10/10 for Colville Hall

We have just had our wedding at Colville Hall. We absolutely loved the venue and the people from the very first moment we visited . From the vintage Citroen next to the beautiful water fountain, the gorgeous ceremony barn to the stunning Mill Pond Barn you could not ask for a better backdrop. Add to that the magnificent team, the expert co-ordination from firstly Claire, and subsequently Karen, as well as the owner, Philippa, the great bar staff and the wonderful caterers, we simply cannot recommend Colville Hall highly enough. My husband says next time he gets married he will certainly choose Colville Hall again!!!!

They brought the wedding of our dreams to life!

We cannot recommend Colville Hall enough for making our wedding day so so special. It was the most perfect day and everything we could have wished for and more.

Guests have not stopped talking about the beautiful venue and brilliant staff. My mum was so grateful for our coordinator, Karen, escorting her to her seat in the ceremony. Every detail was considered from communication to meetings to the big day itself.

Everyone at Colville so incredible at what they do and we feel so blessed that they helped make our day what it was. We will never forget it.

Stunning venue - highly recommended

We celebrated our wedding on 2nd August 2026 at Colville Hall. From the moment we first visited Colville, we realised it was a special place and where we wanted to have our wedding. Phillipa (the owner) showed us around initially and then we were put in touch with the rest of her team. Communication was excellent and the whole process of organising the wedding felt easy. We were able to text and email any questions during the lead up, and a month before had a final planning meeting running through all the timings and details of the day. It felt that Karen, our coordinator, listened to what we wanted and made the day work for us and our children. This was very important for us when picking a location.

On the actual day, we couldn't have asked for a better wedding celebration. Karen liaised with the vendors and managed the day excellently. She was adaptable and flexible with timings in the preparation, which was useful, as we have two young sons. The ceremony was beautiful, the barns looked amazing and the grounds, despite the heat and dry weather, still looked beautiful. Our guests commented on the remarkable venue many times.

We were very specific when looking for a venue, wanting a barn for 150+ and accommodation on site. The venue more than met our expectations and we would highly recommend Colville Hall.

Fantastic venue, inside and out.

Colville Hall was an excellent choice for our son and daughter's summer outdoor wedding. We wanted a venue that would work for an outdoor wedding, but with the option of a spectacular indoor wedding if needed, and Colville provided both beautifully. The staff were incredibly supportive of all our plans, liaised with contractors and made everything work like clockwork. Both the bandstand, gardens and the reception room were styled beautifully, and it provided excellent value for money too. We brought in external caterers for a Sri Lanken twist, but Karen, our onsite wedding planner made sure that all knew what they were doing and how. We highly recommend.

Beautiful Venue

My Husband and I got Married at Colville hall, and it was an absolutely amazing day. We knew from the moment we saw the venue it was where we wanted to get married no other venue came close to its beauty. It was exactly what we wanted. Claire our wedding planner was incredible, helping us plan the wedding before hand and making sure everything ran smoothly during the day its self! I really could not have done it with out her, she looked after us so well and we knew we were safe hands. We really can’t thank Claire enough, she made sure our special day was everything we wanted it to be and more!

The most amazing day at Colville Hall

We got married at Colville Hall on 05/07/2025 and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. It was the 4th venue we visited when we were initially shopping around, and 5 minutes into the tour my now-husband looked to me with a sparkle in his eyes and we knew we had found the perfect place for us.

We loved having the ceremony and the party in the same location, while still having very distinct areas to celebrate each. The lawn area was a perfect place for our guests to relax and we were able to have a range of lawn games that brought so much joy throughout the day.

On the day itself, everything flowed seamlessly from one thing to the next. My husband and I were really able to just focus on having as much fun as possible, without having to really worry about any of the practicalities. We couldn't have asked for a better day, or a better place, to get married! The on-site accommodation was also a nice bonus as we were able to have a nice slow start to the morning the next day.

A particular shout-out to Carrie who was a dream throughout this whole process! She was always extremely quick to reply to my emails, no matter how silly the question or how many questions I asked. Her replies were always detailed and extremely helpful, and definitely helped to make it feel like a stressfree process.

Thanks so much to everyone at Colville Hall for making it such a special day for us!!

Fantastic wedding venue!

We had the best day of our lives at Colville Hall. The day went so smoothly with the venue commnicating with us in the lead up and our venue coordinator Karen supporting with so much running around on the day! We also live in Australia so we planned this from abroad and the day was perfect, even the weather surprised us! Lots of comments from guests on the beautiful venue - not much decoration required as the place has so much character. Would highly recommend to anyone needing a barn venue big enough to have 130 guests with the meal, dancing and a band in the same space without needing to move tables. Would do it again 😆

Stunning venue, amazing grounds!

We had our wedding August 2024, Colville is a stunning venue with stunning grounds make perfect backdrops for all your photos.
We had the ceremony in the top barn it is rustic and was perfect for us, then our evening reception in the other barn.
We loved our day and loved the venue.
Our guests loved that it felt like our own little world for the day and was private and surrounded by nature.

Simply Breathtaking

I fell in love with this venue the second we stepped into the ceremony barn and I couldn't have been happier with how it all went. The team at Colville really looked after us and were happy to answer any questions we had. Some rules about food and alcohol need to be noted - don't bring your own. So accommodating with requests and set up everything we wanted perfectly. The day itself ran so smoothly and that is down to the team. The two barns work perfectly to keep ceremony and celebrating seperate. The grounds are stunning for pictures. Accommodation is a little expensive but due to location of venue this is a good idea - taxis definitely need to be pre-booked by guests.

Amazing wedding

Wow what a great day we had and all the guests commented how amazing it was and the place itself, so many places and settings to get great pictures.

Extra care is taken and all is made sure your wedding is catered for and also whatever the weather luckily we had beautiful weather but even if raining it’s all catered for.

The wedding staff are great in ensuring your day goes as smooth as possible and ours could not have gone bettter.
