Beautiful venue for daughter's wedding
Thank you very much to Allison and the team for making my daughter's day so special. Crowne plaza Gerrard's Cross was perfect for the day. The place was clean. All staff were friendly and helpful. It was great to have the exclusivity of the venue. We loved the fact we were able to bring in our own caterers and the flexibility we had to do that.

Excellent venue for wedding and reception
We booked the Crown Plaza Gerrads Cross for our daughter’s wedding and reception in October. Alison was exceptionally helpful, from our first visit to the venue to the post event phone call. She was very supportive and helpful when answering my numerous phone calls and emails. All of the staff were very helpful.
The venue is beautiful and practical. The events place is attached to but separated from the hotel, you are not mingling with hotel guests during your event. We held the civil ceremony in the Garden Suite; canapés and champagne reception in the bar and the attached garden area and the wedding reception an hour later in the Gerrads suite . We had space for a Photo Booth as well.
Our guests complimented on the beautiful venue, how easy it was to park there and how they enjoyed each part of the venue. I would recommend this venue for your wedding and the reception afterwards.
We hired the venue on a dry hire basis. The caterers, decorator, DJ and the Photo Booth company commented on how easy it was to deal with the venue management and staff. The price for hiring the venue was very reasonable.
A large number of guests also stayed in the hotel and they had fun staying there.

A Perfect Wedding Day – Thank You!
From the moment we first enquired about the hotel, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. During our initial visit, we felt so welcomed, and this continued throughout the planning process—even when we brought in our suppliers. Their cooperation and flexibility made everything so much easier, and we truly felt supported every step of the way.
The day itself was an absolute dream. Everything ran so smoothly, thanks to the attentive and professional staff who looked after us so well. Many of our guests stayed at the hotel and were full of compliments about the beautiful facilities and high standard of service.
One of the standout aspects was the hotel’s one event policy in the events centre—it made the day feel so personal and intimate. We truly felt like we had the entire space to ourselves, away from the rest of the hotel, which made the experience even more special.
We’d like to extend a huge thank you to everyone at the hotel, and especially to Alison, who played a key role in making our day run so seamlessly. Her support and organisation was outstanding.

Wonderful venue!
Wonderful event space with beautiful outside greenery. Plenty of event rooms available and convenient to have hotel rooms for guest that want to stay the night. Great experience - thank you team
We recently had our wedding at the Crowne Plaza Gerrards Cross and couldn’t be happier with our experience. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect.
The staff were amazing — so organised, helpful and genuinely caring. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they made sure everything ran smoothly on the day.
The venue itself is beautiful, with lovely spaces for both the ceremony and the reception. We had self-catered food and the hotel were very accommodating, which made the whole experience even better.

Lovely venue service did not match
I had my wedding here on 7th June 2025, beautiful venue however was not informed at time of booking there would be works going on which was cheeky. I booked initially with lovely lady called Katie that made us feel special but sadly she left by time it was our wedding.
We were left with someone who did not have a passion for events/ weddings and was constantly reminded about end of my event with clear up, I was made to feel unvalued andour wedding was just another event. I had repeat emails asking for same stuff and key Information not shared with myself or the people who will support on the day.
My husband was pulled to a side during our WEDDING again to talk about clear up. There was a clear plan of when that needed to be done by as reminded it was a dry hire. At midnight as wedding finished! Staff started taking pictures and stressing my family out who were about start the clear up, I had already got some family members started near end of event to start going round to clear things.
Worse thing was the venue was not even clean when we got it and my family were forced to clean before use and then after.
On top of that was given a suite with scaffolding as a view that stayed in night before my wedding to get ready to then be informed during our meal that is now in fact my 'honeymoon' suite ended up being the suite I was in night before, they didn't even bother to refill the fridge no complementary champagne or anything there wasn't even water in our room so again as bride had to call reception to bring some up which took a while and then next day when I asked when check out was they said 11 no special treatment for honeymoon.
Had a amazing wedding but the venue staff made the whole thing stressful for me and made me feel insignificant through out. Now my wedding day comes with mixed feelings if I knew I would be treated the way I was I would have gone with another venue. Paid alot of money to have my event there sad customer service in various aspects of hotel were sub par.
Funny thing as well considering dry hire not trusted to use an oven or informed where to leave rubbish just feel paid alot of money for exclusive use of a space and headache and stress was so not necessary.
Pictures of how it was left for us even after showed staff they did nothing.
Taking pictures of spaces before we needed to be cleared up by.
Just very sad I hope they improve customer service and start to acknowledge what may be 'just another event' to them is someones milestone moment i saved for years to be able to have a space like this for our wedding.

We are genuinely sorry to hear that the service you received did not meet the expectations. Your wedding day should feel special, seamless, and joyful — and we are saddened to know that aspects of your experience with us detracted from that.
We understand your frustration regarding the unexpected construction works, and we apologise for the last minute notification, unfortunately we were also made aware of commencement works for emergency repairs last minute. Please know we value every couple’s day as unique and incredibly important, and it is disheartening to hear you were made to feel otherwise.
The concerns raised about communication, pressure during the clean-up process, and lack of attention to detail in your suite are very serious and not reflective of the standard we strive for. We are especially sorry that your husband was approached during your celebration and that you felt rushed and unsupported at such a significant moment. Your comments regarding the condition of the venue on arrival and the absence of basic amenities has been addressed internally with our team and we have changed our protocol to address.
We also take your point very seriously about the emotional impact — it is never our intention for a couple to leave their wedding day with mixed feelings. We recognise that what may be a routine for us is a once-in-a-lifetime moment for our guests, and your feedback is a strong and important reminder of that.

Amazing Service

Very happy with the facilities provided
We chose Crowne Plaza Gerrards Cross for our daughter's pre-wedding party (150-200 guests). Why?
1. Eye-catching building - seemingly in the "middle of nowhere" but with easy access from the M40.
2. Separate Event Centre and car park from main hotel - convenient and good for external photos/videos.
3. Event Centre had two halls separated by a large reception area. We were able to hold different events in each hall with canapes/drinks in the reception area - this led to a more fluid and informal gathering than having everyone cooped up in a single hall. (Note. the small hall has a large number of wide pillars at the back, but we were able to avoid that area).
4. Associations with many catering/decorating companies & DJ's. By using associated service providers, we found they worked very well together and mostly sorted out any issues without having to revert to us.
Disappointments? Some, but not due to the hotel itself:
- There was a garden area accessible from reception, but we couldn't make use of it (evening event in October)
- The package included a complimentary room that we couldn't make use of - so can't comment on the hotel section itself.

Crowne Plaza at Gerrads Cross is a hidden gem, very accessible from London but in a beautiful quiet location.
We booked Crowne Plaza for my son's wedding. The whole experience was very nice. Right from booking the venue till the date of wedding and the handover of the venue, everything was very smooth.
Alison and her colleagues were very responsive to our various queries and they were very co-operative and did their best to accommodate all our needs with regards to the venue availability and access.
We have already recommended the place to other people and I wouldnt hesitate to do the same in the future.
We have made lasting memories of the day.
