  Fabulous location, friendly staff.

  Jo and I had a small ceremony and dinner in the Abbey Room. Great river views. Katie managed proceedings brilliantly and all staff were friendly and approachable. Friends & family loved the country feel/location. Thank you Dryburgh!

  Perfect from start to finish

  We had our wedding at Dryburgh mid June and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect destination! Charming hotel right on the banks of the River Tweed next to the beautiful ruins of the Abbey. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves on Friday and Saturday which just made the whole thing so relaxed and enjoyable. Special mention to Jules who was impeccable throughout all the planning and on the day, in fact the whole team at Dryburgh are extraordinarily helpful and lovely, nothing was ever too much to ask. We had family and friends coming from all corners of the UK and they all mentioned what a fantastic weekend they had! Thank you so much! Paul & Grace xx

  Beautiful venue and amazing wedding planner.

  From start to finish, Jules at Dryburgh was fantastic. She listened carefully to everything we wanted and helped us to achieve it all. The hotel is stunning and the location equally fantastic. An amazing backdrop for photos. Whilst Dryburgh can facilitate large weddings, they were equally proficient in catering for a small, personalized wedding, and on the day we felt we were the only people there. Service and the quality of food was second to none. The room was set up perfectly and the actually ceremony was intimate and perfect. We were lucky we got the weather and were able to marry outside but there was a contingency plan. I would thoroughly recommend dryburgh. Jules and all the staff were fantastic throughout.

  Friendly and helpful

  All the staff are absolutely amazing.
  Jules hyde is certainly the hotels treasure and really is a true gem with couples getting married.
  A warm welcome and such a beautiful setting.

  Perfect

  We got married on 18/08/18 at the Dryburgh. From the second we met Jules and the team at the venue and seen the amazing setting we were hooked. We live in West Lothian but my husband is from the borders. We wanted something that was different and had the rustic settings which we both love. Jules went out her way to make us both feel at home, when we were there. On the day we were all set up for an outdoor wedding, then the showers started just as the guests went to they’re seats. Within 15 minutes Jules and her team had got all the chairs from outside and had set up in one of the stunning rooms. The food was amazing, the turn around of the room was very quick. All in all we would recommend the Dryburgh Abbey hotel, as a top venue to get married.

  Dear Jules, a very delayed thank you for all you did for Greg and I. From the very beginning you made us feel so special and I can't imagine a more attentive and helpful person to have walked us through the process of planning a wedding. Despite the weather being very touch and go in the morning, I am forever grateful we were able to do the ceremony outside! A huge thank you also to the entire events team.

  We just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and all the staff in helping with our wedding. We initially picked Dryburgh due to how welcoming and accommodating the staff were as that was what we were looking for. Our plans were a little different so we couldn't just have an 'off the shelf wedding'. From the beginning the hotel and staff were amazingly lovely and helpful. We had so many compliments on the food.
