The most fantastic wedding venue
From meeting the team at the very start we were welcomed in and made to feel special. Thank you for all your excitement on the leas up to the big day. We loved spending the weekend with you for our menu tasting. On the day your staff were superb and everything ran smoothly. The venue looked beautiful, our guests were looked after and the food was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt special. Our vendors loved working with you and all our guests loved the venue include their rooms. Wonderful to have a venue exclusively for your guests. Our wedding planners were superb and everything was as we wanted it.
On the big day is was unusually hot so we were so glad of the air con in the orangery. It was unfortunately too hot to dance in the dining room as we were not allowed to open the windows and there is no air con. This was a shame for the band we had hired as everyone was outside. However outside was beautiful and so lovely to have so much seating for guests inside and out. Disabled access was difficult for those in a wheelchair due to the old building and gravel but staff were very helpful.
Our photos in your grounds are stunning and we will treasure them. Thank you for the best day ever!!! -

Goldsborough Hall was the perfect setting for our wedding. Upon the first visit, we were smitten with the location set in unspoilt countryside, and the rich layers of history to the Hall. The wedding team were responsive and attentive; especially Alison, who acted as our toast master on the day and made our wedding feel smooth. It felt very special to get married here and would recommend any couple to consider doing so. -

When we were searching for wedding venues in Yorkshire, Goldsborough Hall stood out immediately for the quality of its offering, value for money, and the beauty of the setting.
There were so many reasons we chose it: the history of the hall, the stunning landscape, the beautifully kept gardens, the elegant rooms for the wedding party, the on-site chapel, and the fantastic food — including genuinely excellent Yorkshire puddings! Most importantly, the team were warm, friendly, organised, and clearly very experienced.
Alison, our wedding planner at Goldsborough Hall, was absolutely brilliant. She was incredibly organised, proactive, and excellent with communication throughout the whole process. The wider team and staff on the day were also fantastic, and everything ran so smoothly.
Our guests were so impressed by the quality of the food and the venue itself. Goldsborough Hall is such a beautiful place that it makes an impression whatever the weather. On the wedding day, my husband and I kept saying to each other that choosing Goldsborough Hall was one of the best decisions we made, and it played such a huge part in making our wedding the best day of our lives.
We are so grateful to Alison and the whole team for being absolute stars. We were so happy with our experience and will definitely continue visiting whenever we are back in Yorkshire. I couldn’t recommend Goldsborough Hall more highly as a wedding venue. -

From start to finish the wedding team at Goldsborough were amazing.
We were looking for a venue that allowed us exclusive use for the weekend, with beautiful outdoor space. Goldsborough was perfect.
The planning and communication were amazing- there was never a question too small or too stupid.
On the day, everything went perfectly.
The rain didnt spoil the event because there is lovely indoor space. The Orangery was perfect for our 62 guests. The dining room was re-arranged to accomodate the outdoor games ( it was too wet for them outside) Nothing was too much trouble!
The food all weekend was exceptional, the wedding breakfast was stunning.
We were also lucky to work with amazing suppliers too.
I cannot recommend highly enough!
