We had our wedding at the Harbour hotel on Saturday and can get over how perfect it was. Charlotte’s team made the day so seamless and stress free! Wish I could do it all over again. The food was delicious and all the guest were commenting on how good it was. Highly,Highly recommend! -

A fabulous wedding venue
We held our wedding at the Sidmouth Harbour Hotel on a Saturday in mid-September and cannot speak highly enough of the service and assistance we received from their events lead, Charlotte Allen, and the wider hotel staff team.
The hotel is beautifully set just inland from the beach, on the Sidmouth coast and a stone’s throw from the lovely Connaught Gardens. Its gardens and the outdoor terrace area have the coastline as a wonderful backdrop; indeed, it was the perfect setting for outdoor ceremony and we were fortunate to enjoy warm sunshine.
We jointly planned the day’s ceremony and subsequent celebration with Charlotte and our celebrant Lisa Craig lisa@ceremonieswithlisa.co.uk. They listened to our aspirations and ideas, but also provided helpful, timely advice and worked with us in the weeks and months leading up to the wedding to pull together the plan for our big day. Well organised and attentive, Charlotte and the hotel team were faultless in their preparation and simply exceptional on the day; no detail or concern was ignored or forgotten, nothing was too much trouble and the hotel team were actively finessing each detail throughout the day, having set the conditions in the day’s prior.
We and importantly our 90 or so guests, a number of whom choose to stay at the hotel for one or more nights, had a fantastic day celebrating our wedding and we are hugely grateful to the Sidmouth Harbour Hotel team for their hard work in setting the conditions for it being a most special and memorable weekend. -

Our wedding
We started our journey in 2024 and instantly fell in love with the harbour. It's position and beauty was perfect. Unfortunately our first wedding planner left but Charlotte was able to continue with our requirements. As the day got closer 28-06-25 Charlotte was very professional and helped us with our arrangements. The day was perfect, our room was perfect for getting ready, having our guests waiting on the veranda was sensation. The grounds were amazing for photos. The food was also fantastic with the waitresses being on point. I'd highly recommend getting married at the harbour. -

An unforgettable wedding day at the Harbour
We couldn’t have even happier with our decision to select the Harbour Hotel Sidmouth as our wedding venue. The whole day was exactly as we’d envisaged. Charlotte and her team were professional, coordinated and everything went off without a hitch. The food was delicious, the meal, speeches and the changeover to reception carefully orchestrated, allowing our guests to enjoy the beautiful views from the Harbour terrace and mingle in comfort. We received a lot of compliments from guests for the choice of venue and service received. Would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone! -

Our Dream Wedding Day!
Thanks to the Sidmouth Harbour Hotel our wedding day was everything that we ever wished for. This is a beautiful venue and the outside area with decking and lawn boasts stunning views of the coastline and sea, making the perfect backdrop for some wedding photos. Their wedding co-ordinator Charlotte is super friendly and helpful. She made sure that our reception flowed smoothly and the staff gave truly exceptional service, we can't thank them enough. They all worked so hard to keep up with our 85 guests. We were able to make our food choices from their wedding menu and go along for tastings. The quality on the day was top notch and our guests were very happy. The Connaught Suite is a beautiful room with air conditioning, and also included was the Harbour Room where we set up games and a Photobooth. Prior to booking we had viewed two other venues and we have to say that this hotel's prices were competitive and very good value for what a quality venue this is. They offer three different types of package to cater for different budgets and they were flexible to our needs. We hope to visit this hotel many more times in the future and we would highly recommend this as a venue for your wedding. It was simply the best and a beautiful wedding day for us that most of our guests asked if we couple repeat it all again! -

We had the most special memorable wedding day. The location and grounds are just beautiful and fantastic for photos. It offers fantastic facilities from the hotel, restaurant, spa and luxury rooms.
Every member of staff went above and beyond to make sure every single detail was perfect and every part of the day went to plan.
The food from canapés to wedding breakfast was fantastic nearly every guest commented on how tasty and well presented the food was and no one went away hungry.
We believe this venue to be such great value for money but doesn’t take away from any of the magic or perfection you would want from your special day.
I’ve tried but I honestly don’t have enough good words to say about the hotel, staff and the day as a whole.
We will be forever grateful and enjoy our fantastic memories.

We stayed with the Sidmouth Harbour Hotel for the week of our wedding July 24 and could not recommend the team or the hotel more if you are planning and event or a weekend get away!
Working with the Harbour Hotel team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Charlotte the events coordinator was incredibly organised and kept us on track throughout the planning process.
On the day of the wedding, everything went flawlessly thanks to Charlotte and her team. They managed all the details, allowing us to relax and enjoy our day.
The view from the lawn was spectacular and exactly what we was looking for when choosing a venue, plus with access to the spa and top deck restaurant we knew we would be in for a treat for the week that we stayed with them. Sidmouth is a gorgeous and we can't wait to return!
Overall, the Sidmouth Harbour Hotel provided a magical setting for our wedding. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful place to celebrate their special day! Thank you again to the team
