We had a perfect wedding at Hanbury Wedding Barn. We can't imagine our wedding elsewhere. Georgia, who was our wedding coordinator has been brilliant through our wedding process and was amazing on the day. Everyone who works at Hanbury is kind and helpful. There's lots of space in the venue to enjoy aswell. -

When we first visited Hanbury, we were captivated by its charm and beauty—we fell in love instantly and knew without a doubt that it was the perfect venue for our special day. The stunning surroundings and elegant atmosphere made it feel truly magical, and we couldn’t imagine celebrating anywhere else.
From the moment we booked, Emily and the dedicated events management team were exceptional. They were always available to answer our questions, guide us through the planning process, and ensure that every detail was thoughtfully considered. Their professionalism, expertise, and genuine care made the entire journey stress-free and enjoyable.
On the big day itself, Emily’s presence was invaluable. She was there to offer support, coordinate the details, and make sure everything ran smoothly—allowing us to relax and fully enjoy every moment. Her calm and reassuring approach made all the difference, and we’re so grateful for her dedication in helping to bring our vision to life.
We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and feel so lucky to have had Hanbury and its incredible team as part of our wedding journey. -

I recently had my wedding at Hanbury Barns and it typically coincided with storm darrah! Despite this our day was absolutely perfect from start to end! Our event planner Jordanna went above and beyond in every way and we were so lucky to have her! The barns are the perfect backdrop for every season but our winter wedding was stunning. Having the barns split into 3 seperate function rooms feels like you’ve got plenty of space but not too much that your guests don’t fill it! Each room is perfect in its own way. Having access to the bridal prep room meant I was already on site and had all mine and my bridesmaids hair and makeup done there without the worry it was going to get ruined on the way to the venue. The wedding breakfast room was spectacular and laid out exactly how I wanted. In the evening the dance floor was plenty big enough for everyone also with lots of seating for the older guests without them missing out on the action. The pods on site accommodation were super cute and so convenient for us and our guests. For those overflow guests there are plenty of hotel options around close by to suit a variety of budgets. I would absolutely recommend Hanbury Barns wedding venue in a heartbeat 💓 -

We booked Hanbury just before they were taken over (if we had known we would have chosen a different location), we were promised a load of things like being able to setup the day before etc etc when we booked and when the new owners took over that was no longer the case which caused alot of panic for us.
While the team handled alot of the questions and queries, there was a lack of communication between the team as I ended up repeating myself many times over and fighting the same fires throughout the process.
On the day, while things were setup on time things were missed or not done correctly in line with the notes that I had left such as napkins on the table, signage etc. It's one of those things but could have been avoided if we could have setup the day before - especially as there wasn't a wedding. It ended up being a busy and stressful morning for me and my wedding party trying to get everything done ahead of trying to get ready.
I feel that the venue doesn't cater for DIY weddings so just be warned if this is something you did want to do, as this may not be the venue for you.
The pods were great and clean, but one of the staff was rude to my family when checking in which caused unnecessary stress for them.
On the whole, lovely venue, but improvements for DIY brides need to be considered, the team had the lists of everything that was coming to venue and how I wanted it setting up, if me and my bridal party didn't setup what we did, it wouldn't have been done in time. Apparently the tables weren't set-up in time when the ceremony finished either. Especially if there isn't a wedding the day before, you should be allowed to setup as much as you want or need to. As it was so stressful when it didn't need to be!! -

Hanbury wedding barns
I couldn't recommend hanbury barns enough, from the moment we looked around right up to our special day was just amazing.
We were able to personalise our day with everything we wanted which was just amazing
The day was chilled, fun, eventful and everyone of our guests had the best time.
We made memories that will last a lifetime -
