A huge thank you to the entire team for everything that went into planning and delivering our wedding. From start to finish, everything came together perfectly and there genuinely isn’t a thing we would have changed.
In the planning stages Georgie and Rachel were both excellent, very responsive to questions and made the process feel nice and easy and took away any stresses. The menu tasting was a great evening very well organised, as well as the open evenings where we attended after booking the venue which was a good oppurtunity to revisit the venue and get fresh ideas on what decor etc we needed. We also found a number of our suppliers here who were all excellent, we found it worked well working with suppliers who already knew the venue well.
The team on the day were absolutely excellent. They were so attentive, keeping us informed of what was going on and where we needed to be, whilst not feeling in anway overbearing. Every member of the team we came across throughout the hotel was fantastic.
The food was exceptional, with several of our guests telling us that the wedding breakfast was the best they had ever had. Portions were the perfect size and service very smooth. The main course was particularly well received, and the evening buffet was delicious and kept well stocked throughout the evening.
We were very lucky with the weather, but we think one of the venue’s biggest strengths is having so many different outdoor areas for guests to enjoy. It helped the whole day feel really relaxed and allowed everyone to move around and enjoy the surroundings. The obvious benefit of this as well being lots of different back drops for photos!
Our bedroom was beautiful and the perfect space to get ready in. Coming back after the wedding to find cake, prosecco and card waiting for us was a lovely touch.
We honestly can’t thank the whole team enough. We had the most amazing wedding day and couldn’t have wished for anything more. ❤️

Our wedding day

Everything from start to finish was incredibly professional, starting with the wonderful Erin and then to Georgia when Erin went on maternity leave. The venue was stunning and all of our plans were followed. We were able to go in the afternoon before and decorate the outside. Everything we provided was put out as and where we requested it and Georgia gave us some good tips, ideas and advice! On the day the team worked their socks off and each time the room was turned around, we, the Bride & Groom, were able to check it before guests went in. Onto the food - wow, 7 months later people are still raving about it, the vegetarians, the food lovers and even the fussy eaters - everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. Cadbury House continues to win awards for Weddings and deservedly so. We couldn’t have been happier and the day could not have run smoother.DoubleTree by Hilton Cadbury House's reply:

We married on 22nd November 2025 in the Great Room at Cadbury House. The preparation over the year before was good overall and the wedding team always replied promptly when we contacted them. It was a bit stressful the week before, sorting out logistics of storing our decor the night before the wedding. It all worked out fantastically however thanks to Louis who sorted it all out and nothing was too much trouble.
Our day was magical. The team on the day set everything up just the way we wanted it to look. They couldn't do enough and were very attentive.
The ceremony was so emotional and captured everything we imagined. The food was delicious and all our guests commented on how much they enjoyed it.
The evening entertainment by Cadence was excellent. Everyone had such a good time dancing and the dance floor was never empty!
The loft suite on our wedding night was the perfect finish to our day. So beautiful and comfortable.
I would highly recommend having your wedding at Cadbury House. It was worth every penny and all the work we put in over the year, preparing for the big day, came to fruition thanks to all the team on the day.
Thank you so much for making our big day so beautiful. We will remember it forever.

We recently had our wedding here, while the venue was beautiful and great value for money as we used a packaged. The staff, especially Rachel, was outstanding. Easy to work with and always helped as much as they could!

We had the most perfect wedding at Cadbury House. The staff are fantastic. The whole day ran smoothly and I believe this is down to the staff. The have a great list of suppliers who also made the day amazing. Cadbury House also do really well price wedding packages. Highly recommend.DoubleTree by Hilton Cadbury House's reply:

We have been coming here for years and was thrilled when we could have our wedding here too. The staff were all amazing and wedding coordinator was fantastic. Very smooth running, organised and made our day feel like it's very own. The food was incredible and we couldn't be happier with how I day went from start to finish. Wish we could do over again Thank you Cabury house! -

Our wedding at Cadbury House!
The bridesmaids and I stayed the eve before the wedding and the restaurant was amazing with complimentary Prosecco, the board room we were given to get ready was perfect again with complimentary Prosecco, continental breakfast and unlimited tea/coffee, the weather was definitely on our side which made it that much more amazing. The drawing room decorations were set out perfectly from day to night and it was everything we imagined and more. My drama of the room being too small was completely wiped away. The venue was stunning and we can’t wait to get the photos back!
Michelle and Rachel have been absolutely amazing through the whole process and made it perfect! I trusted them completely and they absolutely came through with their advice. Their both very skilled at keeping a bride (and groom) calm lol!!
Louis ran the wedding day and was fantastic, he was there every step of the way, managed the delays perfectly through the wedding breakfast, even when I was ordering him around to clear the room for the evening! He kept the singing waiters a secret and that was definitely an amazing highlight for us with the team pulling that off through my bridezilla moment! The evening staff who took over for Louis were all amazing, they subtly kept me updated through the night and made sure it finished on a high!
The only downside we had was the entrance music was delayed and really quiet so that was a bit awkward after being introduced in the to the room but other than that no complaints!
The day was absolutely incredible, we honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more and guests are still raving about it. We’d do it all over again! From the garden games, stunning venue, welcome drinks in the gazebo and ice cream van to the incredible evening and dj keeping it on a high. We’re ecstatic with the day and so were the guests!
