — the perfect mix of rustic charm and understated elegance. The candle-lit ceremony in the stone barn felt intimate and magical, and the reception space was just as breathtaking, especially with the soft lighting and relaxed vibe that carried into the evening.
And the food… wow! Everything was delicious, but we have to give a special mention to the brownies — they were unreal — and the evening pizza, which was a massive hit with all our guests. People are still talking about how good it was!
Healey Barn isn’t just a venue, it’s an experience — and one we’ll remember forever. We feel so lucky to have celebrated our day there and would recommend it wholeheartedly to any couple looking for somewhere truly special.

From the moment we stepped into Healey Barn the day of our viewing appointment, we knew we wanted to get married there. The Barn is magical, the perfect mix of rustic and elegant and has been very tastefully refurbished. The whole planning process has been so smooth, the team has always responded to our emails promptly. We did not have a wedding planner but I did not even notice that, as the Healey Barn Team was always there to answer questions or help liaise, even with enquiries not directly concerning the venue. In a way it was as if the team was our personal wedding planners! The day itself was absolutely amazing, from start to finish every detail was taken care of, my now husband and I were able to relax and fully enjoy the day with our friends and families. Even though it is their business, the Healey Barn team never made us feel as if our wedding was just a transaction to them. They truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day absolutely perfect for us. Our friends and family were taken care of so well and were so impressed with the venue. Where to start… Healey Barn was the venue we looked at and we knew straight away it was the one for us. From the moment we booked our date in the team had been on hand for questions and kept in touch without the whole wedding planning journey. They made us feel at ease and not once did we have any concerns. When it came to the actual day it couldn’t have gone better. Jack who looked after us on the day was amazing and helped everything run smoothly. Everyone has commented on how lovely the food was and gorgeous the place is and we couldn’t recommend enough to any couple look for the perfect venue.
